We used the Move Crew for a move from St. Cloud MN to Minneapolis MN. They called as scheduled to check in and give us an ETA. When they arrived they took a quick look at amount of items and then got to work usually taking 2-3 boxes per trip to truck. They wrapped items in blankets then plastic wrap to keep safe or just plastic to keep drawers in place. They even moved and loaded all the extra random items like packages of toilet paper and a bag of canned food. At the new place they laid down rugs and plastic to protect the floor as they moved items in. They made sure furniture was placed in the area we wanted and even helped adjust as needed. Overall a job well done and it ended up being on the lower side of the estimate. read more

Right out the gate I knew I made the right call in selecting The Move Crew. Their knowledge, proficiency, and customer service is astonishing! Beginning the arrangement over the phone, I speak with a gentleman by the name of Gunnar. This guy helped me understand their process for drawing up an accurate (in actuality a spot on) estimate: going room by room listing and describing the furniture therein, the number of boxes and size of said boxes, options for protecting furniture, when the company starts and stops charging for the day. On top of his wealth of expertise, Gunnar was quite personable, the two of us having some laughs amidst the quote. I informed him then and there I would be leaving a positive review. Come move day, The Move Crew arrives well within the time window I was provided. After a few clarifying questions asked of me, these guys are working harder than James Brown in showbusiness! Everything was handled with care; their speed and efficiency was uncomprehendable. In between hefty hauls, I spoke extensively with the crew: Josh, Lawrence, and Brian. Similar to Gunnar, these gents too were quite personable, having a good laugh or conversation with each of them. Most of the time spent was on loading the truck. Once everything was on board, unloading my stuff into a storage locker was done swiftly. In closing, this was my first time using movers from any company. Was not looking forward to my first move in well over a decade so I decided to hire movers for the big stuff. The Move Crew did not disappoint. On the coldest day in 25 years (-27, windchill -40s), schools were closed and USPS wasn't delivering mail, they still showed up and moved me. They were behind schedule because it took them three trucks to get one to start (from the cold weather), but they were honest and upfront with me, smiling and still happy to be at work. They sent five men (at the price of 3) in order to make the move quicker, since they were behind and worried the truck may stop running if idle too long. Even with all that, the final price was still within the original quote they had given me. AWESOME! Chris and David were great to work with. Last year we used Minute Men Movers (DON'T!!!) and were apprehensive based on that experience, but this was the total opposite. They arrived on time, packed the truck and unpacked the truck at our new home in 2.25 hours and that included the 11 mile drive in between addresses. Nothing was damaged due to their attention to wrapping and being careful. Chris even asked about a bedframe wheel he was concerned had been misplaced, but I had picked it up. WOW! I am always leery of movers I haven't worked with because I have a lot of antique furniture, some of which is as crotchety as befits its age. Riku came over for an on-site estimate and I was impressed with his thoroughness in checking each piece for possible frailty. Larry, Tim, and Sam arrived on time this morning, and carefully wrapped my belongings and moved them with efficiency and cheerfulness. They finished well within the estimate range (and, may I say, at 65% the cost of my last move) and nothing is worse for wear whatsoever. Yes! Go with these guys!! From beginning to end, it was a positive experience. Booking was easy. They even called to adjust the time when an earlier time became available. The day of, the guys called me to let me know they were on their way. John, Ethan and Andre were polite, respectful of me and my things and FAST! We were out of my 2BD duplex in less than 2 hours. The load in took a little longer due to elevators being used by people moving themselves (and probably wishing they weren't). The boys readjusted and began taking loads up the 3 flights of stairs. Wow! There was a lampshade that broke when it fell from the top of a floor lamp. I felt bad for them because they were doing so great otherwise. It was not an item of any sentimental value (if it was I would have packed it in a box) and we filled out a report after the move. While doing this, I watched the guys clean up their truck. The truck itself is very impressive and has everything you need to make your move successful. Shrink wrap should never be underestimated...just saying. After a few days, Gunnar reached out to me to follow up on reimbursing me for the lampshade. He offered several options and then I promptly received a check so I could purchase a replacement. Fast. Polite. Efficient. Happy. I kind of wish they were still here helping me unpack. read more
