While the performer was really good, he had the speakers up pretty loud making it difficult for my husband and I to hear each other and we were sitting side by side. At the time there were only a total of 8 people in the saloon including my husband and I so turning the volume down a tad would've been perfect. We sat at the bar and asked what they had on tap? Unfortunately not a whole lot. We asked if they had a drink menu and they didn't. The food menu was pretty scarce as well. We stayed for a couple beers and decided to venture off somewhere else for some grub. I imagine on a Friday or Saturday night this place would be a blast to hang out at!

Loved all the decor. Looks like it was changed from an auto garage to a saloon. I don't know if it actually was or it's just how they wanted it to look. Ceiling is painted blue with white coulee to mimic the sky. Great music playing. They do live music Friday nights and karaoke other nights. There's a pool table in the back to kill time while you wait for your food. The service was great. There was one girl wrong was hostess, bartender, and waitress in one. I'll assume they are short staffed, she did an amazing job wearing all three hats. Most importantly, the food was great. They have specials which we didn't order. We started with the loaded saloon fries. Shredded cheese, bacon, and ranch. The cheese was melted in between the fries so all the fries were covered. Not like some places that throw it on top. The wings were crispy and delicious. The best part is you are able to order them by the wing. You don't need to order 6 or 10. You can order one of each if you want. They call it Buck-A-Wing. We ordered a few different flavors. My favorite was the sweet Thai chili. Our main meal was the Philly cheese steak with onion rings which we split. The steak was chopped very small. It allowed the cheese to mix in with it and the small peppers. Lots of flavor and very delicious. It is a little small, so I would not suggest splitting it with anyone like I did. Overall a great experience. I wish there were more places like this where I live.

I was so impressed with the quality of the food. At first, we were surprised to hear that they were sold out of several ingredients and they apologized for not being able to serve the dish. Well, my first impression was wrong. The reason for this was because they use FRESH ingredients and sometimes they run out. ??????? Say What ????? In New Hampshire? At a Tavern? Then our server brought us our plates of food which were so delicious, I couldn't believe it. The ingredients were obviously super fresh. No frozen tasteless ingredients and simply the best food I've had in Laconia. Listen up people. Great things take time. I just read some of the comments here and I am surprised to find that many folks are complaining about how long the food takes to cook. Hope that you read this until the end. Give this super cool establishment a chance, maybe even a second chance............A VERY HAPPY NEW CUSTOMER

Driving in I asked my husband I asked what Kettlehead is known for an he said: Beer. Yet somehow, I can't love Kettlehead. A few things occured that damaged the experience: 1. The waitress spilled a sampler all over my wristlet and cell phone. She was oblivious but she has been spilling it the whole walk to the table! She seamed put out i asked of they had bleach wipes as we were in from out of town and i didnt want mty cell phone smelling like beer all weekend. 2. The waitress stated the coin change machine is wonky and they don't own it. The coin machine worked fine but it was the first game we played, Tokyo Drift, that ate our money. I reported it and seamed like the guy didn't care. He didn't offer me a $1 to make up for it nor did he shut down the machine after my report. I feel like if you have it in your place, you should stand behind it. An issue, it should become yours. 3. The pretzels are terrible. They are like sliced and fried with no flavor. They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. My kid was not to happy when she ate mustard! But also, the worst beer cheese we have encountered as well. Her excuse, she has been up since 4am. Well, my husband wasn't wrong. He raved over their beer. Nobody was impressed with their food.

Steve and I had the Triple Agent which is a Triple New England IPA. This beer was enjoyable. Flavor highlights in this one are juicy, citrus and tropical. The beer has a creamy body and gives a soft feel upon your mouth when taking a sip. While this IPA was good it didn't necessarily a beer that got etched into my mind as time passed I still had no complaints with it.
