The men who work for this company are angels on earth. I just hired them for the second time--they helped me move into my apartment two years ago, and out of it today. Both times, I was on the verge of an anxiety attack (I hate moving!). Both times, I was not as organized as I wanted to be, and needed some help with packing some piles into boxes (I do not know how to pack, I always make the boxes too heavy). Both times, they worked hard and got everything done fast, and were super polite and cooperative with my requests. They made the day go so smoothly, and I am beyond grateful. these guys absolutely rocked it. we had 3 guys for the move. we also had 2 locations to empty - a 10x10 storage space that was full up, and a 2 bedroom, 2 story apartment. when I initially contacted them for a quote, they quoted me 4 hours, which I thought was really low. but after reading reviews here and other places, I gave them a call. Sarah double checked, and based on what I had listed on the moving form, the 4 hour estimate was accurate. I still thought it was low, but decided to give them a shot. they were set to arrive between 8a-10a at the storage space. they arrived just a couple minutes before 8. by 930, they had cleared out the storage space. at 945, they arrived at the apartment. by 1040, they were done at the apartment and headed to our new house. they got there around 11, and were done by 1215. we have found no damage to any of our furniture, and only one small scuff on a wall. (to be fair, it's a tight corner to the basement stairs, and they were carrying a big entertainment center piece. totally minor) all in all, the total was just over $1000 (hours, travel charge, full valuation coverage, and tip). I can't recommend them enough! only small issue we ran into is that they forgot to call when they were on the way to the storage space, so we had to scramble a bit to get over there. other than that, smooth move. read more

Absolutely the worst movers I have ever encountered. My girlfriend and I had already rented a U-Haul and already had packed some things . We asked if they could assist with just packing and loading and they gave me a quote of $100 per hour for 2 movers. Ultimate moving services (Emmanuel) and I agreed the start time of 8:30. The first movers showed up late at 9 and the second guy didn't show up until about 9:55pm. I was helping them the whole time. They still charged me $250 which I thought was fair. My gf and I have been unloading and I have never seen anything so discombobulated in my entire life . No respect for our things to pack them neatly . Some sentimental things had broken. read more

DO NOT HIRE! These are the worst movers I have had in my life. To confirm appointment they texted at 1 am. Then showed up 45 minutes late I with a U-HAUL truck and no shirts identifying who they were. They started the time clock even though I wanted to see their proof of insurance first. They didn't have shoe covers to move through house. They didn't bring boxes or tape like they confirmed they would. Somebody ended up bringing some a hour into the move. I had an extremely fragile box that I told them needed to be moved upright and carefully. When they pulled it out of the U-Haul it was upside down. When I unwrapped my tv- it was broken- I shared with Emmanuel the owner and he said they didn't break it. They were the ones who moved it from my garage to the U-Haul that was very unorganized. Again they had no moving equipment like blankets and bubble wrap. I should have sent them say when they showed up. I regret hiring them and I hope this review will save someone else. read more

I'm not pleased with the service unfortunately. While the response time was fast and they came same day, the team was unprofessional. My husband and I both heard them complaining which doesn't feel great. They were also slow to unload and used my buildings dollies instead of using their own. While ending service, the team member quoted me $300 instead of the $200 I received directly from Emmanuel. When I refuted the price, he backed down and said $200 was okay. I would not hire this team again, which I'm disappointed to leave a negative review. Hopefully this helps out someone else. read more

