A friend recommended this place while we were in a weekend visit here…read more Parking lot was packed on a Friday night but we were seated as soon as we got there. There was live music in the bar but we wanted to sit for dinner so we sat in the dining room. The water was really great. Brought water to us as soon as we sat down and took our drink order. They had an okay selection of beers on draft but nothing that u really loved. Espresso martini that one of us got was good, not great but good. The ahi tuna bowl was amazing. Our son had it and said that everything was great. My wife had the Cape Cod Rueben, which is her favorite go to and said it was phenomenal. Our daughter got the chicken fingers and fries and said the fries were her favorite. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the breast seemed a bit cookie cutter and not really fresh. The apples in my sandwich were more like a jar jam and wasn't very good. The brioche bun was okay but overall the sandwich was a disappointment. I will say the basket of fries was the highlight for my meal. I ordered the key lime pie to go and it wasn't very good. The menu said it was world famous and won competitions but in my travels, this was about a 3 out of 10 of all the key lime pies I have had. Overall, our visit was good and they deserve 5 stars for service. If we ever go back, I will try something different. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Just up the road in Campton, we discovered Covered Bridge Farm Table--and what an amazing place. The food is incredibly fresh and truly farm-to-table. The staff was super friendly, and our waitress was fantastic. We both ordered the clam chowder, which is gluten free and absolutely delicious--exactly what we needed to warm up. We also ordered the Cowboy Chips, and fair warning: they disappear fast. They were amazing, with the smoked Gouda being the perfect finishing touch. Definitely not your average nachos. As an added bonus, the restaurant overlooks a covered bridge and a river, making for a wonderful view while enjoying our afternoon snack. The menu overall looks fantastic, and we'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

I worked with Tiffany, who helped us put together a fantastic menu--and the BBQ was truly some of the best we've ever had. There were 10 of us renting a house in the mountains, and everything was delivered hot, ready to eat, and perfectly timed. Despite an icy driveway and a parked car blocking access, the delivery person walked up and down the driveway three times carrying boxes of food, all with a smile and great attitude. That kind of service really stood out. The amount of food was enormous, the price was very affordable, and every single person loved the meal. Delicious food, wonderful service, and an all-around positive experience. I would absolutely recommend Sunset Grill for any event.

I had the "home run" with brisket, tri-tip, sausage, and burnt ends. I'm from the south and these were right up there with some of the best. Wife had filet mignon (rare). It was a large cut and cooked just right. She loved it. We ate and drank leisurely on the covered deck. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, even checking with the bar and kitchen several times for availability of desired items. If you like a relaxed atmosphere and good eats, I don't think you can go wrong here.
