We arrived skeptical, but left knowing we found THE SPOT for an affordable and delicious breakfast. I HIGHLY recommend the homegrIt was a perfect find for a rainy Sunday morning. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely return.

I've never had simple and classic breakfast foods done so perfectly! Food: We ordered the corned beef hash omelette and the blueberry pancakes and each bite told us the kitchen had some griddle masters. The most outstanding thing about the meal was how fluffy and perfectly cooked the items were. The omelette was glistening with a fluffy interior stuffed with the mouth watering corned beef hash, while the pancakes were so fluffy they would probably bounce. Even the toast and home fries had a perfect crunchy exterior surrounding the fluffy inside. Service: We were shocked with how fast we were sat and waited on. We were easy in and out under 30 minutes with barely any wait time with the speedy kitchen. Atmosphere: This classic train car diner was well taken care of and looks super clean, which is amazing with the amount of foot traffic the small diner had.

We were staying at White Mountain Motel and Cottages and before heading to Mt Washington, we were searching place for breakfast, little did we know, it was just near the hotel. Small-cute diner, river (or creek) flowing backside, the previous night, there was a storm and ofcourse due to old, outside sitting was closed. We got our table inside and the server was quick to get our order. We ordered coffee and Veggie Omelet with wheat bread (Onion-tomato-pepper-spinach) Florentine Omelet (Spinach -feta cheese & homemade fries) and french toast with cream home made fries- it was a bit hard - other than that you wanna come here for splendid breakfast. I talked to them, got some insightful tips and proceeded to our destination Mt Washington summit- here we come!

We were on the way back from Flume Gorge and unexpectedly stopped at this diner. It doesn't show up in maps too well but is a hidden gem! Genuinely some of the best diner food we have had in a while. They serve breakfast all day and their pancakes/french toast are to die for!

This is a real diner!!! While we were vacationing in the White Mts. my SIL spotted this diner and wanted to try it. I quickly got on Yelp to check out what people were saying about it and we were good to go!!! We stopped in on a Friday morning and we were disappointed to see so so many cars parked in and around the diner. We parked up the road and walked to the diner figuring we would have quite a wait, BUT there were seats available!!!! There was 7 of us going out for breakfast and they had 7 seats at the counter!!! Yay!!! We all ordered our breakfasts and our server passed out crayons to the kids so they could color while we waited for breakfast. When our breakfasts came my grandson who had ordered home fries was disappointed that they had paprika on them (I love paprika!!), but our lovely server brought him back a new order that didn't have paprika on them (yay, saved the day). This was a real diner experience, the food was delicious (I didn't want to get out of my seat to start taking pictures of everyone's food, but I saw some steak and eggs and waffles!). Our server was amazing and made sure our coffee cups stayed full. We'll definitely stop in again on another visit!!

The food and service here in unbelievable, it's a true hidden gem. I've been visiting the Lincoln/ Woodstock area since I was a little kid and just recently discovered this diner. Every meal that I've gotten here has been 10/10. My family and I make it a point to stop in every time we visit, can't wait to come back!

Such a charming little diner. Arnold's serves classic American diner food. Everything was delicious. We actually went back the next day for more! I also tried the homemade corn beef hash which was so delicious! We visited on the weekend and it was packed! With a 20 min wait. When we came back on a Monday, there was no wait. The servers are nice and the food came out quickly. They even had mimosas!

    "Stuffed French toast"
    Bill L.

Unfortunately the food was disappointing to say the least. The western omelet had potential if they had cooked it all the way through and the egg was not still wet and runny inside. The "stuffed French toast" was the most disappointing part of the meal. It was 2 pieces of French toast with a hard slab of cream cheese on the middle and a couple slices of strawberry. Maybe putting the cream cheese in the mixer with some vanilla and a little sugar or something to smooth is out and whip it up a bit?? The service however was great. The guy out front was super friendly and did a great job interacting with the customers. The place is small and has the old 50s diner feel to it. They could definitely do some mowing and weed whacking out side where people can sit and clean up a bit but it's also still early in the tourist season so that may be why it's not looking too great on the outside at the moment.

Good food and service was great at this small family owned diner. Prices are reasonable especially in this day and age.

Great place, good food, so you know the address is 98, not 93. Try the pancakes if you like them thin like I do.

I was excited to try El Charro having looked at the menu on a previous trip. The interior is large,…read moreand for some reason has arcade games and pool tables. The service is very friendly and fast, but I'm not 100% sure of the veracity of their suggestions after they assured me the pollo campesino was among their favorites. I had the queso fundido and said pollo campesino. The queso tasted purely like white Velveeta, nothing more. It came with no accompaniments, but there were table chips i could dip in it. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The pollo campesino was nothing I've ever seen in Mexican cooking in my life. Chicken with a cream sauce and mushrooms? Also, a cream sauce that tasted mass produced and not delectable at all. Suffice to say, I didn't feel the love here, and the cuisine bore little resemblance to Mexican.

My husband and I stopped in, mostly because we were driven by curiosity to see what sort of Mexican…read morefood Lincoln would have to offer. Having tried it, we've concluded it's a decent pitch but nowhere near a home run. Wanting to try as many things as possible, we ordered beef nachos and the 'Mexican combo' - a combination platter that included an enchilada, a chimichanga, and a tostada (along with a side of rice and beans). The combo was a little disappointing. I found it to be a somewhat repetitive iteration of the same three ingredients - tortilla, dry chicken, and cheese. The accompanying rice and beans, too, were underwhelming. We liked the nachos far better, which had a generous amount of well-seasoned beef and thick chips that somehow maintained their crunch under a mountain of cheese. Personally, we found the blanket of cheese to be a little much, but cheese-lovers will have met their match with this order. The highlight of our meal was actually the free chips and salsa. The salsa absolutely slaps, approaching near perfection in texture, spice, and flavor. If we didn't notice the small print on the menu that explains a surcharge for additional refills, we probably would have run up quite the charge on just these. Inside, the restaurant is larger than it looks, and it seems it's got the footprint of two restaurants split by a wall. The first dining room is a little drab and quiet, while the adjoining space is festive with a bar, decorations, and (randomly?) some arcade games. We found no fault with the service, which was prompt, friendly, and efficient.
