My friend recommended me to them and they had great experience as well! They were very fast in getting me a quote and I was surprised on the quote they gave me. It was much cheaper than others. The day of the move went so smooth. They had the right equipment to carry my valuable things, they were very gentle with my stuff, and they communicated so well!! Honestly, next time I move I would definitely use them again.

James and Mike arrived a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time, made a quick assessment of everything we were moving and proceeded to load everything efficiently and securely. The truck seemed well maintained and they had a ton of blankets to use on the floor and around the furniture. We met them at the apartment and they used the alley to unload the truck given the busy main road (Chicago Ave). They had to navigate four flights (the alley is one level below street level) of tight and steep stairs (old brownstone, no elevator) to the apartment and found creative solutions for tricky corners. They put the pieces back together that were disassembled for travel (recliner, bed frame). James is not a big guy but handled this job in an extremely capable manner; he's strong and obviously very experienced at moving. Mike was very agreeable and they worked well together as a team. The move took 2 hours and 15 minutes total. The clock stopped when everything was in the apartment. They charge in 15 minute intervals and the pricing seemed fair given the difficulty. The charge was $330 including tax. The website lists the cost for two men and a truck at $135/hr. I was surprised that I had to pay at the end of the move in cash or check; I assumed I would be billed later and could pay with a credit card. Glad I had one check in my wallet. We absolutely could not have done this by ourselves even using my son's friends. The expertise needed would've been beyond us and no doubt it would've taken twice as long with damage to the furniture, the building, and us!

Apparently this is the shadiest of all shady industries as searching for movers via Google will attest to. Fortunately, these guys are totally above the board and were terrific with our move. Aaron and his team of two packed our entire house in a single day and I would say did a better job that I ever would have in packaging our stuff. Other than a slight snafu where they didn't realize we needed a parking permit for the moving van on the SF receiving end, everything went far smoother than I could have ever hoped for. I highly recommend them for making such a stressful event very not stressful for us.

I forgot to move our trash can out to the curb due to heavy snow. After the 6 inches of snowfall accumulation overnight most garbage haulers would not have bothered to get my trash, however the Vierkant guys ran through the snow and grabbed my garbage anyway. Continuation from last review~…read more As my moving journey continues, my husband surprisingly enough, actually opened up his check book and decided it would be wise to hire a couple of guys from a moving company to help us. ( Trust me, it would have been impossible without them ) The movers did show up a little late, but I am going to assume it was due to GPS systems not registering for my particular address. Once they did arrive, I showed them around, and pointed out what needed moving, which was basically everything and they all dug in right away. Those four men were right on the ball, being careful, yet using the time as productively as possible. They definitely have their system down with who does what. The truck that we rented ( see previous review below ) was packed carefully while trying to use ever single space effectively. My husband hired four men from 8 AM to 1 PM and at around 12:30, it was realized there was no possible human way, the truck that was rented would be large enough for everything that was needed. of course, I panicked for a few reasons. 1. I knew the movers were hired until 1:00 2. My husband was on a business trip with no way to talk to him about this very unexpected ' surprise ' 3. I was well aware that I would now be driving a moving truck from Minnesota to Washington. ( Fun, Fun, Fun ) So, after my initial panic, I asked the guys if they could stay longer and their attitudes were so great and they all promised me they would not just leave me in this mess. The supervisor said I would just need a 17 foot truck and 2 dozen more moving blankets. I called Endurance Automotive to let them know I would need another truck, but unfortunately they had none and wished me the best of luck in finding one that size during moving season. I finally did find one in Burnsville and the supervisor from Robinson drove with me to pick it up, and drove the rental truck back to my place. When we arrived the other guys had my garage all packed up and ready to move the rest of the things in the new rented truck I do not have a clue what I would have done without these guys willingness to help me past their hired time when our house was closing the next morning, and I still had a ton of things to be packed and out of the house. Fantastic doesn't even come close to describe these guys! Booked them through U-Haul for a…read moreWednesday, April 29th move. They called me the same evening I booked them and set up the time. The night before the move, I ran to the new house and discovered it wasn't ready. The whole downstairs still needed to have the carpet installed and the whole house still needed to be cleaned. It's after 11 pm on the eve of the move! Robinson Moving Systems was coming at 9 am! I called them at around 11:30 and left them a message. A few minutes later they called me. I explained the problem and they were able to reschedule me for Saturday 9 am. Saturday morning arrived, Robinson Moving showed up almost 30 min early. I contracted for 2 movers for 4 hours, 3 of them were there. I walked them through the house and they got started immediately. They put padded covers over the doors and railings to protect them from damage. The U-Haul I rented was the largest, 26 feet. Watching these guys (and gal) move and pack up the truck was amazing, they know what they are doing and they worked fast and efficiently. Every square inch of that truck was used. I drove the U-Haul to the new house with Robinson Moving following. When we arrived I gave them the walk-thru and again, they got right to work. Unloading was faster. They even took the time to put my 7-piece wall unit/desk together for me! Start to finish everything took about 4-1/2 hours. The only break they took was when they were sitting in their truck for the 6 mile ride to the new house. They didn't charge for the extra 30 minutes and they didn't charge for the 3rd person, so there were no surprises at the end. They were also some of the nicest folks I have ever met. Most importantly, there was absolutely NO damage to anything!!! NO belongings were damaged, NO walls, doorways, doors were damaged, everything was perfect! They earned my business! I HIGHLY recommend Robinson Moving Systems for anyone that needs this type of service!

