Food was spectacular. Saw a photo from a friend about the Lobster Rolls and had to go. Nice comfortable seating. Super cool atmosphere and feel. Live music was also going on. We ordered many items: Lobster Roll - 3 and very good, not wet by any means, crispy bread for the sandwich and nice chips. Carbonara Flatbread - Best flatbread I've ever had and I've had them in 6 of the 7 continents. Fruity Pebbles French Toast - Great presentation and very nice with the mousse. More strawberries would be a nice touch. Truffle Fries - I asked for very well done, BROWN!, and they rushed them out for no reason what soever and they were not crispy. If they didn't taste so good I would have complained but I also had so much other food coming I didn't want to set a bad precedent. read more

The service was not great as we had to ask for people to grab our server multiple times in order to get things. The food was ok. The fries look good but tasted old. I've been going to 220 for many years and the food mostly doesn't disappoint. Their Cobb salad is great with a side of protein. Their appetizers are typically good as well (calamari) and the ambience is great. However, service could be much better for this establishment. Where do I begin? Wine was poured into a chipped glass. I almost cut my lip. Brought it to the attention of our waiter, he took it away without any apologies. Brought another glass and accidently hit me by reaching over me, again - no apologies. There were 3 of us and we all ordered salads and appetizer. Food was brought for my friends but not me. Had to call the waiter and inquire about my food. When it finally arrived, I was hit again and you guessed it - no appology. Finally, when asked for a check, the waiter grabbed it the second we signed for it while we're still sitting there and finishing our wine. No manners whatsoever. Very disappointed. read more

A very nice pretentious restaurant. Very busy on the weekend and it's a vibe of who is showing off their car at the valet. The food is good and is very expensive. Appetizers are plentiful. The calamari is good but a small portion for $18. The soups are great and so are the Caesar salads. Wine glasses are $12-$18 for normal grapes. Cheeseburger can be very good with the fries but once again they are very pricey. Shrimp cocktail was a nice touch. Overall dinner cost about $325 for four people. I tipped 20 percent. Service is adequate but sometimes it can be slow because of how busy the eatery is. The outside is more accommodating. The inside of restaurant is packed to the rafters which makes it very uncomfortable. Outside seating is great! Inside eatery is packed, hot, tables on top of each other. Horrible seating! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! I had literally the best birthday dinner of my life. We sat in the front area of the restaurant and I loved the bright and modern decor. I actually enjoyed the loud music - it set a really chill vibe that I appreciated. It just looked and felt like a fun atmosphere and it was. The food was spectacular! I had the sirloin beef tips with Pappardelle pasta and it was savory and delicious. The desserts were incredible as well as the drinks. Service was professional and impeccable. Prices are high for the area, but food is fantastic, some of the best I've had in Michigan. They also do a really good job with COVID safety, which unfortunately is not the case at most Michigan restaurants. For example all seating was outside on a very nice patio, and customers were a good distance from each other. The tuna tartare was really good, as was the beet salad with shrimp. read more

Heard good things about this place. I was warned that the staff is unnecessarily 'stuck up' but I've been to many restaurants in the Birmingham area and never had an issue. It was Sunday afternoon around 1:30 - bar was busy but surrounding tables were not. I had no reservation and immediately the host was not trying to accommodate us. I understand that that typically tables are reserved for guests with reservations but I'm being completely honest when I say there was seriously no one sitting at the tables or booths. She then said "I guess you can sit here". It was a crappy located high top table but I was ok with it because I'm really here for the food drinks and ambience. Remaining positive and open minded, our server finally comes with water. She does not say a word. My friend asked her how she was and again she didn't say a word and left. Still giving this place the benefit of doubt - the server comes back with napkins for our waters but again doesn't speak! I was confused lol. I wanted to order the bubbly bar to get started which would've increased her potential tip but she literally couldn't even speak let alone look me in the eyes to even acknowledge me. The vibes were off and my friend agreed without us even saying what we thought about 220 so far. That same server was giddy giddy for a man sitting alone at a nearby high top table which only solidified that the service here is trash. If you don't 'wear' your money on you - the hospitality is non existent and 220 made that very clear to us. We left without saying a word. Bummer read more

