Jordyn absolutely made our night. She gets 5 STARS Mangos gets 2. Jordyn was friendly, attentive, funny, and somehow managed to keep a smile on her face while working in a dining room that was 85°. I know that because I saw the thermostat. At one point she was even helped us take our daughter to a cooler part of the restaurant because she was getting so uncomfortable. That's the kind of service you don't forget. Give Jordyn a raise--she earned it. As for the restaurant itself, the view of the boardwalk is beautiful, and the wings were surprisingly excellent. The tequila certainly helped. But this place is a 2 Star meal...pretty underwhelming, and the 85° dining room was just gross. That's an easy fix, though. Mango's has a great location and an employee who's worth her weight in gold. Fix the air conditioning, keep making those wings, and take care of Jordyn. She deserves five stars, even if the restaurant isn't there. read more

Mangos was a cool place. Great deck and view. Quick stop to a drink and a bite. Typical drinks.. but the winner were the Jerk wings. These had decent flavor. And they were well fed chickens ( thick and meaty). Coconut shrimp was good but slight over cooked .. good chipotle dip. Johnathan was a great server. First time visiting Mango's. Party of three- we were seated right away. Our server Alina was sweet, and efficient- it was her first day! The best part of the meal was the appetizer. We ordered the crab and spinach dip, which was topped with lump crab meat, served with tortilla chips. Ordered the half rack of ribs with veggies,and rice and beans. The veggies were barely cooked and overall the food wasn't hot. Two orders were placed for the jerk chicken sandwich however, jerk chicken entrees were brought to the table, so we had to send those back. When the order was returned, it appeared to be just grilled chicken sandwiches, no jerk. Key lime pie had a good flavor, but was dried out. The fries were good,cocktails were good, the view was better and so was the music! read more

We sat down just before 6 PM and the conversation volume level in the main dining area was already quite loud. Some work on their acoustics would help. Had their "Island Crab" soup. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The tomato soup base was all right, reminiscent of Panara's. The crab meat they put in was useless. Flavor completely lost in the tomato soup. This is a restaurant/bar right on the beach. They have typical bar type of food nothing fancy. Crushes are delicious. There are a bunch of kids working there for the summer. We were a bit sad because the table next to us, the kids got these cute decorated cups and we didn't. I figured it was because they had a female waitress. Came to mangos for happy hour and it did not disappoint! Located right on the boardwalk, mangos is a great spot to hangout and grab a drink with friends. The inside has high ceilings with windows that overlook the beach below. The bar has lots of seating and it got progressively busy during happy hour. The bathrooms are in the back corner and they were clean and spacious. We got the happy hour nachos, which we will skip next time. They were seemingly chips with microwaved cheese on top with a smear of salsa. The bartender was great, he recommended "blue Gatorade" shots which we thought were great! We loved trying something new and he even made them in the flamingo bong for us which was so much fun! We had a great time on Saturday happy hour. We sat at the bar in the high top tables and ordered all these wonderful appetizers and drinks. I ordered the crab soup and it was very good with chunks of tomatoes and crab meat. The wings were deep-fried and sauces on the side they were nice size and flavorful The nachos, fries, and enchilada we're all good. My friends ordered different types of grapefruit drinks and enjoyed them. The corona was a happy hour special and it was nice and refreshing. Our waitress was wonderful. Really disappointing experience at Mangos, especially for the price. I ordered the scallops, which were $38, and they were shockingly small. For that cost, I expected a much better portion and overall quality. The plate felt extremely overpriced for what was served. I also got the tomato crab soup, and honestly, it tasted like canned tomato soup with random pieces of crab thrown in. It lacked flavor and definitely did not taste fresh or homemade. After spending almost $50 on my meal, I left feeling disappointed. For a beach restaurant charging these prices, I expected far better food and value. We went here the other day for happy hour prior to the bandstand show. They had $6 mangoritas which were very tasty and strong. They had lots of food options on the happy hour menu as well for about $10 each. I had the fish tacos and fries and my fiancé had the chicken quesadilla. The fish tacos were pretty good, but the fish was a little cold when it came out. The beans they had on the side were inedible. huge disappointment. the food was quite honestly repulsive. i ordered the crab and spinach dip and was instead served straight gruel, and that is not an exaggeration. literally what is this??? the "dip" was the consistency of water, it was cold, no cheese, no cream, and NO SEASONING!! where is the old bay?!?! comically, the dish was served with shredded parm UNDER THE BOWL. you heard that right. not on top the dip, not in the dip. Really enjoy coming to Mango's year after year. The food is consistently good and fresh! Tried the Lobster Tacos, and they were incredible. The chipotle marinade on them hit the spot. Our whole party loved their food! The seafood is very reasonably priced compared to other places. Also, great selection of beer and cocktails! Service was excellent this past visit. Even having little ones with us, we felt taken care the whole meal. Mango's is the best restaurant with a view on the boardwalk! I went there for my birthday with my girlfriend,daughter and son in law for my birthday. The waitress was totally not there. She was only part of the problem. The food was not good. Not to mention she forgot to put my order in until everyone else had their order. I ordered red snapper. I thought she brought me a pork chop when I finally got it. A little shocked by the harsh reviews here! I had a really nice time at Mango's on my boyfriend and I's first night in Bethany - enjoying the gorgeous ocean views, a margarita, and some eats. Sure the food won't necessarily blow you away, but it is exactly what I expected out of a boardwalk/family-friendly kind of beach spot. I enjoyed the almost nostalgic vibes of this place and appreciated that we were seated right away upon arrival on a Friday night. My margarita hit the spot and I went with a caesar salad and crab cake, both of which were more than serviceable. I also tried their shrimp, which comes cold or hot and unpeeled, a really nice option on a hot summer day. Overall I think this is something to make part of your Bethany experience! The pasta was so pre-cooked that it was almost translucent when it came out. As for the atmosphere.. there is none. I mean none! The place is run by kids that have no care for you and can't wait to get paid and get out. The hostesses are on their cellphone. If you have to come here have a burger or the fish tacos. The restaurant is on the beach with great views inside and outside. We chose inside because it is summer and very warm. Our waitress was very attentive. She checked on us often but not too much.