I don't rent very often and when I do it is usually a truck for moving. I was in between…read moreapartments and had to rent a truck twice, once to move from apartment to storage and another time to move from storage to apartment...You get the idea. My first experience here was really easy, the truck was $39.99 + Tax and suited all my needs. There was some confusion over my method of payment, they authorize a card for $250 for deposit then you get charged after the rental is returned for whatever the cost is plus mileage, gas, etc. The $250 then gets put back on your card, well in my case they accidentally charged my card, luckily they were able to refund it and there was really no harm done. My second experience was just as easy, I asked for the same thing I had a month ago and there was no questions asked. Once I payed I notice the rate is suddenly $49.99 + Tax. There is no price listing I can find on the web site and when I asked about the change I was told they just moved their rates on the 1st of the month. Seemed a little fishy to me especially since it was May 1st and I was specific in asking for the same thing I just had less than 30 days ago. I would think at the time i was filling out paper work before actually renting the truck someone would have mentioned, "Hey, by the way our rates changed starting this month and it is different from your last rental". I didn't really feel valued as a customer who came back twice in a month to rent equipment and was a little upset I wasn't informed about the change in price. I guess I will stick to my normal process for renting when I need to...Cheapest Option Wins.

We hired 3 movers for 2 hrs to load a 26 foot truck for our move from St. Paul, MN to TX. 2 men…read moreshowed up 10 minutes late and the other one showed up 10 minutes later. We attempted to communicate with them about the fragile totes, the really heavy items, and how my husband wanted it in the truck. It is important to note that our house was on a hill with a sheepish driveway. They smiled, nodded, then did what they wanted to. One man was on his phone most of the time. My husband was furious. They rolled my antique buffett down the driveway, my mcm small tables are all scratched up, and thre totes are busted. I realized after the first 35 minutes that this was not going to happen in a timely fashion so my husband and I started helping unload the house and the garage ourselves. We are in our late 50s and moved with more purpose than these 3 young men. It was the most stressful move of my life​. They were uncommicative, oviously took no care with literaĺly everything we owned, and did not bring plastic wrap for the furniture, did not bring drop clothes, and only one small dolly. I called the owner when they were there about the lack of supplies. He said they have a dolly. Wtf. This was the most horrible experience we have ever had with movers. I know that movers are expensive up there but please pay the extra money and look elsewhere. I am not trying to hurt the company but others need to be informed and aware. I wanted to leave a Google review but none available so this was the only venue I could find to review.

Both times, I was on the verge of an anxiety attack (I hate moving!). Both times, I was not as organized as I wanted to be, and needed some help with packing some piles into boxes (I do not know how to pack, I always make the boxes too heavy). Both times, they worked hard and got everything done fast, and were super polite and cooperative with my requests. They made the day go so smoothly, and I am beyond grateful.
