Really interesting place! I had no idea that this was also a venue that could be reserved for a wedding or some kind of event as well. Did not get to check that part out but it sounds lovely. I am not sure about the other side but where we were sitting and all, the parking is pretty tight which is pretty typical for Costa Mesa for some reason. So just be mindful of that! Walking in, they seemed pretty busy because they were getting ready for some reserved event, I think. We were seated in the patio which I actually enjoyed with the tree in the center. I liked the ambiance and I imagine in the evening with the candles lit, it could be very cute. My friend and I got our plates and utensils and they weren't washed the best so we just wiped them ourselves (probably could have asked for another set). But, minor mishaps for some reaaaaaally good food and a really awesome waitress. We got the Brussel Sprouts and they were so so good. The pomegranate and cashews and goat cheese with the roasted Brussel Sprouts were an amazing combo. Would definitely get that again. Also the pizza was really great quality. They definitely know what they are doing with their pizza. I would say the food in itself was awesome. Our server, Marissa is fantastic and great to talk to. The food here was good! Nothing amazing, but everything was pleasant. I really enjoyed the brussels sprouts because of the seasonings and the pomegranate seeds. The burrata and prosciutto pizza was also pretty standard. I did love the crust as it was nice and chewy. I think the main selling point of this place is the patio in the back. It's pretty and a great place to have a catch up with friends! Parking is tricky though as they only have a small spot and not much street parking around. Came here for a birthday party and I would say this place is good for big groups! Servers were really sweet and ambience is nice outside. Drinks were good, food was ok. The "garlic bread" was just cheese and garlic on pizza dough. The margherita pizza was good, but nothing special. Same with the Cesar salad. With all the pizza in OC now, I probably wouldn't come back here unless I needed a place to accommodate a big group. read more

We came just in time for happy hour, and got a few things off of the HH menu (pizza, fries, and a house salad). Everything was pretty good, but nothing wow'ed me. Specifically the pizza - I didn't know this was possible, but I think there was too much cheese. The crust was good though; fluffy and on the softer side. Our server was great, and even offered to bring us bug spray to avoid getting bit by mosquitos. The one thing though is the parking! It's a small lot of oddly shaped spots. Found our new favorite pizza spot in OC (and there's a lot)! I LOVE mushrooms and so I will order every mushroom pizza out there and my god 2145 Eats has perfected this pizza. There is so much depth and flavor, I could eat it every day. Their pizzas come LOADED with toppings, we got Italian sausage added to our pepperoni which was a bit too salty for my taste but still really good. As if ordering 2 pizzas for 2 people isn't enough, we always have room for dessert and went with the Horchata Titamisu - AMAZING. Please order, I promise you'll love it. They have a nice large beer selection (cause pizza & beer are the perfect combo of course). The place is huge, so many different seating options, and is dog friendly in their front patio space! Service is always top notch. Another time we went we ordered their Italian Sausage Pizza and man was this good. Came in close to beating my favorite but nothing can beat my love for mushrooms and so the Sausage Pizza is coming in as my second favorite. But I originally contacted them to schedule a party for a large group of people and after the initial call, they never called me back even though I followed up with a call. I had great service once when I came with family and another time when I sat outside waiting for them to open and they didn't attend to me until 30-40m after they opened even though I was clearly sitting in their bench right at the door the enitre time. Came here with a party of about 15 and the service was great. Although it looks small from the outside, there's so much seating and it fit us comfortably. There's also valet so you won't need to worry about parking your car. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and was able to handle our large party without issue. I would definitely recommend this for a large party. The food was a little disappointing, I felt like the pizza was undercooked since the sauce and cheese slid off the pizza right as I picked it up. We were looking for a good place to eat on a Saturday night. Parking was valet-only. We were seated immediately as a group of 10. The server greeted us quickly. We asked if we could split the bill and were told they do not split bills--even if it's only into two. This doesn't make sense, as any modern POS system (since at least 2002) can easily split checks. My wife and I shared the Prosciutto and Burrata pizza and the meatballs. The food was good and came out in a timely manner. Our only real complaints were with the service after the initial food drop. We only saw our server once more, a few minutes after the food arrived. After that, we didn't see any server for another 25 minutes. By then, there were only a few tables left, so the staff wasn't busy with other guests. When we finally flagged down a different server, he said ours was busy doing side work. Last time I checked, customer service should come before side work. Half the table had empty drinks for over 20 minutes by that point. I then understood why the service felt so indifferent: the restaurant automatically adds a 20% gratuity (or service charge) to the check for parties of 6 or more. Last time I checked, TIP stands for "To Insure Promptness"--yet we didn't receive prompt service after the start of our visit. The restrooms were also very unkempt by this time of night. read more

