Had dinner with our family & friends here (good for larger table). All of the food was pretty good. Kids were all able to find something they liked. Extensive wine list, beer on tap selection was just okay (good options if you prefer IPA). Service was good, pricing was pretty reasonable. Staying at Loon during school vacation week means huge wait times for super busy restaurants. We decided we should take a 25 min drive and avoid the mess in Lincoln/ woodstock area. Boy were we glad we did. We got right in a 6:30 for dinner. Food was fantastic. And service was top notch. Well worth the short drive even if the restaurants in Lincoln were not busy. We had dinner here on Valentine's Day in 2023 and were really impressed. Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Really wonderful. We made reservations again this year for that reason. We were seated in a different location near the entrance in the middle of the room this time so the ambiance wasn't quite the same. My chardonnay came out in a glass that was filthy, you could see and feel the grime on the glass. Appetizer plates were dirty too. The service wasn't stellar but wasn't terrible either. Some of our food was absolutely fantastic while other things missed the mark. Seems a bit hit or miss. read more

Outdoorsy spot on a golf course with a great view of the mountains. My waitress Kristen was great. I had the scallop chowder which was sick awesome. Made reservations for me, my husband, and our 11 year old son for my husband's birthday based on reviews and specifically the pictures of the food on their website and claims of having an outstanding chef. The drinks and views were spectacular. The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive, and and the place was immaculate. That was about it. I ordered the swordfish, and it was overcooked and completely dried out. We ordered the pan seared tuna appetizer because the pictures looked amazing. It was served iced cold, barely unfrozen, barely seared. My husband got the steak and frits. It was a terrible cut of meat, very tough, full of gristle, no seasoning, fries must have sat around a while before serving. read more

Why are more people not recommending this restaurant?! We had the privilege of sneaking out for a date night and chose this INCREDIBLE spot! To be clear, we are NOT golfers by any means, but the views completely sold us!! We are Thrilled that we stopped in despite the lack of reviews. We're big foodies so food was equally as important as the ambiance. Lobster "donuts" with dipping aioli, little neck clams with chorizo and a white wine broth... We could've licked our plates! Our party of 8 had a lovely dinner at panorama 682. The food was delicious, lobster tortellini was the high light! Also the Brussels appetizer is so unique and flavorful. Our server, Nina, was wonderful, very quick and thoughtful. There was live music on the deck, corn hole for the kids, beautiful views. It's a special spot! Nice decor and views. Limited hours(only open weekends I think). Bar is small but nice. Service decent. Menu was limited although they do have a kid's menu. The food was not very good. I ordered a prime rib and got a terrible cut that was full of gristle and fat. Wife's ramen bowl was worse. At least kids' food(burger and chicken fingers) were OK. Can't recommend this place but we'll see if they can improve as Owls Nest development continues to grow. read more

Upscale dining in a relaxed environment. The interior is crisp and modern with incredible views of the White Mountains. The menu had a nice variety of proteins; steak, duck, pasta. My bird in a nest was exceptional; brined, moist, roasted chicken over hand cut fries and asparagus. Burgers were a big hit with others in the group. Nice wines by the glass; GRUV and claret stood out. Waitstaff friendly and offered suggestions for day trips in the area. We were there for a wedding (outstanding!) and will be back again! read more

First time visiting this restaurant and will certainly be the last. We rented a cabin at the resort for the long 4th of July weekend and decided to make reservations for a nice romantic date night. We waited 10 minutes before even being greeted by our waitress to see if anyone had waited on us. Our "tiger" shrimp was small cocktail shrimp and extremely over priced. 40 minutes after being seated our break finally came and the waitress said our food would be out shortly. 20 minutes later I asked again on our order and was told once more it would be ready shortly. At that point I asked for my check, paid for the drinks and left. The waitress said she was sorry but the kitchen got backed up but all the tables that showed up after us all received their meals before us with no issues. Recently re-branded at Panorama Six82. We gave this place another try over the weekend to see if it had improved. It's the same place with a nice facelift. Views are definitely beautiful but the biggest problem, other than average food, is it's a clubhouse where drunk golfers gather after the links. It's presented as upscale dining but you can't eat there without someone literally yelling due too much booze and this time didn't disappoint. I'd suggest a separate "clubhouse" other than the bar (which openly connects to the dining room and can be every bit as loud) and keep this is a true upscale restaurant. But you can't have a nice meal when the intoxicated woman one table is literally shouting, and the staff keeps coming out to chat with her and she gets even louder, or the table of 8 is smashed. Food was OK....stacked Cobb salad was beautifully presented but the lettuce had those outer old shriveled leaves on it, show lack of interest/attention in what's going out of the kitchen. No bread was brought to the table, wine list is awful and very very limited. Steak was horribly overcooked, pure gray. The cheese plate was a nice presentation even if the cheeses were completely mundane and nothing you can't get a Market Basket. Our young server was lovely and charming. Had hoped for better things with the relaunch, this area really could use a true fine dining restaurant. I'd take the excellent BBQ over at the Sunset Grill over this, I have never been here were it wasn't just an intrusively loud boozy scene. read more

I am here for opening of Thursday Pasta Nite and very impressed by the selection. The salad was fresh and tasty, pasta cooked just right al dente, sauce slightly sweet and tasty, good wine. I spoke with the executive chef, Juan, and he is engaged and excited about the new menus -- prime rib on Sunday and pasta on Thursday. Open all winter except Monday and Tuesday. We were blown away by this place! We weren't expecting anything nearly so nice coming off the ski slopes, but this was honestly one of the best dining experiences we've had in months. The venison in particular was wonderful - local cut, fall-off-the-bone tender. Let's be real: Completely decent food but NOT a "top New England restaurant destination" like someone else said. Food was satisfactory but nothing special, especially considering this is a "fine dining" restaurant in these parts and eating here costs a premium. Service was with good intentions and a friendly smile but very inexperienced and needs practice--drinks from waitress and bread came quite slowly, 6 plates for bread were left stacked in front of one patron, and no water refills for quite some time. NOTE: Deserved a 3.5 but no halves here and gotta lean more to 3 than a 4. If I could have split service from food, service would be a 2.5 and food a 3.5. read more

Food is solid but a bit pricey for portion size in this area. I got the homemade pasta last time and it was terrific. They also took some things off the old menu that were really good and my re fairly low priced.This place also used to have a really good and encompassing wine menu and now it's just average. Still a great place to grab a drink and see the sunset, but can get just as good food at six burner in Plymouth with a bigger portion size and at a better price. read more

They have recently changed the menu from fining dining to a more casual atmosphere. Views are unbelievable, sunsets are to die for. Specials on Friday, Saturday and Sunday take it to the next level. Staff is very accommodating and it won't break the bank to enjoy an evening out with friends. This is open to the public! You don't have to play golf to come an enjoy this fantasic place. I have eaten at Panorama on several occasions since renovating. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the view is second to none. I am in the area several times a month for lunch and Panorama at Owl's Nest is my favorite place in the area. Salads are fresh and innovative - the chicken Caesar includes delicious, tangy roasted tomatoes. The marble-rye Ruben sandwich - I get mine extra crispy toasty - is heaven. I think they make their corned beef in-house. I'm not a big fan of wrap sandwiches, but the Cobb is terrific. Service is fast but not pushy. read more

We recently stayed 6 nights at Owls Nest Resort and ate at the Sunset Room every night. We can't say enough good things about the restaurant. Our favorites were the Chicken Marsala, Pasta Bolognese, Caesar Salad, Lobster Salad, Key Lime Pie, and Cheesecake. The waitstaff was very attentive and the views are beautiful. read more
