    Deviled Eggs

Came to camp with my son for dinner. Service was friendly and prompt. Sadly wanted unsweetened ice tea but they didn't have any. All good. We had the shishito peppers and deviled eggs for appetizers. Liked both of them. Son had chicken fingers and fries and I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. To be honest didn't remind me of Nashville hot at all. And didn't have much kick either. Nashville hot is usually pretty spicy.

4 stars cause the service (John) was fantastic. Atmosphere is fantastic and very casual. You're really immersed in the camp vibe, from the decor to the waiters calling themselves Counselors, and even the music selection is spot on. Apple Cider Marg was good, couldn't tell there was any booze in it. Very sweet. BBQ ribs were good, wish there was more sauce on them or on the side. Ribs were moist and fell off the bone and had the perfect char. Fries were the big double battered ones but came out cold and had little salt on them. Pickles were delicious. Coleslaw was good, not that saucy and perfect tang and crunch and good portion. Baked beans were meh, kinda thick and on the dry side. Ok flavor but I couldn't get past the mouth feel. Corn bread was dry dry dry and tasted like dense flour - no flavor. Fried chicken was heavily battered, I ended up taking a lot of it off. Wish it had more flavoring as a whole dish, it all kind of melded together. Cheese sauce was supposed to be gouda but you could hardly tell, it was ok though. The chive mashed potatoes could have used some garlic or chives, there seemed to be none in there. They almost tasted like instant mashed potatoes. The one random Apple and pepper slice on top kinda threw me off, wasnt sure what their purpose was. The green beans were seasoned and cooked perfectly! Cheesecake was their seasonal flavor, lemon with raspberry drizzle. It was DENSE. Very good and the crust was heavy and amazing. For $10 it was a decent, shareable slice. Waiter, John, was FANTASTIC. He made the dinner. He clearly enjoys his job and talking to people and gave us recs of what to try when we go to their sister restaurant, Lagos this week. He was attentive and offered us biscuits when we sat down (we declined cause we were ordering heavy meals) and said there was a cheese and cracker table at the front and to help ourselves. Overall: good to go with kids or a group. I'd go back if I was in the mood for hearty, home style cooking but this wouldn't be part of my usual rotation. Pros: atmosphere/vibe, service, portion size, good value for what your getting, decor is cool, drink menu is expansive Cons: some food is hit or miss, not much for booth seating, cornbread - that honestly was a crime.

My in-laws live in Meredith and we have been to Camp many times. We've always enjoyed the rustic theme and the service, as well as the comfort food. Tonight however, the experience wasn't great. I have to admit, the restaurant has been going down hill for a few years now and I think this trip will be our last. This area is almost always busy on the weekends, so I will not complain it taking a while to get our food. However, when it did arrive it was cold. Not only that, but my burger was borderline tasteless! To make matters worse, the rum and coke I got was probably the weakest I've ever had. I'm sure this review will go so deaf ears in regard to the owner/upper management as they own just about everything in NH, but I will no longer continue going to a restaurant that keeps raising their prices and lowers their standards.

Burnt lobster dog and burnt shishito peppers

Went to Camp for apps and beers, left pretty disappointed. Ordered the shishito peppers and Lobster corn dog. The lobster corn dog came out very burnt and the shishito peppers came out raw. A manager checked on our table and offered to cook the shishito peppers as he noticed they were under cooked. The peppers came back to our table cooked more however they were dripping in oil and lacked any flavor. The lobster corn dog was so burnt it was bitter. Other than the food the beers were great, service was good and the manager was nice.

Great place! The theme is awesome and there's so much attention to detail. Even the waiters are your "counselors". Service was amazing by the way, knew the menu very well. As for the food, just delicious. The savory biscuits were light and delicious, and the camp crackers are a favorite for a reason. I had the pot roast, and it was tender with great flavor. Check this place out!

1st off, letting us free to get our own slices of block cheese and crackers is dangerous because we went back again and again. Almost getting full off of that because it was so dang good. Mild yet somewhat buttery type of cheese with great table crackers. Instantly hooked. Ambiance was great with fun decor and even a fireplace. The place was separated into different quadrants and had to walk around to see all the decorations. The haddock with the crumbles was excellent and even the sides. Ribs were okay but better to try other things. Someone had what looked like a hot skillet with fajitas on it but didn't see that on the menu anywhere. I thoroughly enjoyed the puffed s'mores with all the traditional ingredients like the Hershey's chocolate and graham crackers. Service was good enough to go back. They were busy and got even busier when there. Bathroom is in an odd place, up front by everything and only a 1 person type of stall.

I 100% recommend camp to everyone. The atmosphere here is so much fun and relaxing and they offer you cheese and crackers to start which were yummy. Every single staff member was so hospitable and attentive even the manager on duty stopped by to greet us and make sure everything was okay. The food was the cherry on top everything was delicious and I will be stopping by again next time i'm in the area. Thank you camp for a wonderful evening!!

