Absolutely -- here's a stellar, heartfelt Yelp-style review for Lakehouse Grille in Meredith, NH, that highlights your loyalty, the special occasion, and the exceptional hospitality you received: 5 Stars - Hospitality at Its Finest + Fantastic Food! Lakehouse Grille in Meredith has been our family favorite for years, and once again, they've reminded us why we keep coming back. This recent visit was a bit different--we came for lunch instead of our usual dinner, and we were celebrating the life of my mother-in-law who had just passed away. It was a meaningful day for us, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with the kind of warmth and genuine care that makes this place so special. Our server McKenzie was nothing short of extraordinary. She greeted us with kindness and compassion, and her attentiveness throughout the meal truly elevated the experience. She understands hospitality on a deep level. One moment in particular left us speechless--when my husband asked for a cappuccino, she regretfully explained that the restaurant doesn't have an espresso machine (which, side note, they should totally invest in one!). But instead of letting that be the end of it, McKenzie took it upon herself to walk over to the hotel lobby and make an espresso for him. When she returned, proud and smiling, it was a small act that meant the world to us. It's this kind of care and heart that the hospitality industry desperately needs more of. As always, the food was fantastic. We had lobster rolls this time and they were generously portioned, super fresh, and fairly priced--honestly some of the best we've had. For dessert, the crème brûlée was smooth, rich, and the perfect sweet ending. Their wine list is decent too and pairs nicely with the lunch menu. Between the amazing lake views, consistently excellent food, and unmatched hospitality, Lakehouse Grille continues to be a true gem. We're already looking forward to returning in the spring--and truly hope we see McKenzie again. She's a star!

Stopped in for breakfast when we stayed nextdoor. Loved the atmosphere and decor. It has a warm feeling. All the stay were supper friendly. Prices were just right for what you get. Everything was tasty. We loved all our choices. Just being able to have a nice hot breakfast and look out at the lake was a great way to start the day.

Lake side Benedict with lobsters. Yummy

Staffs were very attentive and friendly. Good foods and phenomenal views from the seating area. Definitely go back there again soon. Thank you.

We almost couldn't hear each other across a small table. Decent wine list. They had a Prisoner Chardonnay $14 and Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon $13. I got an Oberon Sauvignon Blanc for $10. The crab cake appetizer for $18 came with two burger-sized crab cakes, a peach salsa that was the star of the show, and a dill remoulade sauce. Enough to share. However, the texture was like moist breadcrumbs, similar to falafel, and we saw no crabmeat. It was seasoned to taste like seafood, but the crab didn't show up to the party. My husband got the Tuscan filet for $43 and said it was tender but not medium rare as he ordered. It was definitely medium. I got the seafood saffron for $32 that came with two medium sized scallops, 3-4 medium shrimp and a few small pieces of lobster. I saw a few shorts threads of saffron but the sauce was sweet! Not coconut sweet, but sugary sweet. I thought it would be sherry based like a light Newburgh sauce, but no. I'm not keen on sweet seafood. I thought a lemon or sherry based light sauce would have complimented the scallops and lobster better. Sorry Breeze kitchen staff. I have to be honest, but hopefully kind. The food was plated beautifully. You set out cloth napkins. But we can't see coming back for a long while. That was our anniversary dinner. $137.91 plus tip. Swing and a miss.

