Hit up 14 Global for tapas and drinks with some friends and boy, it did not disappoint!!!! I was shocked to find such quality fine dining tapas on the beach! The flavors were amazing and the vibes of the place were so fun. The service was fast and the waitress's knowledge was extensive. We appreciated being accommodated as a big group!

We had reservations for an early dinner at 14 global. We arrived with a 3 year old at 5:15 and were told our table was not ready. We waited for 15 minutes before our table was ready. There were other open tables in a quiet environment but the manager denied the suggestion from the host to rearrange guests for that evening. We ordered our food immediately after sitting down and the flavors and textures were good. From the look of it, we were unsure if the chicken was fully cooked my husband still ate it. My toddler had the pasta kids dish (with peas and corn) which she loved. The crispy cauliflower was a little bland but my 3 year old also liked it and I ended up dipping it in the street corn gnocchi sauce. There were some spicy peppers in the gnocchi dish but overall very good. I wished that there were roasted corn in there to make those flavors really pop. I did ask to omit the cilantro so maybe the flavors would be better for someone who is not cilantro-adverse. The coconut corn bread was gluten free and vegetarian and tasted more like a sweet cake. Everyone enjoyed it. We ended up taking chocolate tortes to go and enjoyed them on the playground across the street after my toddler became restless at her seat at the table. I really appreciated that their menu listed gluten free and vegetarian items and would likely give it another try if we were in town again (and probably follow the server's recommendations for what's the best menu items).

Best meal of our week stay in the Rehobeth area. We will absolutely be back to 14 global and highly recommend this restaurant. Everything from the service, to the food presentations, the beverage selections and preparation, and to the ingredients, flavor profiles. WOW!!!!. This was the World Series home run of food for us. Out of all the places we've been and this is our second trip down to the Rehoboth area. This clearly is the number one on our list. So you're probably wondering what we had, I'll keep it light, just realize you need to go to experience it first yourself. For our drinks, I had the dragon- and squeezed lime, agave nectar, global habanero infused, El Velo tequila, orange cordial, red alla, salted rim and habanero on top and my wife enjoyed her glass of rosé wine. We started off with the beats and blue salad - roasted red and yellow beets, pickled berries, arugula, watermelon, radish, shallot, whipped, herb, goat cheese, supersede, crunch, basil, mint vinaigrette, it was outstanding, and what a beautiful presentation. Next, we ordered the Mexican Street corn gnocchi - ahi Amarillo and sweetcorn cream fire, roasted poblanos, baby tomatoes, charred, corn, relish, cotija, and micro cilantro, again outstanding and a beautiful presentation. Next, we ordered the harissa lamb chops, cooked medium rare - ras el hanout rubbed lamb, fennel, purée, lemony, mint cabbage, apricot and white raisin chutney and micro cilantro, this dish blew us away. The flavor profile was incredible, and then meat was so tender. And to wrap up our incredible dining experience, we ordered the Togarashi Hamachi Tataki- buttery, seared fish citrus, Ponzo vinaigrette, ginger, horseradish, aïoli, green papaya, watermelon, radish and fennel salad, green onion, toasted, sesame, and micro wasabi again this was outstanding. Don't blame me if you start drooling upon looking at my food photos This is a must experience place

This place was a hidden gem in Bethany Beach! I can't believe I've run by it so many times without stopping in. We came in on a Saturday and were initially drawn to the extensive cocktail menu. The cocktails are all citrus-based, which is something I haven't ever seen before at a bar/restaurant. I ordered the Naked in the Desert cocktail, which was basically a spicy tequila sort of drink that was fruity and delicious. The kick was incredibly strong at first and then subsided. My husband ordered an old-fashioned style cocktail which he also loved. Both drinks were very strong! The food is tapas style and is meant to be shared. We loved the ahi tuna dip, the Brussels with pork belly and the pumpkin pone bread (which reminded us of French toast). The lamb chops were also super flavorful and tasty. Would have loved to get dessert but was so stuffed. Can't wait to return!

So delicious and the employees were so kind and sweet! I would come back again for sure.

