After deep frying, the grease was engrained in the breading and all over the plate. It was not well drained. I ate three bites and called it! I could not eat any more. No one checked to see how the meals were until the plates were cleared. In summary, there was more wrong than was right, but there were some positives on the Cubano and fresh Romaine.

Still, six runs in that temperature with a stiff wind took the energy out of me. That's when the Backcountry Bar and Grill came through with a superb Irish Coffee that allowed me to be back after thawing out, with new energy and desire to ski. We then came over here for an early Apre Ski. Five people had superb brews, superb Ultimate Grilled Cheese, awesome Chicken Sandwich. And a Backcountry Pulled Pork with an Apple bourbon barbecue sauce that had me licking my fingers. The bartender was the best I've seen in New England.
