DO NOT HIRE THEM. We were quoted $1,100 after they looked at the whole house to give an "accurate" quote. The crew they sent worked like snails. When they finished, the price became $2,900, and they wouldn't leave without the check. They broke so much stuff, gauged our 1 year old ping pong table, scratched the hutch and dining table, and worst of all broke most of my husband's mother's China. Pictures attached (there's so much more not attached). The owner or manager (whoever was in charge) was extremely aggressive when the issues were addressed. DO NOT HIRE. They break your belongings, change the price, and are extremely aggressive.

Right now I'm incredibly frustrated. I have been sleeping on an air mattress for nearly a month. While "technically" their delivery is not yet late, I start a new job in a few days and won't even have my household goods before I start. When I tried to call about when a possible delivery might be I keep getting told "a truck is going to leave in a few days". I just want to cry. Update: finally got my stuff. And unpacking in pieces since I had to start my new job before I could get everything unpacked and settled in. It is not even fun to unpack because so many boxes have broken items in them. I'm sitting here crying there is so much. See the pics. I can't even begin to describe the disappointment. My heart is sinking.

Extremely poor communication, wildly unprofessional, and several "extra" charges from quote. Absolutely not worth it - steer clear. Quote over phone with Zaki said it would likely be 3-5 days to ship to NYC and we discuss the constraints of my move. I shared all details upfront prior to booking the long distance move (I needed to be able to schedule the delivery/loading area in advance and confirm security clearance, and they needed to provide a certificate of insurance which is standard) and was told it would be no issue that they worked frequently in NYC. Upon confirming this, I shared all of these requirements in writing as well prior to pickup of my items. He also took an estimated inventory over the phone which I told him I was uncertain about. I was told it was fine and if I had less when they arrived (which I did) they'd adjust the quote accordingly since it was a rate per cubic foot (they did not). The day of the move, one mover didn't show to help with pickup at all and two others spent time waiting/trying to get a hold of him. Upon completion of pickup they said they'd call the next day to confirm shipping estimated time (which now suddenly could be 2-21 days depending on how they decided to transport) and final charges before running my card which did not happen. Also at pick several extra fees were tacked on for elevator use, long hallway, packing supplies that were not requested, etc. and they left a mess. I didn't hear from anyone for the next two weeks until I reached out, at which point I received a text message (on both Saturday and Monday) stating there was an estimated delivery date of Wednesday and that I'd be contacted by a driver (who's phone number was listed) to confirm the exact time. I went ahead and tentatively secured the loading facilities pending their paperwork. I never heard from anyone again. On Tuesday, I received a text message from a completely random number saying "Hi this is movers Delivery crew is 30 min away" I had still not received the insurance certificate at this point in order to secure loading area and security clearance, and was in the middle of a meeting at work. I reiterate the need to schedule in advance and that I've held the slot for the estimated date they provided. They confirm Wednesday now from 6-9pm. An hour later they say Wednesday doesn't work and I push back given the reservation had been made and there was limited availability at this point in the week. I'm told that it's fine in that case. The next day (Wednesday)I receive a message at 5pm that the drivers are 5 hours away and delivery wouldn't happen. They refuse repeatedly to provide options other than one 9am-12pm window now on Thursday which I had already explained several times at this point was unavailable while providing several other options. Whomever is texting me (I have no clue) insinuates I'm being difficult and I should just tell the building that because my shipment is small they should accommodate which I do not agree to. The dispatcher from pick up calls me later that evening and I explain my frustration and the issue - he says he'll get a confirmed time and call me back. Yet again no one follows up so Thursday afternoon I reach back out asking if there is a confirmed time and am told the movers are coming that evening (had I not reached out we'd have been in the same initial situation again with no reservation). Over the course of the next several hours I'm continuously texting back and forth to coordinate the updates paperwork that had still not been provided. I literally had to sit on the phone and go through line by line (even though instructions in writing direct from the building were shared weeks earlier before pick up happened and forwarded again - the final docs I received were essentially forged/marked up via PDF). I received the final docs 20 minutes before the delivery arrived then started receiving texts from a NEW phone number. The driver said they were at my location and sent a photo of the cross streets. They were not at the correct location. Thankfully he was only two blocks away so I reiterated the address. This happened two more times. It took another hour and several phone calls, eventually just going to find & walk him to the area for him to locate the building. It take less than 20 minutes to unload my items and several boxes (marked fragile) had clearly been tossed around. All in all this was a total nightmare, however until I secured my belongings I wanted to play nice. I looked into licenses and whatnot prior but should have looked much more closely at reviews. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone. I'd gladly pay double the amount next time for a reputable, professional service, especially if moving long distance.

The beige tape was their tape trying to close my boxes back up after they were crushed.

DO NOT HIRE THEM! The guys who picked up my load where bickering the whole time about who was doing most of the work. They were rough with all of my boxes. It took a month for my boxes to arrive and they were crushed and so many things were broken, damaged or didn't make it here at all. I called when the boxes showed up and let Sal know the damage to the boxes. He said to email pictures of the boxes which I did right away along with what was missing, Then I could never get a hold of him again. He didn't answer my emails nor voicemail I left for him. I had to drop it for awhile as I had a couple deaths in the family and was also having medical issues. It has been a year and I finally got a hold of Zack, who I talked to in the beginning when I booked them. He basically said it was too late and when I explained that I had been trying to get a hold of Sal without any response back he started yelling at me that I was trying to extort money from them when they stole from me as so many things did not arrive! None of my framed pictures made it here and half of my things were broken or damaged. I had purchased brand new moving boxes to pack and bubbled wrapped everything and they were all crushed. They assured me they wouldn't charge more than my quote and yet when my things arrived they charged me extra and would not unload my stuff unless I paid the extra. And they will not do anything about all my damaged and missing things. This company is a nightmare does not have any integrity. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MOVE! Worst experience ever!!!! If you have been a victim of this company, please report them to the Better Business Bureau. If you have had an Interstate Move with them and have been victimized, you can file a complaint with the Federal Department of Transportation at: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/file-a-complaint This company can not go on doing this to so many customers.