(((READ ME))) While residing in the North Metro for 15yrs in a 4br single family rental home, my mother was told she would have to vacate soon because the landlord intends to sell the home now. Well, she gladly agreed and understood the needs of the owner. She shared this home with Grandma. Sadly Grandma passed away from a fall inside this home in 2023 thereby leaving her to reside alone until her son moved in with her (that's me). So May 2024, Mom gets the notice to vacate at the end of June. So we began looking at similar sized homes but they are nearly impossible to afford. For the same size home that she was paying $1,800 for a month, she would now be paying close to $2,600 a month. And we certainly are not buying a home with these interest rates! That said, we found a very pretty home also located in the North Metro just 4 mi from the old residence. This neighborhood has white picket fences and manicured lawns and church bells in the distance. Very nice city of New Brighton near its downtown area. So Mom and I happen to secure a lease and were eager to move. We had a lot of anxiety though because you really never know who these unknown companies will be sending to your home to handle your possessions. We thought we could play it safe by utilizing a moving company who had an ad on Zillow... We were wrong. They came to our house with four guys and two trucks. Some of the guys had suspended driver's licenses and they all had admitted to having felonious pasts. But that's okay cuz life is always about second chances... But these four gentlemen were pretty mean looking. And these tough guys began packing the first truck up thereby breaking a roll top desk and a two bulb floor lamp. And then... They got into a fist fight with each other. I kid you not... There was so much vulgar language and animosity among one another and shouting loudly about how they're going to hurt the other person with violence etc. My mom was disturbed and I was not amused. Well when these knuckleheads simmered down They emptied the three bedrooms on main floor and a living room and kitchen. Then they go downstairs and began moving items out of a workshop and furnace room and laundry room. The abruptly halted and quit. Apparently there was some mouse droppings in the areas of those rooms. Mind you this house is from the '60s and those areas are dark and carpetless. So, they brought only one of the two trucks we paid for to the new residence. The carelessly brought in our items and damaged sheetrock and scratched a living room hardwood floor with our broken items. And the worst part is, they refused to find it in their hearts to bring my mother's bed to the new house. Her bed was clean and well off the ground with a frame. I understand that the company has rules about finding mouse droppings in the house and how it's a biohazard. With these droppings were very very old as we continually check active mouse traps throughout the house without evidence of recent rodents. So my mother who is in her late '60s and has mobility issues and is insulin dependent, was unable to sleep on her mattress for two nights! She was miserable. I had hired a cleaning crew to come the next day to sanitize that basement areas. But this time, I didn't want to rehire those goons because I didn't like their workmanship nor their assaultive behavior. So at 1:00 in the morning, I'm stressed out and have heightened anxiety wondering who I can trust... I go on to Yelp and started reading reviews of a company called ultimate moving Services out of Brooklyn Park Minnesota. And these were glowing reviews about a man named Emmanuel and his crew. So I left a manual a message around 1:00 a.m. ... And he responded at 5:00 a.m. to my long-winded gut-wrenching story and our worries. Emmanuel said he is not troubled by some mouse droppings and would gladly assist us in moving. He arrived promptly our house. He offered as many as five guys! These guys were very proud, obedient, professional, gentleman, with big hearts, and no attitudes. These men are Nigerian born individuals who blew my mind at how efficient and happy they were to work. They were even humming songs from their country and it was very relieving for Mom and I to hear these workers so motivated to simply do a job! Emmanuel's crew not only carefully packed the entire basement on their own truck... Mind you this is not a company renting a U-Haul for the day... This is a manual's truck. A 20 footer. And these guys ended up sweeping behind the laundry machines and packing some of our belongings that we were too tired to complete. They hauled all of our throwaways into our garage. They took all of our belongings that we wanted shipped to our new home 4 mi away and carefully unpacked it and brought it to each and every room and floor we specified in our home without any delay. Then Emmanuel and his crew went back to the old residence and hauled away the junk! He is the best. Hire him now!! read more

Didn't finish the job. Left a large piece of furniture behind and refused to come back and move it. Once I addressed it they claimed it was my fault for not noticing. However the door was left open for moving, and they closed it once they were "done". My dad who has a spinal disease and mom who is in a boot from foot surgery was helping move things as well as I was, even though we weren't required to. I even paid for refreshments and snacks for them during the move to replenish them. You would think kindness would be reciprocated in a stressful time such as moving. read more

His rate beat out 8 other quotes who got back to me within the day or several days later. I told Emmanuel I had a flexible schedule and within just 2 days he had the perfect Monday opening.
