Came to mangos for happy hour and it did not disappoint! Located right on the boardwalk, mangos is a great spot to hangout and grab a drink with friends. The inside has high ceilings with windows that overlook the beach below. The bar has lots of seating and it got progressively busy during happy hour. The bathrooms are in the back corner and they were clean and spacious. We got the happy hour nachos, which we will skip next time. They were seemingly chips with microwaved cheese on top with a smear of salsa. The bartender was great, he recommended "blue Gatorade" shots which we thought were great! We loved trying something new and he even made them in the flamingo bong for us which was so much fun! I definitely recommend mangos, get here early to grab a spot at the bar for happy hour!

    Jumbo Diver Scallops

Really disappointing experience at Mangos, especially for the price. I ordered the scallops, which were $38, and they were shockingly small. For that cost, I expected a much better portion and overall quality. The plate felt extremely overpriced for what was served. I also got the tomato crab soup, and honestly, it tasted like canned tomato soup with random pieces of crab thrown in. It lacked flavor and definitely did not taste fresh or homemade. After spending almost $50 on my meal, I left feeling disappointed. For a beach restaurant charging these prices, I expected far better food and value. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals I've had in Bethany Beach. Our servers were extremely sweet though!

We had a great time on Saturday happy hour. We sat at the bar in the high top tables and ordered all these wonderful appetizers and drinks. I ordered the crab soup and it was very good with chunks of tomatoes and crab meat. The wings were deep-fried and sauces on the side they were nice size and flavorful The nachos, fries, and enchilada we're all good. My friends ordered different types of grapefruit drinks and enjoyed them. The corona was a happy hour special and it was nice and refreshing. Our waitress was wonderful. We had a great time and it was wonderful to look out and see the ocean. Highly recommend coming here.

    Crab & Spinach "Dip"

huge disappointment. the food was quite honestly repulsive. i ordered the crab and spinach dip and was instead served straight gruel, and that is not an exaggeration. literally what is this??? the "dip" was the consistency of water, it was cold, no cheese, no cream, and NO SEASONING!! where is the old bay?!?! comically, the dish was served with shredded parm UNDER THE BOWL. you heard that right. not on top the dip, not in the dip. UNDER the actual bowl?!?! what even is the thought process here?? i mean thanks for the laugh i guess. i just don't know. is it so unreasonable to have high expectations ordering seafood from a BEACHSIDE restaurant?? i have never in my life felt so compelled to leave a bad review, but my experience here was absolutely miserable. waitress never came to check on us. i ate the chips and left the "dip" untouched, as shown below, and when she came back to hand us the bill she had the gull to ask if i wanted a box. girl what do you think??? didn't offer to take it off the bill or anything ($17 mind you). to be fair, i was super nervous to speak up so maybe that's on me, but like take the hint maybe? smh i was so consumed by my disappointment i left the restaurant just feeling plain sad. on top of the terrible food, the drinks were weak and unappetizing. the hostess at the stand wouldn't look up from her phone to greet us and so another staff member had to come over to get us seated. i wish i could share something redeemable but unfortunately this experience was terrible all around and there was absolutely nothing that could save it

We went here the other day for happy hour prior to the bandstand show. They had $6 mangoritas which were very tasty and strong. They had lots of food options on the happy hour menu as well for about $10 each. I had the fish tacos and fries and my fiancé had the chicken quesadilla. The fish tacos were pretty good, but the fish was a little cold when it came out. The beans they had on the side were inedible. The chicken quesadilla was okay but had too much cheese and not much chicken. Their fries were good. We would come back again for happy hour, but may only order drinks the next time.

Restaurant location is great - right on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk. Large seating area and a variety of drinks, appetizers and entrees. I had the Jerk Chicken Wings. The spice on the chicken was good and juicy. My friend had the tuna sandwich and sadly the tuna I. The sandwich was very dry and wasn't good. Hopefully others had a better food experience than I did. I am sure Mangos is a good place to eat.

Great location! Nice seating indoors overlooking the beach. The decor was fun and the place is family friendly. We had the spinach crab dip and it was good/above average. Then the house salad- (honestly idk how they can charge $12 for a bowl of sping greens w 2 cherry tomatoes) And the cheeseburger- average, (no special seasoning or flare) w room temp fries. Glad we stopped, but not worth remembering for a future visit.

This food is absolutely disgusting.. don't even waste your money or time.... -Crab pasta is full of nasty tomato's -Crab spinach dip tests like gross fish water and spinach -Steak tacos were RAW Chicken fingers and fries only if you have no choice but to eat at this disappointment of a restaurant

Service was good.. Prices for food were good until we were charged $10 just for one shot of rum for the pina colada that cost only $9..... and the pasta from kids menu $8 for literally 9-10 penne pasta pieces with what seemed like little to no butter. Anywho. I did enjoy sitting outdoors.

Really enjoy coming to Mango's year after year. The food is consistently good and fresh! Tried the Lobster Tacos, and they were incredible. The chipotle marinade on them hit the spot. Our whole party loved their food! The seafood is very reasonably priced compared to other places. Also, great selection of beer and cocktails! Service was excellent this past visit. Even having little ones with us, we felt taken care the whole meal. Mango's is the best restaurant with a view on the boardwalk! Absolutely can not beat the views overlooking the boardwalk AND beach!

    What a view! Bethany Beach.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Mango's. The balcony view is to die for! As is the food! My wife loved the Shell Bowl, a shellfish lover's dream! I had a pound of cold boiled shrimp. When it first came, it was smothered in Old Bay - a little much for me. Our server, Ryan, exchanged the plate for another with Old Bay on the side. We'll be back!

Parrot! Was a great drink too!

I think we had arrived right at the start of it since the earlier of our group did not have to pay it. The interior of the place was very cool and filled with plants and plenty of bars. When we were walking around trying to find our group, there was live music being played with a large area for listening and dancing. We met up with our group and ordered a few drinks and were able to watch the sunset on the water. Our first round of drinks were so tasty and good. However, when we ordered our second round, the drinks were much stronger and not as tasty. I think it was a different bartender, especially since we had ordered the same drink of a long island iced tea. We didn't try any food, so I can't comment on that part. The bathrooms were a bit rough; I'm not sure if there was any working AC in the ones I went to 'cause I was so hot! The door stall in the one I was in also didn't close all the way with almost a full inch gap that you could peer into, so I had to pull it close the whole time I was using the stall. Overall, I would come early to avoid the cover fee and enjoy the atmosphere and drinks!

The griot pork is what I always get, most times along with another entree to try out. As an entree I usually get the rice and beans (delicious flavor rice that sells out quick), 2 fried green plantain, a small condiment of "picklie" pickled slaw to add a kick, a small condiment of gravy and a small portion of macaroni salad. I've also tried the whole snapper and Ox tail, white rice with black bean sauce, and the black rice. Honestly everything has great flavor. My faves are the pork griot and ox tail. My only reason for not giving 5 star is that for the price, the portion size has not always been consistent and if they run out of a side I have not gotten it equally replaced with another option. I hope they improve in that area. Other than that, I highly recommend the flavorful dishes.
