Small brewery with some great beers in the Fryeburg area. Stopped by here during my stay in North Conway. Saco River Brewing was easily one of the better breweries I stopped at in the area -highly recommend going. The beers are great. I tried their Imperial Milk Stout, Flip Flop #50 IPA, and D.O.T. Czech Pilsner. Flip Flop was my favorite, left with a 4-pack on my way out. When I went there was food trucks as well serving a few different things, burgers being one of them.

SRB puts out fantastic NE style IPAs. They honestly do a better job than most of the big guys and I love that they distribute in the Portland area. The space is rustic and cozy. It's sort of a garage type situation, and the place was pretty packed with locals soon after opening. I got a flight of 4 pours (2 IPAs, 1 porter, 1 sour), and they were all really great. The Flip Flop ipa is their rotating hop ipa, which we ended up buying a 4 pack of to bring home. Very nice staff, really glad they opened up shop where they did and are enriching the community!

Delicious DIPA, cool atmosphere, nice beer selection. Great place to get hydrated!! Stoping by on my next visit to town.

Stopped here to check out the brewery and get a growler. Also, to eat lunch at the Lab restaurant that apparently moved to another town. Service- talk about service? This place had the type of service you would expect from a small hardworking brewery. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the gentleman behind the bar. He offered tastings of their IPA because I said I was interested in getting a growler. Extremely nice, and was holding court with the other patrons at the full counter. This guy could work the room. If he wasn't the owner, then he sure fooled me. He did not want us to leave without a positive experience. Atmosphere- tables with umbrellas outside. Nice and easy parking. Couple cornhole boards and bags set up outside. Inside, it is a L shaped space with the small L being the bar area where all the action is. Not the most efficient use of space, but they still make it work. Behind the bar is a glass wall separating the tasting area from where the magic happens. All the brewing equipment looks well organized, and clean. The prices, sizes, and types of beer are written on the glass, and it looks very sharp. There is a rod and reel with a fish on the wall above the taps, which is most likely a nod to the river/nearby lakes. Product- I came away with a growler of their flip flop IPA after having a pint outside. Very flavorful and balanced. Tasted fruity and fresh, but not sugary or too sweet. The growler had a very pleasing logo and same with the glasses. Overall, lots of thought went into the beer and their vessels.

Stopped by the brewing company after a night of camping.

Good beer. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the friendship we were with. The cost is reasonable for fresh beer.

Spectacular beer in a beautiful rural town. The Ancient Galaxies DIPA is hands down one of the best juicy/creamy IPAs I've had.

The coffee stout is excellent. I love dark brews and sometimes they are hard to find in this era of IPAs.

My wife picked a seltzer which was also good. They had huge tacos. Two was enough for me. The beef taco was spicy... just right for me. Nice facility. They have outside seating. Good if you have a dog. Friendly staff. They had a trivia game the night we were there. Lots of fun.

We were the only customers that arrived right as they opened which allowed us time to chat with one of the owners. I forget his name, but he was so welcoming & fun to talk with. We pulled up a seat at the super long bar & took in the atmosphere. There was another associate that was prepping for the daily taco bar (?) they do. From what we understood, they don't serve food until 3pm or 4pm. The location is so unsuspecting for a brewing company. We found the place on our GPS but it's definitely not a building you'd easily see when passing by. It's very industrial in appearance & getting to it was a bit different. Outside there are chairs & cornhole boards. I believe there was a fire pit & they had lights strung throughout. We only stayed for a beer but we'd love to come back in the summertime & hang out outside & get a better feel for the live entertainment they have & meet some other beer-loving people!

I'm so glad I did -- it's gotta be one of my favorite breweries in Maine. Definitely top 5. The views here might just be the best in the whole state. You get stunning mountain and hill views, which were especially beautiful during our fall visit. There's plenty of outdoor seating with tables, chairs, fire pits, and even some covered spots. The indoor space is small but cozy. The beer pours were fantastic. The menu was a bit limited, but there was something for everyone. Their NEIPA and DIPA were incredibly smooth, and my partner said his pumpkin ale special was amazing. They also offer food, which was a nice surprise. It's off the beaten path, but with a great vista. The beers are fantastic - smooth and flavorful... we are getting sick of bitter IPAs, and the selection here has the hop flavor without the bite. Fluvial hits home runs on several styles, and to top it off, live music that I actually like. What a great place to spend a warm Saturday afternoon!
