Mead cocktail

Great little spot in the sleepy town of Center Ossipee. Craft mead, beers on tap and a limited food menu but still a great place to spend the afternoon. Sipping mead and playing games in a warm hygge kind of place with pleasant service - what's not to love? Note if you don't like sweet, stick to the beers.

Awesome little spot to check out if you are into the brewery/winery/meadery scene. I've picked up bottles of their Sugar Maple whenever I see it in stores back in MA - but let me tell you, nothing is better then drinking directly at the source! My girlfriend and I got two mead flights, and a the Jalapeño Face Mead-A-Rita, all of which was totally delicious. I'd highly recommend the Honeyberry Mead, Raspberry Jam Sesh Mead, and of course the Jalapeño Face! They have some light lunch options too, we ordered a cheese board, which was a great light snack.

A flight of 4 different meads. Very worthwhile, and helpful in deciding what bottle(s) to buy and take home.

If you never had mead -- or great mead -- you should come to this place. I love the taster serving, which is great for deciding what bottle to buy. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit rustic, and the staff are quite friendly. It's in a sleepy little town and not (yet) a whole lot going, but absolutely worth the trip. Join their club and they'll send you discounted bottles in the mail!

TAMMY FREAKIN ROCKS! This is a must visit spot every trip we make to Lake Ossippee. Snackies are always delicious and prepared with care, just like the mead!

Absolutely loved this place! Would highly recommend. My family was vacationing in North Conway for the weekend. We had stopped at Zebs store browsing around, we stumbled upon Sap House Meadery products. They had the last "one of these days" aged mead in old bourbon barrels and some lady had got her hands on it before us. Thankfully, the store manager informed us they we located 45 mins away. We decided to go there for a late lunch on out way home. It was a cute little rustic place, the service was great and amazing food!

Sap House Meadery is located in a storefront near an old train station.

We came upon this place when leaf peeping a few weeks ago and it was amazing. Probably some of the best mead out there.

Awesome place to stop on our way up to the white mountains. The maple Mead was delicious and the chickpea taco was perfect .

We found Will to be an excellent bartender as well as friendly and pleasant! People make every business, and she does Hobbs well! I really do enjoy their Caesar salad, adding salmon. The salmon is usually extremely delicious and these two visits they were the same; however, our most recent visit the blackening seasoning was very heavy. I did not mind it and found it to be deliciously yummy! My wife enjoyed her Southwest, egg rolls and small Caesar salad as well! Though it's a bit of a drive from where we are staying, it is well worth the trip! Unfortunately, this will probably be our last visit during our annual sojourn to this area. We're looking forward to visiting again next year!

I tried the Pumpkin brew cocktail which was really tasty. We shared the maple whiskey chicken tenders and they were so delicious. He ordered steak tips with garlic mashed and green beans and I ordered a cheeseburger with French fries. Both were cooked perfectly as requested, we really enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was really comfortable and our server Kelly was very friendly and so helpful with the menu as well as the details about the brewery and the restaurant upstairs as well (we were trying to figure out what was up there as we sat and enjoyed our Meal). I joined their rewards program before we left because I know we will return. We look forward to next visit that is for sure. Thanks!

We were spending a long weekend in the area and, as we tend to do whenever we travel, started…read morelooking for places to sample local drinks. We normally go brewery hopping, but if the town we're staying in has a winery, we make a point of stopping there too. So we ended up here for one very specific reason: we wanted to sit down, relax and try a couple of wine flights. We didn't do the tour and we didn't order food, so those aren't things I can personally comment on, but the wine experience alone was excellent. I did the white wine flight and my wife went with the red, and we were both genuinely impressed. Neither of us likes wine that is overly sweet or syrupy, and these were exactly what we were looking for. The wines had much more depth and character than I expected, with robust flavors that made the flights fun to work through rather than simply tasting like different versions of the same thing. My favorite was the House White Reserve. I could have happily sat there with a glass of that for the rest of the afternoon. The service was probably the biggest surprise. Our server took the time to explain the wines and answer our questions without making the experience feel overly formal or pretentious. That's important with a tasting. I want someone who knows what they're talking about, but I don't want to feel like I'm taking an exam before I'm allowed to enjoy my glass. We were made to feel completely comfortable, and even though we ended up staying later than we originally intended, nobody rushed us out the door. We sat outside on the front patio, which made the whole afternoon even better. There was live entertainment while we were there, with a gentleman playing guitar and singing, and it created exactly the sort of relaxed atmosphere you hope to find when you're away for a long weekend. Good wine, comfortable outdoor seating, live music and nowhere we particularly needed to be. That's a pretty good combination. Our only real regret is that we didn't order food. We've heard a lot of good things about the eatery, and after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen while we were there, I definitely wish we'd planned for a meal. We were focused on the wine flights that day, but next time we're coming back with our appetites as well. I really enjoyed this stop. The wine was excellent, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like exactly what a winery visit should be. If you're in the area and enjoy wine, I'd definitely recommend stopping in and trying a flight. We'll be back, and next time we're staying for dinner too.

But as a casual wine drinker, I really liked this place. We didn't order any of the food, but I did try a flight of their reds, all made not with grapes but a variety of local berries. I didn't get to sample any of their meads, but it's cool that they have them on the menu. We drank our wine outside on the lovely front patio, but they also have indoor seating both on the first floor as well as on the second floor where there was a musician performing. Good atmosphere, nice people working there, definitely worth a visit when you're in town.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, a peaceful countryside atmosphere, and a quiet, serene setting that made for a truly relaxing evening. Before our reservation, we stopped in the barn next door for drinks. It was such a fun experience! They had a fantastic selection of meads, live music with a talented duo playing '90s rock hits, and even a nice selection of branded merchandise available for purchase. The weather couldn't have been better, and the food was outstanding. We both ordered the baked haddock, and it was absolutely delicious- perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. We also highly recommend the Razz "What She Said" draft and the Mango Unchained sour draft, both were refreshing, flavorful, and incredibly tasty. A special thank you to our server, Grace, who made our evening even more enjoyable.
