The two female bartenders were just flawless. Fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their brews are superb, especially the Social Outcast NEIPA - one of the best ever tasted. Our bar tender said that it is also their most popular. The Sole Searcher IPA was also superb, and so was the Little Miss Sunshine. I also tried their Dump Run, a Maple Brown Ale and their Cosmic Drift. Food wise, Sole Track rocks. Their menu even has Puerto Rican specialties with plátanos and the Arroz con Habichuelas, a bean and vegetable stew. Nowhere else in the North Country have I seen that. As well, Trinidadian curry garbanzos and cucumber are on the menu. For the meat eater, Carnitas tacos and Barbecue Pork sandwiches are also available. The ambiance was diverse, with cars of every US state and several Canadian provinces dotting the parking lot. cheerfulness and a festive air prevailed. Excellent quality, superb ambiance.

A bratwurst wrapped in pizza dough with sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing. SO GOOD! Fast forward to a week later. I brought the grandson there and we shared te Witches Warts (cheese curds) and they were awesome. The staff, as before, was more than friendly! I cannot recommend this place enough. Overall a superb time with wonderful people and great beer and superb food from across the street.... The only warning about the area is the parking situation. As the area (which used to be a blighted warehouse and industrial area) has become gentrified and dotted with apartments, the nearby Northern Stage Theatre, and numerous restaurants, parking has become an issue and customers should either arrive early or realize they may have to park several blocks away. But that only shows just how popular this area has become and part of it is River Roost's doing. Great place!!!!!

I wonder how many people don't check their credit card charges just to have this place skimming money from their tabs?
