We recently used the company for a shuttle service to the airport. We were on time and there was very light traffic to the airport. Shortly after the drop off, the company start sending various communications regarding paying a tip, maybe 10 messages. We tipped at drop off cash. A week later, in the middle of our vacation, 24/7 added a $40 surcharge to our $120 fare; claiming the ride took 20 minutes longer. As I mentioned, we got to the airport very quickly. The driver never mentioned delays. The company sent multiple texts & emails asking for a tip and never mentioned any surcharge; until a week later. Complete red flag. This company seems like a scam, so we canceled our return pickup, a week from now and then 24/7 added a 50% cancelation charge. Avoid this company. read more

I book a pick up, the van was dirty and old. Later I received an additional charge for traffic after I got dropped off at the curbside at LAX, when I wanted to get clarification they send emails that unpaid balance will be perused and reported to the credit bureau. We need to inform everyone that this company are THIEVES . Inform your family and friends . If I could rated zero star I will do it but unfortunately had to choose the one star. read more

crooks! do not use this service--they are thieves. yes, they have a contract you have to sign, and it is filled with lengthy legal jargon that essentially allows them to charge you for almost anything, which they do. customer service is automated, and you can only contact them via email, where the responses also appear to be automated. the van was dirty and old, and it was not even close to what they advertised. shame on me for trusting them. again, don't use them. you're better off using uber or lyft. read more

Do not book your shuttle service with 24-7 Ride. I booked them for shuttle from OC to LAX for both my outbound flight and return trip. They did not show up at all for my outbound ride to LAX after I had received notification that my driver was on the way and I ended up having to take an Uber leaving 45 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. Then on my return trip, my driver did show up and he was great, but then I received a surprise charge of $86.00 in additional charges for "excess duration" based on 4am traffic patterns which is completely ridiculous because LA traffic during the day would never be the same as 4am. They should have been upfront about this policy because based on that, EVERY SINGLE ride with this company will result in excess duration charges! That is unless you are actually traveling at 4am. They must have many customer complaints about this excess charge because their email even threatens collections if you dispute the additional charges. I will never book with them again and I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable shuttle to the airport. read more

Warning to Travelers: Predatory Billing and Bait-and-Switch Tactics - If You've Been Ripped Off, You Have Recourse Do not book with 24-7 Ride. They advertise low flat-rate quotes online to secure reservations, only to retroactively tack on unauthorized fees that double the final price. Following a completed trip, they billed an extra $121.00 on top of an $84.00 quote. When challenged, they revealed an exploitative billing architecture engineered to make extra charges mathematically guaranteed: Excess Duration Trap: They calculate transit delays by comparing daytime Los Angeles traffic against a hypothetical 4:00 AM "Zero-Traffic" baseline. Fabricated Early Fees: They assess early pickup surcharges timed from when their driver leaves an off-site staging lot - not when you board the vehicle. Intimidation: If you question these fees, they send automated legal threats claiming credit card disputes constitute fraud and promising immediate credit bureau reporting. Legal Violations Under California Law A digital signature on a click-through agreement does not legalize unlawful billing practices: California Civil Code § 1670.5 (Unconscionable Contracts): Contract clauses that are shockingly one-sided, hidden in fine print and beyond consumer control are legally void and unenforceable. California Civil Code § 1770(a)(29) / SB 478 (Honest Pricing Law): Prohibits advertising a baseline price while concealing mandatory, unavoidable post-transaction surcharges (drip pricing). Consumer Recourse: Where to File Formal Complaints If you have been subjected to unauthorized post-ride surcharges, do not let their form letters intimidate you. Dispute the charge directly with your credit card issuer under the Fair Credit Billing Act, and file official complaints with the following regulatory and enforcement bodies: California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC): File an informal or formal regulatory complaint against their charter permit (PSG0025014) Office of the California Attorney General: Report unlawful business practices Federal Trade Commission (FTC): Report deceptive drip pricing and fraud Orange County District Attorney (Consumer Protection Unit): File a local merchant fraud complaint LAWA Ground Transportation Bureau: Report unauthorized airport ground operations Better Business Bureau (BBB): Document your dispute publicly read more

24-7 Ride - Boilerplate response containing threats of credit bureau reporting and labeling standard consumer billing inquiries as "fraudulent" - Airport Shuttles Near Me - Tustin, California

It's a scam. They lure you in with their low online price which is fake. They charge your credit card a higher price after the ride. Look at their other reviews. Stay away. read more

This is a total scam. DONT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They quoted me $249 and ended up charging me $612 for one way LAX to Irvine. Additional charges were added for: 1. Driving on toll roads! The driver did that without asking or getting my approval. 2. My flight arriving late even though I notified them of the schedule change. 3. High traffic on the way from the airport to my home... can you believe that!!! They calculate the route time based on driving at 4AM... any extra minute from that time is charged as high traffic. Those guys are literally insane and total scam. Their business should be shut down for fraudulent billing. read more

