    Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese
    Madison K.

The food here is good! We made a point to return here on our family's most recent trip up to North Conway as Hobb's is on the way, about 30 minutes south of our destination. The place has a nice vibe, it's spacious and going for the dark modern farmhouse pub vibe. I ordered the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese because nothing sounded better than Mac and cheese in that moment. But did I get the Mac and cheese in that moment? Or any of the next moments? No! Service was painfully slow. Probably around 30 minutes of waiting for our food. I was so hungry and my patience was wearing dangerously thin. I needed my Mac asap!! The server came around once during h that time to say the food would be out shortly, which it wasn't. The place wasn't packed or anything, so not sure what was up. When my food did arrive, it was delicious. Very flavorful cheese sauce on the Mac and the chicken was excellent. I'd still come back the next time in town! Maybe I'll be lucky to catch some of the live music they play too.

Stopped here for a brew, snack, and soup after a day of skiing Attitash. The pretzel bites were tasty and the french onion soup and beer (session) were okay. While service was friendly, it was really really slow, especially for being seated at the bar. Glad I tried it, but don't think I'd return.

Wonderful spot. Plenty of room for everybody, plenty of different drinks including mead. Food was literally lick the plate clean. 25/30

This is the Front Dining Room: six empty tables and a dozen people ( two parties of three, and three parties of two) waiting to be seated.

Service? Front Dining Room had 12 tables and six were empty. We were told that the wait to be seated was twenty minutes. This is the second time that this has happened to us within two weeks. The food is pretty good, when we have been there before; but it doesn't make any sense to have a crowd of people standing near the hostess station stairing at empty tables while waiting to be seated. The food is good; but Dining Room Management could use a reboot.

    Alleged chicken wrap

Great vibe, cool facilities, but the food was just okay. Most frustrating was my "chicken" wrap, which was 90% lettuce and almost no chicken.

I'm not sure how busy this place can get, but stopping here at 4pm on a Monday (during day 1 of our official honeymoon) proved to be promising & there were only a couple customers at the bar. The rest of the place was empty. My husband & I were immediately seated with a view of the back of the restaurant/deck. I have to say that the fried cheese curds are bountiful & the sauce they come with adds something extra. I had the fried haddock sandwich with an upgrade for sweet potato (waffle) fries. My husband built his own burger (which he had fun with, haha) & could hardly finish it. The coleslaw has a bit more of a pepper taste, but it's fresh & good. The restaurant was clean & inviting. We may stop by in our way back home from our honeymoon for lunch. The service was prompt & efficient (which may also be due to the fact it was quiet). P.S. Most of the beer options have a "hoppy" taste or are close to an IPA. I personally dislike it, but just giving a heads up for those like me. Their cocktails are $12.95/ea. which is pretty steep.

Our dinner at Hobbs Tavern was a very popular experience. Yes, being a Friday night it was crowded, and we had a 20-minute wait on the front lobby benches with other folks in the same situation. It was actually an enjoyable wait as we gabbed with the friendly folks and passed around a menu. When our name was called, we were escorted to a table behind the bar and dove into the beer menu. We saw four IPAs, a dark lager, two light lagers, and a Saison. We both went for their Wet Hop Community Wheat Ale Lager (5% ABV) and $6 for a pint. The price was right and the beer was refreshing and very drinkable. We shared one of their appetizers - a nice bowl of Pretzel Bites served with an IPA Mustard $8.95. They were hot, salty, and perfect for sharing. We were going to an all day wedding the next day and figured we'd be overfed for lunch and dinner, do we took it easy for the Hobbs Tavern dinner. We both got a $6.95 salad (Tavern for my wife and Caesar for me) and added on $6.95 Grilled Chicken (her) and $10.95 Maple Bourbon Steak Tips (me). I gotta tell you, the steak tips were excellent. I ordered them medium and they were delicious -tender and juicy with an amazing sauce. I don't eat a lot of steak, but I was so glad I ordered these beauties tonight. Overall, it was $54 for a big beer, a small beer, an appetizer and two salad with a side of chicken and steak. I think that was pretty reasonable.

It was a busy evening in this area, with other local restaurants not more taking reservations, so we took our chance at showing up here and we sat at the bar. Glad we did! Excellent drinks $$$ and food $$. The southwest schnitzel was sold out so I ordered the steak and cheese egg rolls and southwest bean sweet potato soup. Delish. Staff were friendly!

From what we understood, they don't serve food until 3pm or 4pm. The location is so unsuspecting for a brewing company. We found the place on our GPS but it's definitely not a building you'd easily see when passing by. It's very industrial in appearance & getting to it was a bit different. Outside there are chairs & cornhole boards. I believe there was a fire pit & they had lights strung throughout. We only stayed for a beer but we'd love to come back in the summertime & hang out outside & get a better feel for the live entertainment they have & meet some other beer-loving people!

I will say that this is in the middle of nowhere, so don't let that discourage you during the drive down the long, dark dirt road. When I pulled in I saw the house and thought for sure I was in the wrong place but then I spied the brewery. I parked and went on in. Once inside I was greeted by the bar dog who was friendly as can be! I sat down and asked about getting a beer flight. I was told it could be either 4 or 8. Holy cow, what do you think I picked? I an not a fan of IPA's so I picked the 8 non-ipas on the menu. I cannot stress this enough - I am a serious beer snob. I use Untappd to rate all my beers and I am a tough critic. ALL of their beers were amazing! Each one had its own distinctive taste and flavor profile. So good! But thats not all. I also got a pizza, which they make in a truck right out back. It was fantastic and not overpriced like a lot of places. I think my peperoni and mushroom pizza was $13. I was happy to pay it for the quality I got. The staff was friendly and so nice.
