Getting to this place via car was a bit challenging. It's behind another building so I'd suggest just grabbing close street parking and walking. Once you find it, it's a small room with a bar. The staff is really sweet and they have a good amount of options. We did a flight but it wasn't what we expected. It wasn't just a few glasses all at once, they serve you each individually. Visited here over the weekend with my significant other. She inquired about a wine of theirs she had in the past. The woman on the store floor was unsure if they had it, so she got another women working in the back to help. This woman was incredibly rude and condescending towards her. A simple inquiry led to a very uncomfortable and off-putting interaction. There is no reasoning behind treating a customer like this. We promptly left after. I would suggest avoiding this business and their fermented fruit juice altogether. read more

Made it there at 4:35, to be told they stop sampling at 4:30, which is not indicated on their door nor google search of their business. We are out of town from OH and she told us to come back tomorrow because she already cleaned the machines. Nice little place tucked away downtown, we came here yesterday for a tasting and ended up buying a couple bottles each because the wines were so good! It's a family-owned place that loves dogs so you really can't go wrong. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and they've got a ton of creative wines, one that I loved but didn't think I would was the coffee wine -- delicious! I bought a bottle of the Chenin Blanc because it was so yummy, and the Pineapple Sauvignon Blanc, which I'm eager to try. It is a smaller place and can get crowded fast, so just keep that in mind when you go. We weren't waiting long but if you come on a weekend, be prepared for it to be busy. read more

Hard to find unless you're looking for it, but this winery is not something expected in the North Conway area. It's family owned, very cute and home to some friendly dogs. That being said - this winery don't make their own wine in the traditional sense...if you're looking for a vineyard or grape source nearby this is not that kind of experience. They purchase the grape juice (from other notable wineries) and mix them in house. Product is still wine, but I can see how the name might mislead some other people who've reviewed here. We shared a tasting because we had no idea what we were in for, but all the wines we tried were pretty good. All of them were on the sweeter side, but my fiancé likes those so he was really enjoying himself. We did come home with a bottle of Peach (that's how it was labelled in the tasting) - I can't wait to make some fun bellini's with it! read more

We go to North Conway multiple times a year and we make it a point to visit White Mountain Winery. The owners Bryon and Allie offer a friendly and welcoming environment and the store has a quaint mountain feel to it. Upon arrival you are greeted by their very friendly dogs, Doc, Lucy and Stella.. They also raise donations and awareness for local animal causes. The wine is very good and continues to improve from year to year. Back in 2015 they made over 200 bottles of wine for our wedding to give as favors. The bottles even included picture specific labeling. They more then delivered to meet the deadline and our quests loved the finished product. The price quotes was also very reasonable. I advise anyone traveling to North Conway to stop in and experience the winary you won't be disappointed, especially if Bryon and Allie are working the counter. read more

The review is more for the customer service and experience than the wine. The wine was very good, some creative choices and we bought several bottles. We had a tasting at $1.00 a taste. The woman at the counter was NOT friendly . Did not greet us or offer any information about the wines we selected. I was tasting 3 wines and she refused to rinse my glass in between despite my asking. I asked if I could have a small amount of water to rinse my mouth between tastings and was told there was " bottled water for sale." I'm sorry, I've been to several places tasting wine and spirits and have NEVER been charged for water . How hard is it to give a customer a Dixie cup of water? We have a condo in the North Conway area and come several times a year . We have always stopped at this winery and spend a $100-300 dollars each time. Sadly, because if this negative experience in which this business illustrated they are all about money and not about service , we will not be back. read more

We were in the area and decided to check it out and grab a nice bottle of wine for our camping trip. Staff wasn't friendly at all, if anything the dog that was there was more welcoming than these two(woman & man). They didn't bother asking if we needed help and continued to speak amongst themselves. After asking them for something specific that would pair well with strawberries, they poured us a small tasting of wine and we were honestly sold on it for a bit until we decided to go walk around town some more and possibly come back. To our surprise they stopped us while walking out and said"you have to pay for the tasting"? "It's $1". I didn't have cash on me so I handed her my card which she happily charged. I'm sure your monthly third party debit fees are worth more than you stopping people to charge them a buck. Really guys? I'm not stressing about a dollar tasting, but if your going to pour a tasting to your customers, at least tell them or advise them of the fee before taking it upon yourself to do so. This could legally become a problem for you all one day. Full disclosure is always a good practice. Will not be back unless they change their service and become much more customer friendly. read more

This winery just purchases grape juice from vineyards around the world and makes their wine in the shop. Consequently it is not wine made from actual pressed grapes and has not had contact with skins or matured in oak barrels. Constantly, there's not a lot of complexity to these wines so if you are expecting that, you will be disappointed. read more

