I moved back to the Lakes Region about a month ago and was thrilled to see that the craft beer scene has gown. I stumbled upon the Craft Beer Xchange mainly due to its name. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was not busy at all. I bellied up to the bar and was thrilled to see the local selection of draft beer. The bartender was more than friendly and we talked about all of the different beers they had on the menu. He offered samples of anything I wanted and so I opted for a flight. The beer was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the bartender fantastic. I had the "BReuben" for lunch and it was incredible! A bratwurst wrapped in pizza dough with sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing. SO GOOD! Fast forward to a week later. I brought the grandson there and we shared te Witches Warts (cheese curds) and they were awesome. The staff, as before, was more than friendly! I cannot recommend this place enough. Such a great spot! Walking distance from a bunch of different inns in Laconia, great view of Weirs beach. The place has wonky hours so be sure to check online or call ahead. When we went with two kids and two adults, the picnic tables appeared to be busy but there were still a bunch that were open. We went inside and a server said they were no longer seating people which was pretty baffling, but then someone else said they would seat us but it may be a bit until we had service. I understand being short staffed but the latter option was good for us and should have been offered from the start. Great beer menu, we tried a few. Food options weee good too, kind of like bar food. Great location, come for the beers and view! Awesome draft list of a ton of craft beers! As other reviews have said, they're pretty short staffed. There was only one women waiting tables when we visited, which come to find out is the owner! She was so sweet and gave some great recommendations. We came for a beer and snack and our wait wasn't ideal but we were there to hang out anyway. There's only table service, more like a restaurant than a brewery. We ordered the cheese curds which were appropriately named the "witches warts" very cute! They're dog friendly on the patio! Wish they had pricing on their draft list because some beers (like sours or stouts) are more expensive than you'd expect. read more

We ordered our wings crispy and they were cooked perfeI don't know why I ordered "The Brat", but I'm glad I did along with a blueberry beer. Short-staffed, like many places, which made for a long wait for our drinks and even longer wait (an hour) for our taco salad. We only saw 2 waitresses serving all the tables outside. Our waitress was cool and didn't seem frazzled at all. When we finally got our meal, it was served to us like a takeout order. Everything for my taco salad was individually packaged in little plastic containers. Strange. Food was just okay and deserving of only 2 stars. Giving it an extra star for location. Came here on their first opening day! A gorgeous building with a wrap around porch and patio, lawn seating, and indoor seating. Very friendly service and a large selection of New England beers. Husband said the soft pretzels with dipping sauces were good and both of our drinks were excellent! The guacamole with my 'chips and guac' tasted really weird, didn't care for it, but everything else was great. I only wish they had a menu with non-alcoholic drinks and mixed drinks, as they only had a small food menu and a menu of beers. Not great. The name is Witches Brew Pub. It's not a "brew pub."They don't brew anything. Had it been sold as "Witches Brew" Pub I could understand. But it's advertised as Witches "Brew Pub" suggesting that there's some brewing going on, so that was a bad start. Location is the back yard of some old house. Outside seating was dirty wooden picnic tables. Previous party's dinner was still scattered across it. 36 beers on tap. Average selection. No prices on the menu, so be prepared for $9.25 pints of lager. Can only imagine what the DIPAs go for. Ordered an app and 2 pizzas. No kids menu. Service was slow. 2 waitresses for at least a dozen tables. Finished my pint. Still no app. Waitress brought our party of 3 some plates and 2 napkins. Two thirds of a napkin each by my crappy maths. No opportunity to order another pint. Pizzas arrived piping hot about 40 minutes after we ordered. The dough and cook on it was great. Pepperoni was really good. Prosciutto and fig jam was pour. far too sweet. Essentially jam pizza. Not good. Soon after the app arrived. Loaded tots. Cold. Two forks stuffed into the tots between the 3 of us. Two thirds of a fork each to match the napkins. The atmosphere was pretty much non existent as we were on a picnic table on a patch or weeds, 10 or 15 ft from the nearest fellow patrons. Asked for more napkins as 2 between 3 wasn't gonna cut it. Got another 2 about 10 mins later. Got my chance to order a second pint finally. read more

This location is very close to Weirs Beach so we were able to visit after a wonderful trip on the MS Mount Washington. There is plenty of seating inside and out but we choose to sit on the patio to enjoy the beautiful views. Deciding on a beer flight was easy due to the presentation of their beer menu by type. We also ordered a Hawaiian pizza and lobster mac and cheese. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great service, great views and a great meal. read more

Came here when we visited NH for foliage and this place happens to be 5 mins walking distance from our Airbnb. They have pretty good selection of local beers. The food was just ok but they have a great view of you visit during day time. Service is amazingly attentive! read more

Stumbling upon this place was our highlight to NH this past weekend.... awesome vibe, friendly service, clean/covid cautious, great beer AND food. We sat on the balcony and although a bit cold, they put on the heaters for us and it was amazing. The view is also STUNNING. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the area! read more

Really welcoming and friendly spot. Monique greeted us immediately and made it a point to make us feel comfortable with our 1.5 year old. She was attentive and so kind. The food was great and beer selection was awesome. She suggested a sample for my husband before serving the full beer because she knew it was a hit or miss with other customers. There were some mosquitos out and she brought her personal natural bug spray for us to share and really extended herself and didn't have to. The environment was nice on the fall evening! Went yesterday for the first time. Was surprised they had only been open 2 weeks. Everything seemed to run smoothly. We asked if they had space for 6 she told us "absolutely not we are not a big place we cannot accommodate that right now" we asked if we could wait until something became available she told us no and said it "would be awhile" and "we already sat the whole place". She told us to leave told us we couldn't wait for a table and we also couldn't even wait at the bar. she was so off putting and nasty. This is a hidden gem! Service great from when we walked in the door! Beer selection is wide: some unusual and all very tasty. Food was terrific and adult and child friendly.
