    Lobster Nuggets
    Kristen S.

Everything was fantastic! One of our favorite meals of 2026. We loved the outdoor seating. Didnt feel like we were in the city at all. My only complaint is they could have some music to further enhance the mood. we had lobster nuggets, short rib ravioli, beet salad, lamb, lollipops, the halibut, the duck, brussels and mac and cheese. We also had Saratoga sparkling water in a bottle of Riesling-Trimbach. Each bite was better than the last. This place has been on my list for a while and it did not disappoint! David was a fantastic server. Bill cane to $340 ish plus tip-worth every morsel!

Extremely disappointing experience. We visited this restaurant with our three children, which made the extremely slow service even more frustrating. We waited 30-40 minutes just to see our server, and our food took more than 40 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse, we were repeatedly told that several menu items were unavailable, even though they were still listed on the menu. What was especially frustrating was watching other tables who ordered after us receive their food before we did. The service felt disorganized and unfair. The food did not match the photos shown on the restaurant's website. The duck breast was extremely fatty and undercooked, making it very unpleasant to eat. The scallops were heavily oversalted, which completely overwhelmed their natural flavor. The presentation and overall quality were far below expectations. Overall, this was a very poor dining experience. Long waits, disorganized service, unavailable menu items, and disappointing food. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.

That may be the way they're supposed to be served here but I didn't like that part. The service was super friendly and the food was brought out quickly. I loved that the staff were all wearing Spain jerseys to celebrate the World Cup win! One last thing I didn't like: there's a QR code at your table to pay your bill on your phone which is convenient, but they tack on a sneaky $2 platform fee if you use it, and it takes some extra effort to have your server actually bring you the bill to avoid that. Two bucks isn't a big deal but it's the principle! I'd rather put that amount towards the tip.

Thirty minutes more and we received our shishito peppers and Jamon croquettes. Finally after almost two hours we received the steak dish we ordered. Honestly the long wait for these small dishes had killed our appetite and we decided to cancel the rest of our orders and leave to eat somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend coming here if you're hungry. Good spot to sit and talk for hours

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. Also attached/sister company to American Provisions I believe (great spot in Southie for sandwiches, cheeses, wines, pastries, rare food items).

The sangria here is one of my favorites. Additionally I am a big fan of tapas (small plates) and paella. If you like charcuterie, then the selection here will make you very happy. I had the spiced beef empanadas, the mussels, and jamon & manchego croquetas just to name a few. Also the paella salvaje which had chicken, chorizo and pork belly wow! We thought a drink by the water sounded great. Para Maria is just across the street from a waterfront spot that is very popular, so they don't have unobstructed water views, but we knew the water was there. And on a hot summer day in mid-August, they had the big garage doors open to the outside. It felt like we were somewhere beautiful and relaxing on vacation. We took two seats at their very large bar (which was not very busy at all on a Friday in the afternoon) and ordered a couple of drinks. Mine was their Picosita (Lalo Tequila, Ancho Reyes, Mango, Jalapeno, and Tajin rim), which was perfect for a summer day. I'd love to return with a group, because their margarita pitchers come in lots of flavors/styles (classic, strawberry, lychee, guava, coconut, and spicy), and that would be a great thing to share with friends on the patio of the bar. We didn't eat on this occasion, but I'd be happy to return for more drinks and maybe a bite to eat next time!

For the quality of the food, we thought the prices were incredibly fair, and when you factor in the location, it's a real winner. We loved the ambiance too; it reminded me of the cozy little Italian restaurants in Rome. We started with the focaccia, which was to die for, and the house-made ricotta, also delicious. For pasta, we had the ravioli stuffed with Jonah crab and codfish, and it was one of the best pastas I've ever had. Our waiter mentioned people usually shy away from it and go for safer choices, but I cannot recommend it enough. We also had the tagliatelle bolognese and the pork Milanese, both incredible. We split everything, which was truly the way to do it. We ordered too much in retrospect, but everything was so good that we have zero regrets. Service was great and the wine list was impressive.

A very popular, long-established Greek restaurant in Boston. Last time I walked in and was told…read morethere would be a two-hour wait, but this time I made a reservation and finally got to enjoy a delicious meal! Tiropita Rolls: Very straightforwardly delicious. The bread was warm, soft, and airy, with a rich aroma of butter and cheese; the spread was a rich blend of honey butter, and olives, sweet and delicious, perfect as an appetizer. Tzatziki: A slight disappointment. The cucumber and Greek yogurt spread was surprisingly heavy, a bit cloying, and the pickled kumquats weren't as sweet as I expected, but rather had a slightly bitter taste. The pita bread was thick and soft, probably better suited for dipping in soup--like Bourdeto--than for the spread. Bourdeto: The tomato fish soup was a pleasant surprise. The freshly caught grouper of the day was thick and tender, lightly seared to create a crispy crust. The broth was a vibrant, tangy tomato base, with onions, fennels, and red peppers contributing a sweet, layered flavor. Trahanas, fermented wheat and dairy, added richness and a smooth texture to the soup. The broth also had a slight spiciness, making it incredibly comforting on a chilly autumn day. Portokalopita: The dessert that elevated the entire meal. A traditional Greek orange phyllo, the cake, made from crumbs of phyllo pastry, becomes incredibly soft and moist after being soaked in orange syrup. Every bite was bursting with rich orange sweetness and fragrance, followed by a slightly bitter orange zest--perfectly balanced. Paired with Manouri cheese ice cream, the creamy flavor was incredibly rich and creamy, creating a harmonious and layered flavor profile.

We chose to sit outside; it was a chilly fall evening when we went last year, but we got some lap blankets which was a nice touch, so brownie points for service. My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We got some glasses of Greek orange wine that I can't remember the name of but it paired excellently with the food per our waitress's recommendation. Overall, a solid Greek option if you're in Back Bay! But definitely make a reservation if you can.