It's been many months since my husband and I had a date night out without little ones and we were fortunate enough to visit 14 Global while on summer vacation recently. The menu intrigued me and wasn't sure if my better half would be as eager to eat here as he is not as adventurous as I and he wanted to have a water view. Delighted to report that this was one of the best culinary experiences we've had in many years. We didn't at all miss a water view. The menu, ambiance, decor, service, music are all well orchestrated and executed to thoughtfully provide a superior experience. The service was well timed, kind and professional. The outdoor patio was casual yet intimate. Sadly, we could not try everything on the menu. Every *single *bite was brilliant. Balance of flavors, quality of ingredients and presentation was impeccable. Our top favorite sharables were the lamb chops and scallops. The Brazilian Caipirinha was to die for, both the passion fruit and açaí cocktails. Manager was exceptionally kind when we waited a little bit for the last plate. We really enjoyed our meal here and feel like it's part of our core date night memories... a new standard for us I suppose :) Thank you, 100% recommend and will most certainly return. A very special meal indeed.

Very interesting concept restaurant. Tried a few things on the menu and each one had something different. The service was fast and was packed inside (good music and ambiance). Didnt get good pictures this time around but it means i must go back

Been trying to visit 14 Global for a few summers and for whatever reason we never had the opportunity. We were definitely missing out. We were welcomed in immediately and seated at a very nice table. Everyone ordered drinks. Of note, I had the Twisted Whiskers (a take on Old Hat Gin) and my son had the most amazing Shirley Temple I have ever seen. From there Riley took us on quite the ride through the menu. We enjoyed: The Ahi Tuna Tartare -- This is a special dish with a very hidden, yet welcoming bite The Fried Goat Cheese Balls -- Wow -- Just Wow!! The Lamb Chops -- Perfectly seasoned and cooked. They really melted in your mouth. Mexican Street Corn Gnocchi -- What a parade of flavors. This could be my new go to comfort food. 14 Global was a great experience and cannot wait to visit again.

We had reservations last night 14 global with our good friends for dinner and it was delicious! The restaurant has some unique menu offerings with something to please everyone. They offer a variety of options including apps, entrees and shareable items. They have a bunch of cocktails and beers to choose from too. So we started out with a couple of cocktails, both of which were delicious. I had their Pineapple Pico, which had a pineapple and strawberry pico on top and served in a fun pineapple glass. For our meal we went with the fried goat cheese balls, Mexican street corn gnocchi, and grilled steak mini beach tacos. Everything we had was pretty good and kept us coming back for more. The goat cheese balls were very creamy and came with some drizzled honey to give them some sweetness. The gnocchi was definitely unique but tasted great in the corn cream sauce. And you can never go wrong with a taco, so these were delicious and would be an easy item to order again on our next visit. Our friends also had some duck wings, crab dip, and yellow fin tuna. I sampled everything but the wings, and can attest those dishes were good as well. The service was quick and the dining experience was great. We just can't wait to make it back to sample more items. Make a reservation and you will be treated to a great meal!

Honestly, shook at how good this place is! We were recommended this place last year and couldn't reserve a table the day of (they were really busy last year). This year we made sure to make a reservation a day early. We wanted to try one of each from the menu categories but in the end were drawn to these dishes. I wish we had more soace in our stomachs to consume more. We ordered 4 dishes between 4 and were stuffed by the end. Pros: - great variety of global dishes - reasonably priced for the variety and quality offered - comes out fresh to order Cons -like all businesses in the area, parking spaces *can* be limited based on the time of day

My cousin and I had a fantastic meal at 14 Global. They have a creative cocktail menu and a fun vibe but are family friendly too! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made expert recommendations. The food and service were both excellent! The owner, Tia, provides top notch personal attention too! Highly recommend!

Review for Heidaway - Bethany Beach, DE…read more It was the weekend after Memorial Day 2025--when the beach is still buzzing, but you can actually find parking and order a drink without elbowing someone in a straw hat. We rolled into Bethany Beach to kick off our summer, minus the chaos, and Heidaway was the first place that pulled us in with a wink and a steel drum beat. Right on the edge of the boardwalk, this place has big tropical energy. Think Key West meets Delaware--palm fronds, sea breeze, and the gentle background hum of fun. The outdoor seating is shaded but still breezy, like Mother Nature knows you want SPF without sweating through your shirt. And the music? Bright, beachy, and setting the scene for "yes, we are on vacation, thank you." Service? On point. From the friendly hostess to our magical waitress who somehow knew when we needed napkins, another round, or just a smile--everyone brought their A-game. No tourist trap vibes here. Just good, solid hospitality. Cocktails: We kicked off with a Moscow Mule, chilled in a classic copper mug and strong enough to make you forget your group chat's been blowing up since Tuesday. Spicy, refreshing, and just boozy enough to remind you you're off the clock. And the second drink? Let's call it the Mystery Mai Tai of Joy. We don't remember what was in it. We just know it was tropical, delicious, and made us say "we should move here" at least twice. The Food: Oysters Rockefeller - Baked to perfection, smothered in a creamy, herby sauce and topped with crispy breadcrumbs. The kind of dish that makes you lean back in your chair and toss your plate at a fireplace (if they had one) Lobster Roll & Fries - A buttery masterpiece. Generous chunks of lobster, golden toasted roll, and fries that nailed the crispy-soft ratio. They didn't hold back with the portions, and we didn't hold back either. Beet Salad - A beachy surprise hit. Sweet roasted beets, creamy goat cheese spread, and peppery arugula doing a power pose on the plate. It made us feel like we were balancing out the rest of the meal... even if dessert was already a foregone conclusion. If you're heading to Bethany and want to dodge the madness while still soaking up summer magic, Heidaway is a great spot. Come for the drinks, stay for the oysters, and let the ocean breeze convince you that everything is right in the world--even if only until Monday.

