Friendly service, spacious room, great dog friendly patio, variety of food depending on time you're there and something interesting for both beer lovers and oenophiles. I had 4 interesting half pours of wine (2 white, 1 rose pet nat and a "v" varietal. Partner had a mango beer and a salted caramel stout. Both excellent. Also tried beef and mushroom empanadas which were delicious (lucky to snag that last beef one). Would definitely be my hangout if I were local.

Woods was a nice surprise for our evening! We wanted some drinks and apps, and this was the perfect place. Even when the inside was full and it was ~45°, the patio was still cozy and warmed with heaters. It's order at the counter, the food we had was GREAT. Came out extremely fast and was awesome Mexican food. Would go back!

Food/drinks: love the wine selection! Atmosphere: obsessed with the atmosphere and art!! It's so cute and curated in the best way would definitely come here with friends! Service: good! Price: as expected

This place has both indoor seating an outdoor patio in the back. You order at the bar. There's light bites, wings, and pizza to nosh on while you enjoy their beers and wines. Love the vibes of this place, and it's a great spot to catch up with friends/coworkers.

Hate to be a hater, but the beer here is very underwhelming. For the price, $10 for an 11 ounce pour of a sour, I expected great things. I was sorely disappointed.

Have been here a handful of times now and have had a great time every visit. Great locations with fresh beer and wine, cozy environment with rotating art on display, delicious Detroit style pizza on site from Joyride, chill playlists, nice breezy plant covered patio and sometimes live jazz inside. Ive tried a few of their wines and a couple of their brews. Ive enjoyed all of them. The pizza is also pretty solid! You order at the bar and they give you your drinks directly from there and bring food out to you. I also saw they have a bottle shop too if you just want to get some beer/wine to go. Ive brought friends from out of town here as well snd they also enjoyed it. Check it out.

I came here after a happy hour event nearby, and let me just say this place hit the spot. I've been to Joyride in SoMa, but Woods raised the bar. I love how large the venue is and how they have a large selection of pizzas, wings, drinks, and desserts, so there's guaranteed to be something for everyone. Perfect spot to hit up for a night out!

Came in for a drink after wanting to check it out in the neighborhood. Great selection of beer and wine. Favorites were the chilled red, sour beer, and cider. It's cute inside and a small outdoor area as well. Bartender was great and friendly. They sell Joyride pizza which is delicious too. You can get a personal size or a full size pizza and have cut into however many slices you'd like. We ended up getting a half size/personal pizza and sharing it. I'd definitely come back and try more drinks/beer/wine

woods is such a cute brewery in lower haight! the beers are all amazing and super high quality. the blueberry boyfriend sour was my favorite. for the food (from joyride pizza), i'd recommend skipping the tater tots which were very regular. however, the veggie pizza was super delicious! the crust was amazing and baked with cheese. service was fine but the bartender wasn't the most friendly in my opinion. there was also only one person pouring and taking orders on a sunday afternoon. that's fine, but i'd expect a bit more hospitality and friendliness to be honest. overall, i would come back to woods and also go to their other locations!

I LOVE Woods! I have been to Woods quite a few times, but this is my first time leaving a review. My parents were visiting for the day so we decided to take them. We got a few beers and the green goddess pizza and sausage and mushroom pizza. Delicious!! SF blessed us with some beautiful weather so we could enjoy their cute back patio. I appreciate that they are dog friendly and I can always count on them for a quick drink or bite to eat

Really nice spot for dinner/drinks. They have a joyride kitchen on-site so the pizzas are freshly made to order and are delicious! For anyone who likes Detroit style pizza its a must try. I particularly like the sweet heat one with pineapples and jalapenos. The pizzas are pretty expensive - $27 for most of them and they're not too big, but they are filling and really yummy. One pizza should be enough for 1-2 people. Their drink menu has beer and natural wine (wine with no additives) with most wines around $15 per glass. There's tons of seating indoors, with tables for 2 and booths for larger groups of up to 6. The inside is dimly lit and makes for a nice intimate atmosphere. There's also an outdoor patio with 4-5 benches that can seat large groups. Service is all at the counter - you order there and the pizzas are brought over to your table. Will definitely be back!

The Woods Lowside has such a great vibe! I love coming here for some fresh beer and amazing pizza. The Woods has a nice outside patio in the back, which is amazing when it is sunny out, and a parklet in the front with heaters. In addition, there are big booths and seats at the bar inside. The Woods had beer and wine. I'm a beer drinker and love the rotating options. This time, I had Local Honey, which is a cult favorite. I have never had their wine, but I hear it is good. The Woods also serves Joyride Pizza. Joyride Pizza is Detroit-style, and the crust is thick, soft, and perfectly doughy with crispy cheese on the edges. My favorite is the Buffalo Chicken. It has Buffalo sauce, mozzarella, chicken, green onions, and blue cheese. It is soooo good. Joyride also offers gluten-free, and its just as good as the regular pizza. Nothing is better than pizza and a pint!

I walked by and wanted to see this drinking hole and restaurant. They serve Joyride pizza and I got two pieces for $12 because I couldn't think of something else to eat while working for 8 hours on the block. I liked my meal and didn't consider drinking here because I don't drink on the job. I asked her about the candles and how they don't cause harm because I don't know how candles work to this day.

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

The vibe is artsy, warm, a little dark, and overall a cool place to mingle. The bathrooms and tables were kept clean. I liked it that the DJ was live mixing. Getting a drink was fast and easy. The high top tables were a bit wobbly, so we spilled half a drink on there. The drinks are strong. I recommend going upstairs to sit instead if you want to hear your friends better. The tables are bigger up there too. The rooftop was closed off but I'd like to check it out sometime.

The marinated artichokes were good, not amazing, but a large portion and pleasant enough. I wish they had more veggies or a salad option. The seats are not comfortable, this is not a place to come and relax with a book. The parklet seating is nicely sheltered from the breeze, but can be noisy. The music, outdoor setting, and service are all good. Flatbread was lovely and soft when hot, hardens to a crispy cracker when it cools. The Woody's sparkling N.A. rosé was a bit flat (flavor wise). The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. Everyone who works here is warm, funny, and present in a way that makes you feel like you belong, whether it's your first visit or your 50th. Live jazz nights here are their own kind of therapy. I once saw a harpist who made me feel like I was floating inside the music. No cover, no pressure, just ridiculously good musicians making the whole place glow. One thing I love: the rotating local art. The walls change every so often as new artists take over, and it completely shifts the energy of the space. You might not love every piece, but that's kind of the point--it's alive, it's personal, and it's supporting real artists in SF.