I came here for brunch with a meetup group on a Sunday. I had never been here and yet now I'm wondering why not. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice and peaceful. I ordered peach bellini and it was quite good. Definitely the right way to kick off my meal. We had great service even though we were a larger party. I went with the shrimp, Andouille sausage and grits. This was even though I had just come back from New Orleans. It was good but definitely not what I should have ordered after being in the land of shrimp, Andouille sausage and grits. It was as definitely not authentic but I guess it was good enough for Michigan?!? The downgrade in stars is really based on the lack of options for gluten free people. While I picked the dish I did and then partially regretted it, there are not a lot of choices for gluten free options. Many of the options that are mentioned in the reviews are full of gluten. My first time here. Sat over at the bar to and I ordered one of their craft cocktail: Old Woodward. It's whiskey, fresh strawberries, vanilla lemonade & fresh mint. The cocktail is as refreshing for the summer. I'm mostly a dark liquor kind or guy. Either bourbon or cognac are my go-to's. So the cocktail definitely caught my eye! I even ordered a second one while waiting for entrees. The bartending staff were super friendly and very attentive. The food came out pretty quickly! I ordered the filet tip pappardelle medium-rare. It was cooked to perfection and was served with wild mushroom bordelaise, spinach, aged provolone & pappardelle. It was creamy and the amount of food definitely wasn't too heavy . I let my friend try some of the filet tip and he even mentioned that it was flavorful and to his surprise he enjoyed it being cooked at medium-rare. He's more of a well done kinda guy. But hey, we only can convert one person at a time lol. If you're coming to the restaurant don't expect to spend less than about $80-$100+ per person. The prices are reasonable. The location is chic and you'll see quite a few Porsche's parked in the surrounding area. read more

I've been here a couple of times over the past year and every time it's been great. It's super cute inside and the outdoor patio is open when the weather is nice. The cocktails are amazing and they have a great wine list. I love the Fuzzy Bubbles cocktail because it's fruity and sweet and I love the bubbles and smoke from the dry ice. For an appetizer I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Tartare. The steaks are all really good quality and prepared nicely. But what really makes this place stand out is their extravagant desserts! I've tried the Tres Leches Cookie Butter Cake which was good but a bit dry. It could use more frosting/icing or cookie butter drizzle. Have also tried the Make a Wish Sundae and Crème Brûlée Cheesecake which are so indulgent and sweet The sundae is definitely big enough to share! read more

I came here for a birthday party and everything was great. We had a private room and the waitstaff were extremely attentive. The food was excellent. They were able to separate meals for sharing as well. My husband and I split a caesar salad, a NY strip steak, which came with truffle fries and the baked mac n cheese. The only bad thing was that there was some weird issue with the gratuity that didn't make sense. They charged 20% gratuity, which is normal, but they charged each check evenly and not per person. We ended up being charged 40% of our total bill. The waitress should have been able to separate it for 20% of our bill or at least per person and not per check. Seems like they took advantage or made a mistake when separating the checks. read more

My friends and I came here on New Years Eve and it was fantastic. The waitress was a 10/10 and knew everything about the food and drinks. The food was incredible. It is a higher end/fine dining place so expect a higher bill, especially if getting drinks too. I tried the beet and goat cheese salad, and we split a margherita pizza and fried calamari (big portion size) for appetizers. All very good. Pros: food cooked well, dirty martini was great Cons: service was terrible, unhappy servers. Took forever to even be able to order. Usually waitresses have sections, instead here three waiters cram to one table each in your tiny area ( mind you it's cramped but if it's a table for two be prepared to be closer than you are even at ronin sushi) time with their helpers and buses. Crazy. Probably wouldn't return unless it's for a friends event because to food was good but not mine blowing. Deff need to hire better servers read more
