We also use our own vacuum, a Dyson animal vacuum for personal preference. I went back and forth with the company for 1-2 hours asking them politely to use our product before being told that they can only use their own with essential oils and then being told that Clorox is damaging to the environment and to their workers which we did not suggest. If you would like to use their mixture of essential oils and trust that it will not trigger allergies or reactions then this service may be one to go with. If you want a straightforward clean and want to avoid an argument when you request use of your own products, then avoid this company. Super stressful experience.

I was sitting in the parking lot of my mother's apartment building and when they arrived I did not get any phone call, and had to approach them to ask if they were with Cities Cleaning, which they were. I let them into my mother's apartment for the move out cleaning. At the time of the initial walk through they informed me they would call me when they were close to being done so that I could come see what had been done and lock my mother's apartment. They asked me to enter my number into their phone and I called my cell phone with their phone to make sure they had the number. I asked how long it would take to clean the apartment and they said about two hours. I ran some errands and came back to the apartment two hours later and noticed their minivan was still there. I parked my car and brought out some magazines to read. I did lose track of time waiting for a call, and after about 2 hours of waiting, I went into the apartment and there was no one there. I have no idea how much time I wasted waiting for their phone call, and I was very angry about this. Not only were they an hour late, but then they never called to say they were close to being done or that they were done. I will say that they did do a fantastic job cleaning the apartment, but the whole waiting around for the entire afternoon was not a pleasant experience. Based upon the overall experience, I would not recommend Cities Cleaning, or at the very least, buyer beware. If the communication was better it would have improved my review quite a bit.