Me and my boyfriend are visiting from Massachusetts and this place was great. I was nervous to come after reading a few reviews saying that the staff was rude, but they definitely weren't rude at all. They were super down-to-earth, had 3 awesome dogs there, and were really friendly. If certain language offends you, then you might be bothered by how chill they are. The wines were good - they had a ton of fruit flavors, 4 whites, and 2 reds available, all besides the bourbon and dessert wines. Best part is all tips are donated to a local dog shelter. read more

Incredibly surprised at how much we loved this little winery and the products they have! This past weekend we stopped in at this winery while spending the weekend in North Conway. We weren't expecting to find much when we walked in, but the moment we walked in the door and we're greeted by the polite staff (and dogs) we knew we were dead wrong. We ended up trying a few different types of wine (1st was free and a dollar a tasting after). I tried the strawberry melon was well as the apricot peach which were both incredible. We ended up buying a bottle of strawberry melon for the road with the plan to come back in the future and stock up. In the end, we loved this little shop and we would encourage all visitors to stop in if in the area! read more

This place was so much fun. They don't grow their own grapes but they make a lot of different variety in their wines. We started with just 3 samples and ended up trying and buying almost the entire menu. The wine was Soo good. I don't think my husband and I agree on good wine as often as we did here. Plus they have adorable dogs there and the owners where very friendly. My only regret was finding out I was pregnant after we arrived back home because I haven't been able to enjoy the wine again. I've read thru a couple of the reviews and my experience was anything but the negative reviews. we were greeted promptly as soon as we went in and had a great discussion with what I presume was the owner. She listened to us, did multiple pours based on what we told her we liked and described the history behind her winery. She shared some of the names of the wine and how they were named after her grandparents and even shared the origin of the pictures. Another staff member was around and spoke kindly to us too. The puppies were asleep when we walked in but woke up halfway thru oue time there and they were super friendly and cuddly. They have some merchandise for sale and I ended up buying a tshirt. I really really liked their dessert wine and regret not buying a bottle of the chocolate coconut wine. I wish I had such a friendly, delicious family oriented winery in my area to go to! read more

Stopped by this weekend while we were vacationing. We were glad that we were here on a weekend this time, our last visit was mid-week and they were closed. We love wineries, and have visited many. We definitely know what we like and don't like in a winery. This place had all the things we love! We were greeted by the owners upon entering. There were a few people tasting already, but we were welcomed as soon as we got there. We took a little look around, love that they have the wines they are fermenting right out where you can see them! Dogs! They have dogs! Adorable, but not obtrusive. They keep to themselves unless you make it obvious to them that you want to give them attention. The wines: First of all, you can taste as many as you want, they charge by the taste, which I think is great!!!! Their fruit wines are really good.... crisp and not syrupy sweet. The prices are comparable to what we see at other wineries. The dessert wines and ports are a bit pricey, but we expected that. We left with 5 bottles! We were looking for something fun to do before checking into our hotel in the area and found the Winery to be a perfect distraction. We bellied up to the small shop bar and received our complimentary wine samples, then happily prepared to shell out more to taste nearly everything on the menu. Typically fans of a nice smoky cab, we really enjoyed the Bella Bianco (a fascinating spicy/peppery white) and the Rossa Grande (a red blend, also peppery). The maple syrup ice wine was interesting and fun, though very, very sweet. We ended up buying several (moderately priced) bottles, which made our tastings free--a nice, though not wholly unexpected, surprise. My only complaint would be that several of the wines were not available to taste, and a few were sold out. But we still managed to get a nice, warm buzz on. read more

This is a great stop if you are in the center on North Conway, NH!! I went in with my husband and we left with 6 bottles of wine! I enjoyed sampling 8 different wines. We tried a variety of fruity and red wines! They make all their own wines and are very knowledgable. I loved the pomegranate Zinfandel, wildberry Shiraz, and the Australian cab sauvignon. They are great and offer personalized label for wedding or other gifts and are a please to deal with! When i am back up there I will definately be returning....taking home a case! read more

Nestled in the little shops of North Conway is the White Mountain Winery. We stumbled on this place the first weekend they had opened and had the opportunity to meet one of the owners, Ali, and the 'mascot', Doc. Both were great. Ali knows her stuff and was a delight. What started as a quick peak ended up with us there for an hour or so, just swapping stories, tasting wine, and making friends. They also do special orders with custom labels for big orders. We used them for our wedding and my wife was very happy with the results. read more
