This brewery isn't open every day, so definitely check the hours before going! There are clear gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan labels on the menu, which makes ordering easier. I got the blackened shrimp tacos, and there is a modification that lets you make them gluten free. I also had a Citizen Cider, which was good. Overall though, it is a bit pricey here. I took one star off because 17 dollars for two small tacos did not feel worth it. They also have a small gift shop with their merch, and I ended up getting one of their beer cups because of the logo. read more

Stopped in on a recent sleepy Thursday evening to grab a bite to eat after rolling into town. The tall building appears stately, clean, and mostly cozy with its two floors of exposed wood beams, bright chandelier, and open concept seating. My husband and I were seated on the upper level, practically by ourselves for most of the meal. Service was predictably efficient given the lack of a patronage. The menu sounded really great and after some time perusing, I landed on their meatloaf entree. My husband ordered the steak tips and we opted for a harvest salad to share. All the food came out at the same time though the salad would have been nice as a separate app. We left it to close out the meal so our main dishes wouldn't get cold. The meatloaf could have used some additional gravy to enhance the somewhat bland profile of the ground meat. The hearty portion was certainly a feast and though I generally enjoyed the dish, it was nothing to write home. The harvest salad was crisp and fresh with a healthy dose of beets and goat cheese on the side, but the beets really overtook the remaining ingredients on the plate (which I guess is a win for those really into this ingredient). The steak tips received a fairy positive review. We ordered a couple of their draft beers which were good but not great. For the price point, I would have liked to have been a bit more blown away by the food for it to have felt truly worth my time and money. So... overall a decent meal that left us with full tummies but not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again. read more

We stopped in here after a hike for some beers and appetizers. We got seated outside pretty quick and had good service for our time there. The food was okay, the appetizer menu was very seafood forward and not a lot of great options to share for a group of six. The beer cheese with the pretzel was super bland and left a lot to be desired. Beer was okay. We actually all ended up trying a different beer, and no one had complaints but none were super special either. This spot is okay. Probably great if you're staying in the town, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more

They get super busy but the staff is so kind. This place has a very open concept. Tables inside/outside and it has several floors. It's pretty big. I had a burger and it was probably one of the better ones I've had in a very long time; they also had gf bread. My husband had I think shredded pork but it was made slightly different than we do it upstate style; they added a few different things. Pretty good as well. read more

We had never gone to Basecamp before and we will be going back. The place has a great vibe, open and airy. The food was yummy and the server was attentive and pleasant. There was 4 of us. Everyone was happy with their selection, fish sandwich, fish and chips, salmon and short rib shepherds pie. The deserts were good especially the pineapple upside down cake. read more

Bad beer. Kinda slow service. Bad music. Looks cool inside but doesn't deliver. Didn't eat so hopefully the food is better than everything else. Also advertise they allow dogs on the porch but closed the porch so our dog had to go home. Should have known I couldn't trust them if they turned away my dog. The place is clean, fresh and inviting. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp app. I had the Fish and Chips and my wife did the Harvest Salad. Every food item was amazing! Our Server Alex was awesome and took great care of us. Pricing is very reasonable for the food quality. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out! read more

Nice big place so there is only a short wait, even though it is very popular. We enjoyed sitting upstairs with the abundance of wooden beams - lots of atmosphere. Our waitress was fantastic. The meal was absolutely delicious from chicken sliders to salad salads and fish entrée. The large roasted chicken was sensational and we went back two nights later, just to enjoy it and the rest of the place again. Even our kids loved it. Desserts were all really yummy. I hope all of this was just due to growing pains as this place is very new. But it will be a long time before I decide to go back. Let's start with the staff: indifferent, untrained and charmless. I'm not expecting anything more than a welcome and a few menus from the person at the front desk. We felt like we interrupted her Pinterest scrolling. When we asked to be seated to the table *not* next to the door (there was plenty of availability), she seriously gave us an eye roll and threw the menus on the next table. "Somebody will be over to take your order" she muttered, as she walked back to her station and her phone. No eye contact. "Somebody" did indeed come over. We asked a few questions about the menu. Clearly, Somebody wasn't in the mood for checking with the kitchen. We went with burgers so that she wouldn't have to ask the kitchen staff if something had celery in it. The burgers were dry and tasteless. One bun was burnt. Another was stale. The fries were cold. The beer list is very, very limited. If you don't like what they are making and have available in house, then your options are crappy Budweiser products. We waited 15 minutes for Somebody to come back and give us our check so that we could leave. Then after asking for the check we waited another 15 minutes for the check to show up. If I had had cash I would have just left it on the table without even waiting for the check. The decor went from generic heavily wooded ski Lodge vibe to something chip and Joanna Gaines did 15 years ago. Everything is bright and white and generic farmhouse-ish. Except for the ladies room. I don't know what the hell they were trying to do in there. It's like they had leftover products from another project and threw them all in there. I really wanted it to be good because the location is fantastic for me. But between the sub par food and the staff that clearly doesn't like working there, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Basecamp Brewing is hands down my new favorite spot in Lincoln. The renovation came out amazing. you can actually see the brewery now! The food update is just as impressive as the remodel. We ordered multiple small bites and a few main events, and it finally feels like the menu matches the energy of the atmosphere. Great beer, great food, and a great vibe. The new deck is the cherry on top. Sitting outside with live music, cold beer in hand, and views of the mountains... it doesn't get better than that. Honestly, it's the spot I want to be every weekend. Can't recommend it enough! read more