Was told it would be 30 minutes wait but it was more like 10 minutes. Started off with the espresso Martini, the marshmallow cold foam on top was to die for. I literally dug in the jar with my knife to eat it (they build the Martini in front of you). Special app was the curry mussels, these were delicious. Could have done without the roasted red pepper though. We literally we pouring the sauce over bread, our salad, and down our throats. At one point BF looked at me and said would it be trashy if we asked for a straw haha it was that good. He got the bolognese and added the chicken parm chicken to it. It was delicous as is, the chicken parm enhanced it. The meat was so tender and pasta was so fresh and cooked perfectly. Portion was HUGE. I enjoyed his a lot. I had the porchini ravioli with lavender cream sauce. It was good, but definitely for an adventurous eater. There's a lot going on with the carrots, added mushrooms, micro greens, and spinach mixed in, I could have done without the carrots. Sauce was not too flowery tasting, I liked it but at that point I was so full I couldn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked to. Ravoli was good sized, you get 5 big ones. Ceasar salad was decent but I've have better elsewhere. Waitress said dressing was homemade and it had anchovies on it which I love. Wish it came with a lemon wedge. It was a good portion for $8 side salad. They start off the service with bread, olives, cheese, and olive oil. That alone is a fantastic app! Bread service was excellent. There is also cheese and crackers at the front but we did not partake. We got the chocolate cake for dessert. It is literally the same chocolate cake that you can get at cheesecake factory. It was dry but the ganache frosting was fantastic. This was the most lackluster part of the meal. It was such a sad note to end such a good meal on. They end dinner with a complimentary shot of lemoncello and espresso beans which is a really nice touch. Atmosphere- we were seated on the indoor patio next to the windows overlooking the lake. Love the string lights out there. I think the main dining room had a little more to look at but where we were seated it was kind of plain, like it couldn't decide if it was a porch or old Nonna's dining room with the mismatched furniture (which did give it a little charm in a way). Price is in line with what you get. Drinks add up but the crafted cocktails are worth it. One bottle of wine was $40, which arguably was not worth $40 but that's how they get you at restaurants. He had the merlot and said it paired nicely enough with his pasta and chocolate cake. Pros: bread service, attentive server, food is decent, price is adequate for what you get Cons: chocolate cake, atmosphere is meh

It has its charm, but they could really use some fresh paint and some updating, and if they redid the booths, they could certainly fit in way more tables and you'd think make more money. The first day, my omelette was OK, though I have to say I prefer George's Diner next door. But the coffee was hot and the coffee cake muffin that was grilled was phenomenal! We came back the next day because of that muffin. Our second experience was not good at all, and the reason we did not go back again, despite being there for 13 days. Service was absolutely horrible! When we walked in, there were few tables seated. We ordered sunny side up eggs with potatoes (fruit for me) and a coffee cake muffin. It took 25 minutes to get it, and made us late for work. They do not turn over tables quickly here. It's a diner folks, and if you can't get eggs out quickly, how do you make money? It's back to George's for us. I have to say this really pissed us off. They tried to say it was a full restaurant, but when we came in, it was not. We ordered something very simple. My dining partner tips 20 bucks on breakfast, and had done so the day before, so though a different server, you think she'd be aware he's a very good tipper and it's a good idea to take care of him. Of 13 days there, we ate next-door at George's 11. The coffee cake muffin here is good, but when you're on a time crunch and have somewhere to be, choose somewhere else.

I loved everything, but the turkey livers were probably my favorite, only because it's something you never find on a menu anywhere. It's a lot of food. The portions are generous, and by the time you have the carrot relish they serve first and the maple cornbread (both complimentary), which is absolutely delicious, I know I was full every time. Portion sizes are pretty massive. My dining partner got the meatloaf dish. It was absolutely ginormous! We were in an Airbnb without a full kitchen, so though we took it with us, he never did eat it. It was heavily glazed with something he did not like. Had it been glazed with a little lighter hand, he probably would not have minded it. But he did not like that flavor at all. The mac & cheese was good but again heavier than he likes to eat. The seafood dish I had, on the other hand, was very good. It had plenty of pieces of lobster in it, as well as generous portions of shellfish. The broth was also excellent. As this is a pricier place, we only made one trip during our 13-day stay. It is worth a visit here, and you'll likely get enough for a second meal. There were lots of good choices on the menu. I originally thought to give this place 5 stars based on my dish, but due to the fact that my dining partner did not make any effort to eat the rest of his meal he took home because he said he didn't like it enough, that took a star away.
