We had planned on dinner at the Common Man on a very rainy Monday night, but they had a line waiting to get in that went out the door! So, we looked for something else nearby. Lo and behold, One Love was just up the road. Two in our party are vegan , so it was important to find someplace that had food they could eat. 2nd time at One Love. Totally different experience. To briefly sum it up: 1. Ambivalent server- he was not hospitable nor engaging. 2. The poutine recipe has changed- last time I LOVED the poutine and I was back for it! But to my surprise it is now a mushroom gravy and I am just not down with that. 3. I love giving out good reviews when deserved. It gives me satisfaction to reward in a public way, good food, good service and good ambiance at a restaurant. I don't feel good when I have to pen a substandard review but again.... Despite good food and ambiance at One Love Brewery, service left a lot to be desired. I hope management can retrain employees in the science of customer service and make it known that when on the clock, they represent the business. We came in to One Love Brewery after a great day of early season skiing and we were tired, hungry, and thirsty for a libation and some food. Besides ourselves, there was only one other table occupied. The greeter was friendly and told us to take any table in the room and a wait person would be with us momentarily. We waited. And waited. And waited. Easily 15 minutes. In an almost empty restaurant. No one came over or recognized us. Towards the end of the bar, there was a young male who was obviously an employee, chatting away with another employee inside the service station. We approached the bar and he actually looked at us before turning his head and going back to chatting. Totally ignored us. We then saw another employee chatting at a different location and asked her if there was wait service. She acted as if we had interrupted her and came over with menus before going back to the conversation. The brews were superb. I had the "Beautiful Day" IPA and another family member had the Pumpkin ale. All exquisite. We also ordered one of their superb giant pretzels, enough to feed four people. We were almost finished with the beers before the pretzel showed up. Halfway through the 20 minute wait, we asked the wait person if the pretzel was coming. She came back and told us that it was frozen and that it took additional time. I support local establishments. But this one really left me with a great beer taste but also a bitter taste about their service. I really hope they improve it. Not even the chunks of garlic tasted like anything, I'm not sure how that is even possible. Southwest Chicken Sandwich is a plain chicken with absolutely no sauce, corn, salsa, or anything "southwest" and bacon was burnt. Pork Schnitzel was so burnt it only tasted like burnt fry oil. Starting with their "Czech Your Head" Pilsner and that was so good that I had a second. With it, their buffalo chicken wings. A decent portion, served with blue cheese and celery. Not too wet with sauce but enough. "Buffalo hot" wasn't that hot at all. Wings were tasty and medium-sized as far as meatiness. Coming into the area for an impromptu getaway I decided to stop at this brewery. I always try the local beer places as I am a bit of a beer snob. The selection was really nice and I tried a couple of pints both of which were delicious. Apparently they close at the end of the ski season, which is tomorrow April 13, for a month, so their food menu was very limited as according to the bartender they were just trying to sell what they have. This place had what we were looking for; outdoor dining and craft beer. My group enjoyed their beers. I stuck with water. The outdoor patio was comfortable. My Summer Salad was lovely. I just wish I asked for dressing on the side. It was a bit much for me. Another in my group loved the generous pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. She said the slaw was different. The other in my group had a generous fish and chips. Fries were great. The fish wasnt what he expected. (He'd had better.) Service was fine. I read a lot of the reviews before heading here, I'm glad I went. We went this past fall during Loom mtn Octoberfest weekend. Yes the wait times were long, and yes they seemed just a bit unstaffed, But give them some grace for trying their best during Covid. We went here twice and both times we were quoted a long wait time which was understandable. They said we would be texted when our table was ready but both days it didn't work, so I'm glad we went back to check on our table. The second time we went (a few days after the first time we went while staying at loom mountain) the bartender was very nice and efficient. We ordered apps and dessert. The pretzel was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. So soft and tasted great. The cheesecake was also great. They were busy but everything came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot. I enjoyed our meals here and would recommend if you are in the area. This is in a tiny strip mall, but cute with nice views outside, and if you waiting there is a little wine place next door you can enjoy a wine flight while waiting. read more

The ambience was great and there are two floors within the brewery which allow for all areas to hear the live music. The waitstaff wasn't the friendliest, hence the 4 stars. We'd called before arriving to check in on the timing of the music and the waitress was a grouchy and we're pretty sure she was the same waitress that served us. Otherwise, great time. I visited One Love Brewery on a Saturday afternoon in a group of 5. We gave our names to the hostess and walked around while we waited. By the time our table was ready, we were already seated at another restaurant, but the hostess was kind enough to re-enter our names in the queue so we could return in another 30 minutes. We ended up sitting outside and our waiter came by almost immediately. We ordered a few apps (pretzel, wonton nachos, and poutine with chicken on the side). All the food was delicious! You really can't go wrong with that and a cinnamon sugar rim! They have a nice vegan and GF menu, and even have a dog menu. My friend and I were in the mood to split an appetizer and entree. I decided on the firecrackers nachos, and she got fish and chips. Let me just say the idea of wontons as chips is a PERFECT idea, because they stay crispy. Usually nachos get soggy after 10-15 minutes and become unappetizing. They had the perfect amount of bbq and chipotle sauces, with a drizzle of sriracha. They don't come with sour cream or salsa, but you can ask for them on the side. My friends had a huge portion of fish and chips with coleslaw. She usually doesn't like coleslaw, but finished it all. Our server was wonderful, and constantly checked up on us. I love the outdoor seating area; especially on the grass; it must get packed in the summer. Date of Visit: July 14, 2023 Oh One Love - you broke my heart. I so wanted to Love you, but I just can't. Based on some of the recent reviews that comments like "Almost didn't go here because of negative reviews. So glad we gave them try." So, with this advice, I went against my better and usual judgment to avoid restaurants with less than a 4.0 star rating. I should know better. Vibe: I can see that alot of the appeal is the massive deck, which is great on a beautiful day. I sat inside at the bar - and have nothing really negative or positive to say about the vibe. The place was somewhat busy, so good energy from that stand point. Service: At first, service was good and had a good convo on their beers and recommendations. There weren't any real gaps in service, but service could have been a bit more attentive. I did notice much of the staff liked to congregate at the end of the bar and chat - hence the level of attention. Food/Beer: The Vienna Lager was good, but certainly not anything I would make a special trip for. I had the Veggie Head Burger with Fries. The fries were your standard Seasoned/Coated Fries - they have some flavor and stay hot and crispy. OK - those were the high points. So let's talk about the Veggie Head - the online menu states that it had Fried Avocado, but in restaurant the "fried" is crossed out, so just Avocado. I was OK with that as I know there are still issues with supplies. But when it came out, it was smashed Avocado and felt like a packaged/frozen product. As for the Southwest Style Veggie Burger - I was forewarned that they didn't make it in house and I was yet again OK with that - but there was absolutely not texture to it. At least put it on the grill to give it some crisp. The Burger is topped with Salsa - yet another problem - the juice from the salsa, pooled on the plate, making the bottom of the bun soggy. Next epic failure - the bun - it was overly dense and worse yet, not toasted. When you have a burger without texture, toasting can add texture. So in other words, the burger was a soggy, pile of mush. Overall, I should trust my gut and I am sure there are better places in Lincoln, NH to enjoy a meal. read more
