The reason I'm giving them two stars is because my stuff mostly ended up in my new place minus one…read moreitem that was broken during the move. There were a few things that were not great about this move and collectively makes me not recommend them. 1) They were an hour late and didn't call. I had to call them to see if they were still coming. 2) They brought to small of a truck and seem to think that I had too much stuff for a one bedroom. We had to take two trips and they try to charge me for the exccess time on the highway plus their members breaks. When I brought it up the mover said "oh yeah I forgot." I heard this quite a lot later. 3) I was quoted 3 to 5 hours in email for my job. They tried to charge me for 9, including the above. When I brought up that I was quoted 3-5 hours they told me they would have never quoted me that even though it was provided to me in writing. I told them how much furniture and clothing I had when I called to quote so it shouldn't have been a surprise for this or the truck size. 4) My bathroom cabinet was broken in the move. I didn't love it so I wasn't sad about it. The mover said that I would get reimbursed for this. He, again, forgot when I initially got the total at the end of the move and I had to remind them a couple times to ensure I got reimbursed. I did eventually get reimbursed for it. 5) I asked the movers, as I was leaving my apartment, to meet them at the house if they wanted me to stay until they had packed everything up. They said no, that I could go ahead and they would meet me down at my house. When I came back to the apartment later that night they actually left a headboard and footboard in the hallway that didn't make it on the truck. Again he said he "forgot" the item in the hallway. When I called the next day they did send the same movers out to pick it up and were going to coordinate with me to drop it off later that day. No one ever called and I had to call them the coordinate for delivery the following day. If this place could get it together it could be decent but for now I wouldn't recommend them.

They prey on Seniors horribly and we fell victim to their business practices! So much of our estate was stolen and to this day, we often ask ourselves where many of our antiques, artwork, oriental rugs, 1920s furniture and so much more actually went! This company does not care about supplying seniors any information, documents, etc. We were given, "at the end of the day," a bill for $1,200 to clean out the house, IN ADDITION TO THE COMPANY TAKING SO MANY HIDDEN FEES, and there was no discussion with us beforehand, just served it up to us in front of many customers picking up items. It was a horrible experience and we didn't know much about the extra cost. We were angry nothing was told to us ahead of time.. We had a huge estate, this company sent us a check for a measly $250! TO SAY WE WERE SHOCKED WITH SUCH A SMALL PAYMENT WHEN WE HAD SO MUCH TO SELL! We discovered this company took much of our estate for themselves and put most of it in a warehouse where they eventually sell later on and take the full payment ... and who loses? WE DID!!!! I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS BUT THEY CONTINUE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS! We were naive and very trusting. THIS WAS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY THRIVE ON NAIVE SENIORS WHO ARE TRUSTING, LIKE WE WERE. We've tried to work with this company and what did they so? They ghosted us, but before they did this, they referred us to their attorney. WE LOST ALOT! CAN WE SAY THIS COMPANY IS AKIN TO SOMALI FRAUDSTERS???? I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!!!!!

Anyway, these guys were absolutely awesome. Super friendly and great to work with, took good care of my things, and were very open to whatever feedback or requests I had for how to arrange things. Also, I got quotes from a few places, and this was by far the most affordable. Another company quoted me over twice what I ended up paying with these guys. They got a big job done quickly, moving me out of a third-floor walk-up apartment with a tricky staircase that has four turns - I was amazed at how fast it went. And they were able to get my couch down no problem, despite the fact that the company I'd hired when moving in said it was impossible to get up and made me disassemble it on the street. Would absolutely recommend these guys. I'd love to never move again, but such is life, so when I do, they are my first call.

From start to finish, the team was great to work with. Communication was clear and consistent, the project was completed on time, and they did a great job keeping everything moving without sacrificing the quality of the work. The difference in the property is night and day. The new siding and windows completely transformed the exterior, and everything looks beautiful. You can tell they take pride in the finished product and pay attention to the details. Nothing but the facts and no opinion!…read more Scheduled job to start work 3 months after first meeting. Roofing, siding, gutters and additional building. We were told the roofers would use an elevated collection bin for the roofing to avoid damaging the landscaping and surrounding area. Didn't happen. Roofing was completed, driveway and landscaping were damaged. Asked about the schedule for siding, gutters and additional building. No answer. Month later part of the side was done, the contractor loaded up the remaining new box of siding and left. Notified Prominent immediately what was happening but nothing was done. Hired a lawyer who sent a letter to Prominent but neither him or I received a response. My attorney said for me to "keep track of every call/text/email". Two months later the remaining wall was sided but not without damaging our water feature in the landscape. The gutters were to be completed just a couple days after the siding but didn't happen for another two months. We had seamless gutters and the replacement gutters were apparently seamless but used prefabricated corners which created seams. Not what we had. Took another month before addressing the additional building. Well over 50 text/emails and over 40 calls in order to get the job done. Lots of no answers, misinformation, and extreme frustration.
