When they arrived they took a quick look at amount of items and then got to work usually taking 2-3 boxes per trip to truck. They wrapped items in blankets then plastic wrap to keep safe or just plastic to keep drawers in place. They even moved and loaded all the extra random items like packages of toilet paper and a bag of canned food. At the new place they laid down rugs and plastic to protect the floor as they moved items in. They made sure furniture was placed in the area we wanted and even helped adjust as needed. Overall a job well done and it ended up being on the lower side of the estimate.

I was paying for boxes and time which was quoted 3-5 hours. So around 11am I asked were they almost ready as i had to get my apartment keys, etc. They said I could go ahead and they would meet me there by 11:30-12:00. Well they didn't show until 1:30. The movers told the apartment it would take 45 min to unload and it took 3 hours! The price doubled so I was paying way more than I agreed to but they make you pay on the spot. i was exhausted and they don't take any wrapping paper or boxes which they used tons of...feels like they work slow and use lots if boxes to mske money. Did not quote well. The movers said I could leave things in my dressers, but my jewelry was all jumbled up and falling out of the dresser when it arrived. On top of it all the movers didn't lock up and left a door open with the garage door open after they told me to go ahead and I explained a couple of times how to lock the door, etc. They never told me my house was unlocked with doors open when they arrived so I went back to my house the next day and found it wide open all day and night. That tells me that either the person estimating the cost is inept or he was specifically deceptive knowing the cost would be much higher.