DO NOT USE UNLESS THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS. I WOULD HITCH HIKE BEFORE USING THEM AGAIN OR TAKE OUT A SECOND MORTGAGE TO AFFORD ANOTHER OPTION. Do not use this sham of a service. I was charged $150 in extra fees due to a delayed flight when they had the flight number and I contacted them as soon as I knew the flight was delayed. Apparently they calculate their rates using the travel time at 4 AM and the charge you more for the actual travel time. On top of that, our vehicle was filthy, had a horrible suspension and the driver was not friendly and probably hadn't showered in days. I've had better transportation experiences in third world countries. Horrible. Awful. Do not use read more

Negitive 5 stars!!!!!!! I booked this "joke of a company" a week in advance for transportation to an international flight, where they state "you should arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure and departurewas during rush hour". On the day of my trip, the driver didn't contact me until the scheduled pickup time to tell me he would be an hour late. Trying to reach the company was impossible. They don't answer their phones, and I couldn't get in touch with the driver either, only went to VM. With no reliable transportation and an international flight to catch, I had no choice but to book an Uber at the last minute to get my family to LAX. Because of the short notice, it cost significantly more than it should have. To make matters worse, the company has refused to take responsibility or provide the refund their own terms warrant. Whoever is emailing me, was telling me it was my fault I didn't read the contract, believes they're going to keep a single penny of my money after failing to provide the contracted service, they're mistaken. I will pursue every available remedy, including a chargeback and any other appropriate consumer protection avenues. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. If you have a flight or any time-sensitive travel, don't risk it. read more

They were late to pick us up at the airport and the driver, who finally showed up, a nice guy, said he was just dispatched. SCOUNDRELS. This company is a criminal organization, using predatory fees and bullying tactics to rob people of their money. When they're not ripping people off and providing lousy service, they're doing it while providing no service at all! I booked with them for a shuttle ride for my family's vacation, a week in advance. When I saw all the bad reviews, I tried to cancel later the same day. They said they were keeping 50% of my money. They warned me not to try a chargeback with my credit card company or they'd send me to collections. The sheer audacity and entitlement to entrap people and extract their money! They are thieves. I am pursuing a chargeback with my credit card company. I'm also filing complaints with the state Public Utilities Commission, the state attorneys office, and the attorney's office of City of Tustin, where 24-7 Ride is based. SHAME ON YOU read more

They are a terrible company with ripoff practices. They lowball the ride fare and then charge exorbitant fees for 'early pickup' and 'excess traffic' charges. If you cancel anytime they only refund 50% of the fare. Stay away! read more

Proceed with caution! There is no room for a mistake in booking. Even an immediate attempt to cancel a booking will cost you 50% of quoted rate. It seems they are used to complaints about this policy as the cancellation confirmation email details all the steps they will take if you dispute the charge. They seem to rely on collecting the cancellation revenue rather than providing respectful customer service that will build a base of returning customers. read more

How dare this company advertise and say they are in business .They should change their name to Never Show-24-7 .We made a reservation to be picked up at 12:40 Am . They never showed up at all . I really wished that we would have read the reviews . We wouldn't have booked with them . It's sad that they are taking advantage of good working trusting people . You can't get a hold of a live person to talk to and they say to call your driver if your at the airport waiting . How do you call the driver if you don't have his/her phone number or name . It's too bad the Better Business Bureau hasn't closed them down . They charge people weeks later for being a longer ride than it should be . Which is probably a lie . They should be charged ,closed down and sued in court. I will be getting in touch with the Better Business Bureau next . read more

I wish I would have seen the yelp reviews before using this shuttle service. I booked them for a ride to LAX because the price was reasonable. My ride was early on a Sunday morning so there was no traffic. Shortly after my ride I received an email that said there were putting a $200 hold on my credit card for any incidentals which I thought was weird. Then when I received my final receipt I saw that they charged me an extra $20 because they said my ride took two minutes longer than it should have. I mean really! I emailed them to try to get them to remove this bogus charge but all I got back was an email telling me that I should read the terms of the contract that I signed. It was not worth my time to fight over this but I do want to warn other people to NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. They are a shady business with bad business practices. This kind of disregard for customers will eventually catch up to these guys. read more