Minneapolis moving services are some of the most expensive anywhere I've experienced. I hope that simply means that MN companies pay their labor well. We paid $1365 + $180 tip (optional, but come on) for a 3-man crew at $260/hr (2-hour minimum), and we obviously also provided snacks and drinks (they declined breakfast). For comparison, in San Francisco it was $250/hr for 5 men. The rate was with both the weekday discount and winter pricing. Weekend would have been $285/hr for 3 men, and $345 for 4 men. There was no trip fee. Robert, in particular was incredible; he moved a 6 drawer dresser down a tight stairwell alone. They needed to remove the front door at one point, but did so without issue. They also were happy to use our own furniture pads and plastic wrap (leftover from a cross-country move). At one point, they had to back the huge truck through the alley on icy ground, and had no problems. Also, it was easy to provide them inventory by email, and easy to reach them by phone. Lots of moving companies were annoying to contact, which is partly why we chose this one. One a few minor issues: one piece of furniture was shedding pieces of wood. I think they were reinforcements put on by previous owners. I didn't even know they were there, and it doesn't seem to have affected the furniture. They also forgot a couple of items in the yard, including a big smoker we had to move on our own. It's partly my fault, I told them we were good to go. Also, we were made to sign a lot of paperwork, and at various points it was for things like "you confirm that nothing is broken and everything has arrived" and, like, it's weeks later and I'm still unpacking, there is no way I would have known for sure. It's fine, because so far we have had no issues, but if someone did have issues it might feel like being strong-armed via contract. The guys in the truck were just doing their jobs, so it's the process that is problematic more than anything. We would use these guys again!

Pros: -1 My slot was originally at 8:30a, but with days notice I needed to start earlier, and they were able to move it up to 8am. 2- Each individual I spoke to on the phone when setting up the appointment seemed patient, was helpful, and never came off pushy like movers can (at times). 3- The 3 guys sent were overall respectful. The lead seemed to have his stuff together and knew what he was doing, the other two (who he said were newer) weren't as efficient, but again respectful. Cons: 1- Service was from 8a-11a for the equivalent of a studio. 2- They came 15mins late, the commute between the two locations should have been 15mins but ended up being 30 because they had to stop for gas. Unfortunately when they arrived a garbage truck was now blocking the loading dock so that added another 10mins, and another 5-10mins was lost because toward the end of the job I went to my car and when I returned the lead mover was just standing outside the unit because "the door was locked", which it wasn't. He just didn't use his muscle to push open. So in all, over 45mins of wasted time, which costed me. 3- When I questioned their timing, I was told it's because I had a lot of boxes. To be fair, I did, but they were mainly smaller boxes (like for shipping). If anything i think they dragged their feet to milk the time which is very unscrupulous. 4- Their failure to used a door stopper in the beginning resulted in the unit door being scratched, which one guy tried to convince me was there before . FALSE! Anyway, the damage was shared with CMM, but there was never follow-up. Ultimately, maintenance repainted it. 5- Despite boxes being labeled for the rooms they belonged in, they paid little attention. For example those for kitchen in bedroom. 6- I ended up having to help move the dresser since it wasn't placed where I requested. By the time it was realized 2/3 of guys were at the truck and lead asked if I could help. Since I was paying for the service I would have rather not, but it was easier than having to do it alone later. Perhaps I should send them an invoice. 7- Before they took off, I wanted to just to take a peak at the back of the truck to ensure nothing was left behind. The reception to that request was odd. I mean whats the big deal?! Ultimately I went and ensured. 8- In all the delays costed me and I paid about $300-$400 more than anticipated. Funny thing is the lead kept stressing the whole gratuity thing at the end. I gave them each $20 and the look I got seemed like it wasn't enough. It instantly left me wishing I had given ZERO. My last thing which is more of a suggestion, CMM should consider investing in tees or some branded merch for their staff. Having guys show up in sneaker, crocs, and street clothes really didn't provide a professional look which yes, is possible for movers.

I called a couple days before the move and they said I could have 25 free boxes to start packing if I wanted to and I could pick up the boxes so i did. I packed all my china and stemware the day before. So the day of the move everything was going well and I was helping to pack with the 3 movers who were really chatting and taking their time. I was paying for boxes and time which was quoted 3-5 hours. So around 11am I asked were they almost ready as i had to get my apartment keys, etc. They said I could go ahead and they would meet me there by 11:30-12:00. Well they didn't show until 1:30. The movers told the apartment it would take 45 min to unload and it took 3 hours! The price doubled so I was paying way more than I agreed to but they make you pay on the spot. i was exhausted and they don't take any wrapping paper or boxes which they used tons of...feels like they work slow and use lots if boxes to mske money. Did not quote well. The movers said I could leave things in my dressers, but my jewelry was all jumbled up and falling out of the dresser when it arrived. On top of it all the movers didn't lock up and left a door open with the garage door open after they told me to go ahead and I explained a couple of times how to lock the door, etc. They never told me my house was unlocked with doors open when they arrived so I went back to my house the next day and found it wide open all day and night.