We sat at the bar and had drinks and an app. The bartenders were very friendly and the whole vibe of the place was cozy and fun. Get the deviled eggs! Perfect bite!!

Camp is a rustic themed restaurant that serves comfort foods such as chicken pot pie and pot roast. The staff is friendly and they have a decent selection of local brewed beer and wine. Food was good with large serving sizes.

Was in Meredith NH for a two night stay. Didn't realize it but most restaurant in the waterfront Meredith area are owned by Common Man. The first night went to Camp as we got in late and just wanted to walk somewhere. So, we went to Camp. Sat down and our server got out drinks. Meanwhile we looked over the menu. We both decided on Chicken Pot Pie. We got a family style salad. Our drinks came and My Cosmo tasted like straight Vodka. I asked my daughter who had been a bartender for years to taste it and she said yuk. I asked that the server take it back and I got a tropical drink which was much better. The Bruschetta came and was not very inspiring. Basically, tomato with some sprinkled cheese. Our salad came and was delicious. The Balsamic salad dressing was super delicious. You can also get a refill on the salad. You can help yourself to cheese and crackers. The cheddar cheese was super delicious...very crumbly. The server brought fresh biscuits that were the softest most delicious biscuits I've ever had. The chicken pot pies came and were topped with a biscuit crust. The filling was very good except I didn't realize the mashed potato was on the bottom of the pot pie. It was very good.

I'd never been here but we were passing through town and stopped for early dinner and did not regret it. We sat at the bar and had amazing, fast, and friendly service. Our drinks were delicious and the food was amazing! The appetizer was great and something I wouldn't have thought of but so yummy-A Walk in the Woods- yummy vegetables with cheese on a skillet- delicious!!!! I had the steak tips on a pile of sweet potatoes and kielbasa and WOW- I don't get steak tips everywhere and I am kinda picky about them and these did not disappoint- So GOOD!!!

This is a lovely restaurant that sits alongside Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are a number of seating choices including bar, high top and conventional tables, many with views of the lake. This time of the year, the views of the snow-covered frozen lake are gorgeous. I wish I could say the same thing about our dinner, which frankly was a disappointment. The menu includes a good variety of starters, appetizers, salads, handhelds, and entrees. Two of us ordered the Flat Iron Steak. I realize this is usually a chewier cut of meat, but this was so tough it was inedible. Our server and the manager both could not have been nicer in terms of how they handled this as I returned mine and was quickly brought a different dinner- a French Dip sandwich. This was tasty but there was more bread than roast beef. The other person chose to keep her flat iron streak, but I could tell it was very difficult to cut and chew. Another ordered the Chicken Milanese Salad which included arugula, peppers, roasted tomatoes and olives in a balsamic dressing. The Parmesan crusted pan fried chicken came over-done but that meal was well-liked. The service and the ambiance were stellar.

Lakehouse Grille in Meredith has been our family favorite for years, and once again, they've reminded us why we keep coming back. This recent visit was a bit different--we came for lunch instead of our usual dinner, and we were celebrating the life of my mother-in-law who had just passed away. It was a meaningful day for us, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with the kind of warmth and genuine care that makes this place so special. Our server McKenzie was nothing short of extraordinary. She greeted us with kindness and compassion, and her attentiveness throughout the meal truly elevated the experience. She understands hospitality on a deep level. One moment in particular left us speechless--when my husband asked for a cappuccino, she regretfully explained that the restaurant doesn't have an espresso machine (which, side note, they should totally invest in one!). But instead of letting that be the end of it, McKenzie took it upon herself to walk over to the hotel lobby and make an espresso for him. When she returned, proud and smiling, it was a small act that meant the world to us. It's this kind of care and heart that the hospitality industry desperately needs more of. As always, the food was fantastic. We had lobster rolls this time and they were generously portioned, super fresh, and fairly priced--honestly some of the best we've had. For dessert, the crème brûlée was smooth, rich, and the perfect sweet ending. Their wine list is decent too and pairs nicely with the lunch menu. Between the amazing lake views, consistently excellent food, and unmatched hospitality, Lakehouse Grille continues to be a true gem. We're already looking forward to returning in the spring--and truly hope we see McKenzie again. She's a star!

A look at the menu and you get the sense they are trying to appeal to a very broad variety of tastes. Also makes you wonder if they can they pull off everything? For the most part. Ordered the Ruby Red Tini which was pretty good though it would have been better with fresh jalapeño. The brine from pickled jalapeño took away from the grapefruit. I didn't hate it. Italian wedding soup was good if from a can. French onion soup was good. Dinner rolls (not complementary) were good. Wedge salad was on point. Prime rib was cooked to order, nice thick cut, drowning in au jus which flooded the plate. I didn't care for the canned beets which were just ok, the loaded baked potato was overcooked, fries were good. Service was very good. Worth a visit at least once when in Moultonborough.