We had 2 parties traveling to Anaheim, CA & booked 2 reservations with 24-7 Ride. We received 2 confirmations, but the driver did not show up for our 2nd party. When we tried to call, we were routed through an automated phone tree. There was no real person to talk to & the phone tree kept sending us to a message, telling us to "send an email". The driver who did show up said he couldn't help, as even their drivers cannot contact a real person at the company. The vehicle that picked us up from the airport showed years of wear, had an off-putting odor, & had grimy seats & surfaces. The vehicle that brought us back to the airport was no different. The drivers were pleasant & got us to our destinations on time, so we did not complain about the condition of the vehicles. 3 weeks after our reservation, I got 3 emails from 24-7 Ride within 1 hr. The 1st noted added fees for 19 min of drive time. The email did not specify the "contracted" times, but indicated I could "request a GPS report", which was not helpful. The 2nd email included a payment link. The 3rd, sent minutes after the 1st two, was a demand for payment & a threat to send me to collections. When responding to the 1st email requesting justification for the additional charges, I was met with an aggressive response noting that there is language buried deep in their terms & conditions stating that additional time due to various factors (incl. traffic) would result in added fees ($2/minute). The response included a 2nd threat to send me to collections. Be wary of this company. They will nickel-&-dime you for "additional time" & hides its intent to charge added fees deep in its terms & conditions, which are shown after agreeing to the quoted price on the website & entering your credit card information, making it difficult for customers to know what they are truly paying for until it's too late. 24-7 Ride operates under shady business practices, deliberately charging customers extra without their knowledge or explicit, informed consent. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience with 24-7 Ride. The vehicle was not clean, and the AC was not working properly--one of the vents was broken and could not even be closed. I was also extremely disappointed by the additional charges after the ride. The base fare was $168, but I was charged an additional $92 for 46 minutes at $2 per minute, bringing the total to $260. Charging customers based on the difference between the actual trip time and a theoretical "zero-traffic" 4:00 AM travel time feels unreasonable and misleading. On top of that, you suggest a 20% gratuity while still adding these significant charges afterward. Given the poor vehicle condition, broken AC, and unexpected fees, I will not use 24-7 Ride again and cannot recommend this service to others. read more

They are horrible! We provided our flight information, that they evidently don't us to see if flights are late. We arrived at Long Beach and the driver had left and didn't return until 1.5hrs later...I get all of the bogus charges for being late, travel time and other charges that they created. It would have been cheaper to cancel and only pay the original $97. The vehicles on the website was not to vehicle that picked us up. Do not use this company! Worst experience with a car service ever! My wife and I were going to LA with some friends. We booked 24/7 Ride long before our trip, and received confirmation that we would be picked up. When we arrived at LAX, we still hadn't received any email or text from them letting us know who our drive was and if they were on the way. We tried calling every number we could find. NOTHING! We tried texting. NOTHING!! We emailed. NOTHING!! We were without a ride we had already paid for! Our friends were also using 24/7 Ride and they asked their driver for a number, but he didn't have any way to contact the company either. (Our friends were also blindsided by a $38 fee 3 weeks after our trip because 24/7 ride said the ride took longer than they had planned. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!) I finally emailed 24/7 ride and said they either cancel our reservation and give a FULL refund, or I would be putting a chargeback with my cc company. We did finally hear back from them, and they did refund our money. Only good think about this company! We ended up going over and taking a Lyft. We come to find out, our Lyft was a MUCH cleaner vehicle than our friends had, they said their mini-van was disgusting!! ALSO, the cost of the Lyft with a 20% tip was CHEAPER than the base cost for 24/7 Ride! AVOID USING THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!! read more

I would strongly caution anyone considering using 24/7 Ride services. I booked and prepaid for a ride from the ship port in LA to the LAX. When I made the reservation, I selected my pickup time, destination, and agreed to the quoted price. I even pick a bigger van because I would be traveling with my father who has a wheelchair with him. Everything was confirmed. After the pick up for which the van was dirty they are charging me additional $80. saying it took the driver long to get out the airport for which it was not that much traffic at 1 p.m. Never will I use them in my life. I booked a scheduled pick up and drop off from LAX to a hotel in Anaheim, California. I was quoted $100 for this fare. The driver contacted me to inform me he was late to pick me up due to his previous ride running behind. He was dropping off at LAX where I was being picked up. I had to wait almost an hour passed my pick up time for him to arrive, and even walked with my son and our luggage up to a different terminal in departures to meet him where he was dropping off in order to save some time. However, I was charged a late fee of 78.00 because the driver was late.... Even though I showed up to the pick up location on time. I was also charged an "excess duration charge" of $84 for 42 minutes, but my entire ride was 42 minutes total, so there was no "excess." So, even though I paid in advance for a $100 fare quoted by 24/7 from LAX to Anaheim on August 1 at 9:45, I was charged a additional $162 - $2 per minute for the duration of the fare (which was not in the terms) on top of the quote AND a $78 fee for my driver being late.
