So glad we found J&J today. We had just left the annual SWAM event. We missed breakfast and needed…read morea "breakfast all day" place and J&J was listed number 1 with 5 stars. Deservedly so, as it's a small quaint diner and very casual. We weren't really in the mood to sit at a restaurant table and order and be waited on. This looked just casual enough. Everything we ordered was delicious and very fresh as pointed out by a previous reviewer. Delicious ingredients and even the small serving of fruit on our plates was incredible. Service was great and the staff behind the counter were very friendly. You seat yourself, order at the counter (the woman behind the counter offered us menus as we walked in), get a number tent to place on your table, get your coffee, then the woman at the counter brings the food to your table. Actually, everyone there was nice. The diner is inside Mr Berry's on the Common in Plymouth. Lots of yummy potential on the menu. My husband ordered the Avocado Toast and I ordered the Hipster. We both had lattes, which were really good from a self-serve coffee machine, but it was really good coffee. While we waited for our food, which came out in about 10 minutes, I heard several people order Roadies. My Hipster consisted of an everything bagel with a fried egg, avocado, spinach and a yummy sauce. Wish the egg had been a little runnier, but it was a good blend and balance of flavors. I also saw a regular who came in (postal worker) who had a pot pie that is, from what I heard everyone at the counter talking about, extremely popular. Apparently there was word that they're taking it off the menu, and two women sitting at the counter were politely "interrogating" the staff as to the truth of this rumor. The owner or head chef was regaling the women with the irony of their hot items being more popular in the summer than in the winter. The pot pie and one of their soups are apparently two items that fit that bill. It made for an interesting conversation! Really cool, casual place. After we ate, we did some perusing of the store side of the establishment. All in all a great experience.

BLT with egg, and it was spot on. Shoutout to Jesse! He was awesome! Friendly, attentive, and made sure my order was just right.

Visited for our first time ever end-Jan 2026 with my wife and two children. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, a breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast wrap. Food was at our table what seemed like instantly...100% of the it was gone within twenty minutes. Everyone wanted to try a bit of what the others were having. Perfect portions and pace of food and drink for a casual Sunday morning heading home from Loon. Just a nice, small, local spot...great breakfast eats and very, very friendly staff. Going to make Colleen's a regular stop during our NH ski season!

The kitchen is visible and new and clean. The waitress was very nice and was prompt with everything. I had the western omlet which was very good. Veggies still crunchy. His breakfast was over easy eggs with ham, and he enjoyed it. Coffee had refills and good. Menu items were good along with the prices. Only suggestion was to have a sampler meal, ie, pancake, eggs, meat, beans and potatoes. Our bill came out to 26.52, very reasonable. They also has specials on the board. What sold me on this diner was an elderly man left his lab in his truck and when cook saw that she cooked bacon for the dog!!! First time seeing that. The waitresscame over several times offering coffee and checking how we were doing. We will be back!!!!

We got the same great service as if they hadn't just had a busy holiday weekend, except they were out if chorizo. We don't eat chorizo anyway, so no matter. I tried something new, the ham, turkey, and cheese sandwich on french toast! Yum!! My daughter got the same and enjoyed it too. We especially loved the deep fried potatoes. My husband got his favorite, corned beef hash. We'll be back!

We were there for the promise of a fantastic breakfast. The menu is manageable, lots of choices~all pitstop themed~ but not so many that it was a chore to choose. I decided on a 3 egg swiss and mushroom omelette. It was explained that toast was extra, which isn't the norm, at least in my experience. But I dove in and ordered Rye. My Son ordered 2eggs over easy, the potatoes (not the deep fried version), bacon, ham, sausage and 2 pancakes. This breakfast seemed to include a toast option, for those who are keeping score. The food was spectacular. Very well done, simply, and with no frills save for a killer playlist that included Bittersweet Symphony. You don't often find yourself sitting at a counter, eating breakfast with special toast and hear The Verve. Worth a mention. The service was crisp, thorough and we did get a lovely smile and thank you as we checked out. But at the end of it all, the food is, or should be the star. And it was.
