Lovely wine bar nestled in the Mission! Came for a Friday happy hour around 6 and there was still good indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Riesling (so sweet and delicious, like drinking grape juice which was what I wanted), Rose (crisp and refreshing), and the Zucchini Pizza (light and crispy crust, freshest veggies, good bite). They have patio seating, some couch/casual seating by the entrance, and more traditional tables / bar as you go farther back. The interior is such a good vibe for an evening bev - brick wall, low lights, fun posters, fun lanterns - it's both homey and trendy. Service was so so nice! Prompt in serving us and zero rush to stop vibing - a highlight!

My friend suggested this little stop while we were in the area - it was my favorite spot of the day. We ordered the beets and beans - both were excellent. So much flavor, incredibly fresh, and vibrant. We all ordered a glass of wine, they had a great selection, everyone was happy with their selection. They have a little outdoor space that we sat in. Two little tables in the sun and a few covered tables. They also have a nice indoor space. The service was phenomenal. Everyone working there was friendly and everything came out quickly.

Really nice wine bar! The ambiance was exactly what I was looking for -- vibey, aesthetic, chill. Ordered a bottle of champagne to celebrate a birthday and it was very worth and also very good. Would definitely recommend anyone who likes wine to check it out!

If you're looking for a fancy wine bar with eclectic taste, mood lighting, capturing art, 20 spot is the place. I stopped by with a friend to share a bottle of wine. Keep in mind, it's tough to find a bottle under $50, it's not a dive bar. I really appreciated the variety of seating and I can't wait to go back to try the food. The space was dimly lit, small tables of two bar, seating and a lounge/couch area. I really appreciate the thought put into the art in the space. We ordered a bottle of wine to share, a red, it was really good and I appreciate the service. Our server was very kind, we were able to sit in the couch base, even though we were just two. The wine was really good. I had a really good time. I think it would be a fun spot to go with more friends. It's not too loud. It's a great place for a first date. They have quite the variety of wine so there's something you'll like! I can't wait to go back with friends and share a bottle.

This place is SUCH a vibe! Definitely want to come back and try some food. Went with a girl friend on Friday night around 8 and got seated within 10ish minutes without reservation; it was definitely poppin' though. Ordered a bottle of the orange wine. Service was nice!

This place is absolutely my vibe, one hundred percent. We were in town for pride and passed by. Casual outdoor tables basking in sunset light on a lazy summer evening, and a stylish interior. We glanced at the menu and decided heck yes. We shared the burrata salad with delicious stone fruits, the crudo with chilled Korean melon, corn pizza which was delicious and ended with the tres leches cake with apricot. Everything was delicious and the service was quick and kind without feeling fake. Would definitely recommend for a date. Another table next to us began as two friends catching up and more familiar passersby joined as the night went on, more wine coming out. Very cute neighborhood spot, and you get to people-watch the line at the ice cream spot across the street, if they're open Also their wine menu is quite good

We had an excellent dinner at 20 spot. The service was great and we tried both pizzas on the menu, which were excellent and "spot" on. We will definitely come back.

I was walking down 20th to a friend's house with my headphones on, hoping not to get lost when I saw a sign that said "Records." my first thought was I miss Tower Records, and as I got closer, I heard the music. The 60s music and design reminded me of Austin, Texas. That was my draw, and I had to go in! The inside was grown up and relaxed but in no way kitschy. I felt like I had found my new hang-out spot. The woman I met (I forgot to ask her name) was charming and answered every question. I wanted to stay, have a drink and a nosh, and enjoy this place. I'm definitely coming back with friends...

So impressed! SF has no dirth of wine bars, which makes the choice of which one to go to really overwhelming. I can confidently say this: pick 20 Spot. It's welcoming, cozy, and vibey, and the wine is so good! We came in around 9pm on a Saturday and they were really full -- we ended up waiting for bar seats. My friend got a chilled red wine and a I got a sparkling red. Mine was like a Labrusco but even better! Our server was so much fun and extremely helpful with the wine selection. He even gave us a taste before we agreed to full pours :)

Stopped by 20 Spot for a drink after dinner and it was packed at 8:30. Luckily we were able to squeeze into the last 2 spots by the bar. It was buzzing and a really fun spot to drink some wine, though I did see people eating dinner at the bar as well. The food definitely looked good too. I got a red and my bf got a glass of white. I was about halfway through my glass and I wasn't really a fan. I struck up a convo with the bartender, who turned out to be the owner and I realized I had accidentally ordered a glass of a natural red wine! The funkiness and acidity of natural wines is not really my thing, and he was nice enough to pour me a regular glass of red free of charge. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and I loved that he was in the thick of things working behind the bar. This is a great spot in the Mission, I'll definitely be back to try some of their food out.

The ambiance is very cool, orange lighting, interesting designs and song choices. We had the orange wine and some house bread with apricot butter. The bread is so good, crunchy and soft in the center. The wine was light and paired with the apricot butter & bread well. perfect little spot for grabbing a drink, chatting with a friend, and having a small snack in a quiet spot! The service is also good, server was attentive and helpful even though we were the only people outside. Will be coming back again

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

I love the decor of this space! It is definitely intentionally and tastefully decorated. Loved the lighting and plants. They had Lord of the Rings playing on the wall. The vibe is artsy, warm, a little dark, and overall a cool place to mingle. The bathrooms and tables were kept clean. I liked it that the DJ was live mixing. Getting a drink was fast and easy. The high top tables were a bit wobbly, so we spilled half a drink on there. The drinks are strong. I recommend going upstairs to sit instead if you want to hear your friends better. The tables are bigger up there too. The rooftop was closed off but I'd like to check it out sometime.

The marinated artichokes were good, not amazing, but a large portion and pleasant enough. I wish they had more veggies or a salad option. The seats are not comfortable, this is not a place to come and relax with a book. The parklet seating is nicely sheltered from the breeze, but can be noisy. The music, outdoor setting, and service are all good. Flatbread was lovely and soft when hot, hardens to a crispy cracker when it cools. The Woody's sparkling N.A. rosé was a bit flat (flavor wise). The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. Everyone who works here is warm, funny, and present in a way that makes you feel like you belong, whether it's your first visit or your 50th. Live jazz nights here are their own kind of therapy. I once saw a harpist who made me feel like I was floating inside the music. No cover, no pressure, just ridiculously good musicians making the whole place glow. One thing I love: the rotating local art. The walls change every so often as new artists take over, and it completely shifts the energy of the space. You might not love every piece, but that's kind of the point--it's alive, it's personal, and it's supporting real artists in SF. And if you do love something, you can take it home (yep, everything's for sale). Whether you're here for the jazz, the wine, the art, or the people.. waystone shows up with soul.