The potatoes were great and a crowd pleaser. Drinks were solid. The pear martini was fresh and sweet. Shirley temple was standard but could've been fizzier in my opinion. We split 4 desserts amongst us: key lime pie, honey cake, flourless chocolate cake, and a peach crumb cake. The honey cake is unique and had a great moist yet spongy texture. The pie was a runner up, we liked the tartness and thick crust. We do wish our server paid more attention to us especially in the beginning. We weren't offered any bread and felt like the wait for food was very long. Other tables who arrived after us had already got their entrees and desserts while we were still waiting for mains. He also didn't check up on us like he did with the surrounding tables. The young bus boy however was great and kindly helped us in between.

I will summarize my four most recent happy hour off season visits. We were first here at the bar with my six family and friends. Well finally the off season happy hour half price dinner entrees have finally returned here starting around mid October with pretty much the same entrees and menu as last year. They subsequently updated the half price entrees in early November. All items have pretty much returned here except for some new entrees. The good news is that at least two new half price happy hour dinner entrees were added including the surf and turf with espresso encrusted 4 ounce demi filet mignon with two skewered shrimps, yukon mash, tomato garnash with blue cheese in the middle of the tomato for $40 or half price for only $20. I never had espresso encrusted filet mignon, therefore I ordered and enjoyed mine medium rare. I could barely taste the encrusted espresso. I ended my dinner with my favorite Fiddlehead's draft honey porter for $6. My total bill was $111 with half price discount of $36.50 so my final bill was $77. On my second return I enjoyed my ahi tuna rice bowl with broccoli, ginger fried house rice, sprouts and ginger vinaigrette for $36 or half price for $18. My total bill was $72 excluding gratuity. On my third return I again enjoyed the espresso encrusted 4 ounce demi filet mignon, which I had ordered medium rare, but was over cooked to medium. I did not complain about returning my filet for a replacement, however I did show it to bartender Dennis. Next time I will order my filet rare. On my fourth return I enjoyed my usual cosmos and my ahi tuna rice bowl which was always properly cooked ahi style. Bartender Dennis always remembers I prefer a little extra spice, without me even asking for my Sriracha. Dennis recommended both of the above entrees. See my most recent pic of the new menu. Chef Cowan waved to me at the bar. Bartender Dennis served us very well supported by our usual excellent recommendations and conversations. Chandra and Cameron also said hello. The staff here are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. On Black Friday I purchased another $1k in gift cards for the off season from Off The Hook and Hooked in OC. Needless to say we will continue to return here for happy hour to spend our $1k.

The food and drinks were outstanding across the board. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Patatas Bravas were a favorite of mine. The cocktails and mocktails were excellent--the house Negroni was one of the best I've had. One thing worth noting: this is definitely a lively and loud space. Great for groups, celebrations, or an upbeat dinner night, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a quiet or intimate evening. The interior of the restaurant was also extremely dim. Because of where we were sat it was extremely loud and I felt a little stuffed into the seat since there was a party of 5 directly behind me sitting. The menu is expansive. We obviously celebrated with a bottle of wine and our server Nina (I think that was her name) was very attentive and always made sure our glasses were filled. The bread was delicious and we decided on a couple tapas. It was hard to eat just because the table was tiny. The food was beautifully presented and came out staggered which was nice. The steak was great, the calamari was very standard. And the crab fritters tasted like a lot of filler.. our favorite was the mushroom and scallop risotto. I'm not a scallop girl but the risotto was cooked beautifully and had such a savory unique buttery flavor that I'm still thinking about! I'd come here again but 10000% please make a reservation!! The ambiance is vibey and the food was pretty good. Be prepared to spend some $$ here!