Went here for a date night on a Monday! It was so nice to find a spot where they do happy hour after 5pm (happy hour all day Monday which is even better). We ordered brussel sprouts which was amazing and could not stop eating it. We also ordered the Gabagool pizza and it was so yummy! A plus is that my almost 4 year old really likes it, he eats the crust from our pizza, we order him pizza sauce and parmesan cheese, he is a picky guy but he wont ever eat a little caesars pizza. They have somewhat of an odd parking situation, the first time we went we parked in their parking lot easily but the second time they had valet as the only option. This is a 2 part review.... We came into 2145 for our first time back in November and sadly had a below average experience. We were recommended this place by a close friend and I was so excited to try it out. We came in on a Friday night(it wasn't very busy) and sat at the bar. That's where things took a turn. The "craft cocktails" were mediocre, our pizza came out burnt and fries weren't well done. When I asked if we could get our pizza remade it almost seemed like it was a burden. After what felt like some haggling, we finally got our pizza remade and it was actually really good. We left disappointed but not hungry. Part 2 We decided to come back with our friends that recommended us this place to give it another chance. We came in during a weekday night. We also sat at the bar again and right away our experience was completely different. Landon, the bartender, was so friendly and attentive to our needs. He joked and laughed with us and made us feel like we were right at home. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and history at 2145 as well! He made us an off-menu custom cocktail that we enjoyed with our dinner and it was was beyond delicious. After our dinner was done we were craving a dessert cocktail in which Landon created one for us on the fly. It was SO GOOD that we each ordered a second one Moral of the story is everyone deserves a second chance, even a restaurant! It's by itself on a corner lot, valet parking after a certain time because of the limited sized parking lot. I can't think of one bad thing I've eaten here so I'll tell you some of my favorites: Italian sausage pizza is probably my favorite, the mushroom pizza is also really good. My friend and I grabbed lunch here on a Saturday afternoon- we arrived around 1 and the parking lot was full but they accommodated my friends car against the front fence. We had both driven past here for years, had it on our list and finally made it happen. There is lots of outdoor seating which is surprising because from the front you can't tell. They have canopies so it's mostly shaded. Staff were super friendly and helpful with choosing from the menu. The food came out quickly. My friend loved her kale salad, I loved the meatballs. The pork belly was a seasoned well but very dry. The fries were not as hot and fresh as I had hoped (they looked amazing) but were salted and the added cheese was great. I know this place is known for its pizza which our neighbors were enjoying and it did look amazing. We'll have to try that next time. read more

This place is a hidden gem. The hostesses were very friendly and helpful and got seated within a few minutes. The back patio has a beautiful bamboo setting. Once seated, they were quick to crank up the heaters, and it felt nice and cozy at our table. We started with french fries as an appetizer and they were amazing. Parking is valet ($7) or my friend read there's parking across the street at the Lutheran church (nobody was parked there and we didn't want to risk getting towed). Man finally tried this place with my wife and it did not disappoint! It's a cool little place that has cozy vibes. The pizza was great if you're a fan of that style of pizza. We got the blue cheese and honey pizza plus a pepperoni with spicy marinara. Very tasty and tasted like quality ingredients from everything involved.
