My dining partner tips 20 bucks on breakfast, and had done so the day before, so though a different server, you think she'd be aware he's a very good tipper and it's a good idea to take care of him. Of 13 days there, we ate next-door at George's 11. The coffee cake muffin here is good, but when you're on a time crunch and have somewhere to be, choose somewhere else.

The picture posted on their website shows six potato tots, yet our serving came with four. It was pleasant and tasty. For my main course, I ordered the Peach Glazed Pork. The dish had a nice presentation. I found the pork to be drier than I would have expected, but it was still edible. I guess I had higher expectations. Despite a few minor disappointments, this is a charming local restaurant that is worth a visit, especially if you're in the area.

They tried to give me those disgusting mashed potatoes and green beans, when the specials page said pilaf and asparagus. When I finally got the rice pilaf, it lacked seasoning. The asparagus were blackened. After being sent back twice, the salmon was warm, not hot. The pub food may be good. If you're looking for a burger and a beer, that meal might be enjoyed with a view of the golf course. Sorry Greenside, we're not coming back.

The final meal came out and the salmon was raw. My guess is they forgot about the salmon and tried to make it quickly. We sent it back and they literally threw it back on the grill but let the side sit. Every dinner was cold and the two steaks were over done and cold. Our waitress, Melinda, never once asked how it was. We again had to ask for another round of drinks which again took an absurd amount of time to come out. Here's the thing normally at this point I would have left but we were there celebrating my birthday and everyone wanted to stay for dessert to celebrate. Dessert was even more disappointing than our main meals. I ordered the cinnamon roll and it tasted store bought and wasn't even warmed up. Our table also ordered the carrot cake (more like half frozen spice cake), the chocolate chip lava cake (no lava), and the triple chocolate cake (meh). Again the waitress never checked in. We finally had enough and when I saw the waitress I gave her a card to run so we could be done I honestly thought it was going to take her forever to bring us the bill and luckily it didn't. $505.65 before tip. $505.65 and the majority of our meal was terrible. $605.65 after tip which was 20% and 100% not deserved. The cherry on top was a manager never came by after we sent raw salmon back and they left it on the bill. Personally I don't care so much about the money but the fact that a manager never came by is mind blowing. That's restaurant 101. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurant that truly started off so good.

While our server did apologize, the service continued to be poor for the rest of the evening. A manager never came to our table to apologize, check on us, or ask what they could do to make the situation right. We also weren't offered to have my dad's forgotten meal comped, despite the significant mistake and inconvenience. Mistakes happen, and we understand that. What matters is how a restaurant responds when they do. Unfortunately, there was very little effort made to acknowledge the issue or recover from it, and that left a much worse impression than the mistake itself. It's a shame because the food was genuinely good, but the lack of customer service and accountability completely overshadowed the meal. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
