Bad photo of yummy meal (poutine & cornbread)
    Mackenzie T.

Ok we went on a Saturday during a school break so yeah.. we waited about an hour... but it was worth it. There's a reason everyone was waiting. We just got two appetizers and couldn't even get dessert bc of how full we were. The cornbread is so delicious and I don't even like cornbread. A must have- perfect to share with the table. And the poutine was the best poutine I've had (.... I've not had much to be honest but still). I loved the short rib in it and the gravy was cream gravy so it's a unique take. We got a seat at the bar so the service was less than ideal but we were just happy to get a seat. I agree w most other people- it's a go to restaurant when you're in the area

Mac n cheese with beef brisket melts in your mouth!! I love this dish in winter to warm up, & with a glass of Cabernet

Good pub food, you know by the local crowd waiting here at 6 pm on Friday night. A nice regular patron waiting near us recommended the Mac & cheese, fish & chips or burgers. Luckily the host was very friendly and the seating moved along in a timely manner. We were placed at a busy bar, not the most relaxing but sports fans may enjoy the tv's. I had a small watery, low -on- onion soup with lots of floating bread cubes in a tiny bowl, the size of cup, added a side of toasted bread, fully greased, helped to spread the melted cheddar around... I don't really recommend this onion soup. We split the big portion of creamy Mac n cheese with pot roast on top, it was hearty like grandmas Sunday dinners. Mac n cheese Pot roast was comfort on a cold winters night.

Saturday Night TakeOut, Giant Prime Rib and a ShortRib Marsala, Prime Rib was fantastic, although the 15 minute travel left the meat on the cool side. The Short Rib Marsala was delicious portions were great! My one ask is that the Management try to eat that Prime Rib with the plastic utensils provided, I bet you have better ones next time.. perhaps have some sturdier utensils just for that, that fork broke on bite #1 Great dinner we will be back whenever we are up this way! Thank You

YOU NEED TO COME HERE. Hands down the best brewery in all of the white mountains. Live music, huge seating area, indoor and outdoor seating, beautiful interior/exterior, wonderful service, and just a bunch of awesome people. It's also very kid friendly. Our 2 and 4 year old had the best time dancing to the live music. They also liked to play out in the snow! The beers - so so good and lots of options for beers and ciders. They offer pick-your-own flights as well, which is a great way to try many different types of beers. Food - out of this world good. Try any of the pizzas! Also the salads are huge and so yummy - could definitely split with 2-3 people as an app. Can't wait to come back!

Perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and the combo of the seafood with the burger just worked way better than I expected. The whole vibe in here feels local and comfortable, like the kind of spot you stumble into once and immediately want to come back to. Service was quick and friendly too. If you're anywhere near the area, this place is 100% worth stopping in for--especially that Surf & Turf Burger. I'd go back just for that alone.

As a nice joke on the name, there is a small hole in the wall that is enclosed that you can see from the outside. The walls are filled with old decorations, TVs, Conway signs and decor. The food was overall good. We started with the Thai salad. It was enormous and comes with pepper, sunflower seeds, cranberry, sunflower seed dried, almonds, and more. This salad was so good that we got it to go the next day! For entrees we got the Texas Tornado sandwich (boneless chicken breast with bacon) and the Surf and Turf Burger. The chicken wasn't dry and the sweet potato fries ($2 upcharge) were good. For the surf and turf, I didn't feel like the lobster blended well with the burger so I took it off and ate it separately. The French fries were finger licking good! Our waitress was really nice and friendly and make some good conversation and recommendations. The wait time for our entrees was a little slow.

Overall I found the entire experience to be lackluster compared to how it was in previous years. The first thing we saw when we arrived was the hostess and I was shocked by her outfit. Her dress was far too short and not appropriate at all for a holiday or the level of upscale dining we were paying for. We were seated immediately but then service dragged. We got bread long before our drinks. Our first course came quickly but the soups were lukewarm at best. I had the apple salad and found it to be extremely refreshing and not at all what I expected but in a good way! The star of the meal was dinner, however, they gave me the wrong side. The waiter did quickly remedy the situation but again for this level of dining I expected better. The prime rib was absolutely out of this world. The herb crust was amazing. However I was quite disappointed with the presentation it was dropped on top of the mashed potatoes and bled over everything. My mother had the thanksgiving dinner and she loved it. She especially liked the sausage stuffing which is not something she would normally eat and was impressed by it. The desserts were average and to be honest I again expected better. For three people we paid about $450. If I am spending that much money on dinner I want to be floored by the entire experience and I just wasn't. If I'm being completely honest the prime rib saved this review. So I hope the chefs get credit for it!!

Over the years staff has come and gone (save for a few who return every year faithfully, and it is always a joy to see them again), but Vito's recipes are pretty steadfast. His bolognese has been my standard for decades. Once upon a time, he had the best salad dressing I'd ever had. It has changed a bit with time but still pretty incredible. The staff is not quite what it used to be - possibly due to times changing, or possibly due to my being a bit older and more cranky - but the food is always outstanding.

Seating is a little tight at these tables. There are booths and lower tables but you need to take what's available if you want to eat here. Believe me, you do want to eat here! We were served delicious Italian bread with delicious garlic, balsamic, cheese & rosemary dipping sauce. We were then served with salads with their own dressing. It was really good. We ordered toasted ravioli in a marinara sauce and two baseball sized meatballs. Both delicious. Then my honey got veal parmigiana, I got Chicken, Broccoli and Ziti in a white cheese sauce, and my sister got Chicken Marsala. We were very impressed with the portions and taste of all of these dishes. It was surprising to find such fine dining down a side street in North Conway near Zebs Country store. There is plenty of parking, a full bar, plenty of wines to choose from and handicap accessible. We rated this a 10 out of 10. We didn't have dessert as it was me and my twins Birthday. But, they sure looked delicious. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will try a dessert.

We booked the "red room" for a party of 10 patrons which we scheduled far in advance. The people that were in the room before us ran over on their time, so we had to wait about 18 minutes after our reservation. The room is pretty cramped due to the length of the table, but it was cute and cozy. The max amount of people is 12 in this room. I had the taste of Ireland, which gives you three dishes in sample size: shepherds pie, beef stew & chicken pot pie. For $19.00 (kind of steep) it was okay. You can tell that there's a lot of pride, and it has a "just like mama used to make" method of cooking. Seems like they take a lot of pride in all of their dishes. It seems that everybody truly enjoyed their dishes, even the ones that had salad. Again, it was really nice that we were able to have our very own room. I would certainly come back and have the corned beef and cabbage meal; that's what my mother had and she said it was great. The only negative thing I would say is that our waitress seemed like she was a bit annoyed, having to wait on a large group and we needed to split our checks. Other than that I felt that our service was sufficient.
