I talked with Jeff about the issue I was having at my son's house where y wife and I are currently living, numerous interior and exterior outlets not working. Instead of taking advantage of the situation and suggesting I make an appointment, he advised me to seek out all the GFI outlets and check them. I did so, reset each GFI I could find, and it worked! I had a power issue with my dryer (after having a dryer repair person confirm this), and we contacted Jeff from 1 Source Electric. Fortunately, he was able to schedule me for a next-day visit. Upon his arrival, he patiently listened to my issue and was able to promptly diagnose the problem. He also checked the dryer receptacle to be sure no issues were evident on the other end which could lead to our problem. On top of this, we had a separate issue with our pot light, which he gladly took a look at and narrowed the issue down to a bad switch. He took before&after pictures of the work performed which he included in an email along with his invoice. Oh and one more thing, he put on shoe covers before coming into our house, a minor detail but appreciated on my end. He responded within a couple of hours and was able to come by the house soon after that to help me out. This project also exposed some wiring mistakes by the original builders, which he promptly fixed as well. He even walked me through everything he was doing to help me learn and understand for future projects. Wow. Jeff was amazing. I called and he came over within 30 minutes. I'd been having problems with my lights and plug sockets for 2 weeks. He was here less than 5 minutes and figured out the problem right away. Another electrician had already been out and spent a couple of hours trying to fix them and he gave up. Jeff was professional, polite, efficient and really went above and beyond in cleaning up the loose fuses (not just tightening them back up which anyone could have done and said it's fixed). He also gave me lots of extra really helpful advice about the electrics in my house and how I could improve them. Again, he didn't need to do this but he really went the extra mile. I called Jeff at 6pm on a weeknight with my troubles. Power was out due to space heaters, etc, too much power on the same circuit. He calmly led me down an algorithm that determined my issue needed to be properly diagnosed versus just blanket statements of what needed to be done.
