The staff is friendly, the cheese board is so fresh and the wines are delicious. My go to place every time I am in the area.

Good experience, great location, service and people were great, wine was so-so. Wish we had a wine slushy instead

We had the most wonderful Easter Brunch at Gilmanton Winery and Restaurant! Everything from start…read moreto finish was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor and the menu offered a great variety that made it hard to choose just one thing. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a New Hampshire winery quaint, cozy, and incredibly inviting. It felt both special and relaxed, making it the perfect setting for a holiday brunch. The staff was welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling rushed. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. We'll definitely be back highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming spot with amazing food and a warm, welcoming vibe!

We were driving up to Laconia when I saw a random sign for this place…read more We arrived for brunch on Sunday around noon and the kitchen was backed up due to some larger parties so we waited for a little at the bar. The bartender and owner, Rick, told us their story and how they had actually just begun doing food and brunch-- what a coincidence we had just seen the sign during our drive! The drinks were great and the conversation even better. We were seated 15ish minutes later on the porch. The wait staff were so pleasant, and the menu is reasonably priced and diverse enough that it doesn't just feel like normal breakfast food. I had the sausage gravy on the biscuit and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend enjoyed the ricotta eggs and a side of bacon that was wonderfully sweet and smokey. We were so excited to have stumbled into this place due to a random little state sign, and our only complaint is that it isn't closer to where we live! TLDR: a must visit if you're anywhere in the area!

Whiteface Hollow - Inside as the evening went on

The most STUNNING wedding venue! My cousin got married here this summer and it was so perfect…read more There was a seperate barn on the property where the night before was held. There was a bar, we did trivia, and not to mention the jaw dropping views of the mountains in the distance. Super homey and warm vibe to everything here. The main barn was used for the actual wedding reception itself (DJ booth, long tables, an upstairs area overlooking, and massive barn doors that open out to the stunning view). Couldn't suggest this venue more!!

----- Concise Review…read more Wonderful wedding + reception ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family and fun. Our niece and (now) nephew selected whiteface hollow for the wedding and reception. whiteface hollow - a fantastic barn + house + winery in South Tamworth, NH. The wedding ceremony was outside, in the field, under a large maple tree, and the reception was in the barn. The property has parking in an open space amid trees... the sky is visible but the trees also provide shading to keep the intense heat off the vehicles. The property has a gentle hillside, leading to the grape vines, with a beautiful view of the White Mountains off in the distance... the view was beautiful in the afternoon and phenomenal with that night's sunset! The owner shared that the barn is original wood - interior... the floors and walls are new boards created when they brought a saw mill onsite to cut the wood from trees on the property. The barn had plenty of room for the 18 tables for guests + a dance floor for all of us.. with space for food, and the bar downstairs, and two spaces upstairs (no walls, but balcony rails). Speaking of the bar... they served inside and also through a window to the outside... the blueberry lemonade is very tasty! The winery isn't producing yet but the building is there, and we enjoyed brunch the next morning - nice! And the painting of the property over the bar is wonderful artwork. The owner and her crew were great... so helpful; we were guests so we didn't have the stress, but we could see things were well planned and executed smoothly. Thank you, whiteface hollow, for such a wonderful wedding + reception for our niece and nephew! ----- ----- -----
