I reached out to several moving companies to get a quote and True Care was the only company to follow up with me. Not only did they contact me same day, Tyrell, the owner of the company called me himself. After conducting an over the phone estimate, Tyrell scheduled a time to come to my home to further access the difficulties getting up to my third floor apartment, which was located on the corner of a very busy intersection. Once we did the walk through, Tyrell gave me a final estimate. True Care's rates were competitive with previous moving companies I had used in the past, so I felt comfortable hiring them. Moving is always stressful, but the movers made it easy. Tyrell even showed up on moving day to ensure all was going well. In all of my moves, that was a first! The movers were very professional & efficient, ensuring all my belongings were handled with care. I have several antique pieces and all were delivered to my storage unit in perfect condition. They were very polite, friendly & fun. Seriously, who knew moving could actually be fun!?! Tyrell helped me out of a major jam when my buddy bailed on helping me move at 4pm the day before the move! We had about 18 hrs of notice- and he fit me in, just himself- between jobs- so we could tag-team it with another friend. When I called- he told me to check around to see if anyone else had an open booking, as he wasn't sure if he could pull it off, but he told me as a failsafe- one way or another he would be able to help me out if I couldn't get anyone else- and he would drive here himself without his normal team- (since his schedule was basically booked)-- and that's exactly what he did. He showed up and we knocked it out! In a perfect world, we would have had 2 people- but that was mainly because of my last minute notice- so given the extreme circumstances- I cannot ask for anything more. Tyrell was very thoughtful in how he approached the move, giving me two teams/two trucks and discounting the truck/travel costs by 50%, making the final cost very reasonable and competitive. I had a very delicate move. An art studio, which was filled with paintings, sculptures, and a very heavy cabinet. Dante, Rico, and Joe handled everything with such care and attention to detail that I felt completely at ease. They wrapped each piece carefully, treated my artwork as if it were their own , and worked patiently to make sure nothing was rushed. Even the heavy cabinet was moved without a single scratch to it or the walls. As an older woman, I was nervous about this move, but the crew's respect, professionalism, and kindness truly stood out. I recently had new floors installed on the first floor of my home. My furniture was spread throughout my house, front porch, second floor, basement etc. Since I was not actually moving to another location other companies wanted to charge as if I was. Tyrell worked with me to schedule the moving and the price was great. Dantae and Darious were two of the best movers I have ever had. I needed to move at least two dozen boxes, a desk and a cushion chair from Fridley to Woodbury. They loaded and unloaded my items from the van (in which they were able to expertly fill up with no extra trips) in less than 30 minutes total. They are truly Tetris professionals!
