We requested a quote to have a Generac generator On August 6th and their representative came by the next day, I was supplied the estimate and returned the required deposit on the 9th. I was immediately scheduled an install date for the 11th of September After the deposit was received. The men arrived on the 11th with everything they needed, plumbed for the propane tank, performed all the wiring, installation of control panel and the generator. Informed me of the next day scheduling of the county inspection. Today, they will backfill trenching, replace my landscaping and power up our generator. The purpose of this review is to highlight the many ways that Chandler Electric provided excellent customer service and support to achieve an optimum, cost-effective solution to our home generator needs. We hired Chandler Electric to provide an upgrade to our original generator system. When we built our home in 2007, we put in place a 16 KW Generac unit wired to a single critical load panel. This was not done by Chandler and the resulting critical load panel did not have all the loads we required. We also decided that the ability to run our HVAC systems was a necessity not included in our original plans. Chandler surveyed our needs and developed a plan to feed all our needs and not require any re-wiring of our existing sub-panels. The simplest way to do this was to disconnect our present generator and install three new transfer switches. However, since PG&E has many power outages, I asked if they could keep the original generator in a working condition while they set up for the new 47 KW unit. This made wiring the new transfer switches much more difficult but the team accomplished that task. It also included running a new, larger gas line for the new generator, but keeping the original line pressurized until change-over. One observation that really pleased me was the effort by the technicians to due a very tidy routing of the new conduit. They also did a very complete job of labeling the new breakers and what they controlled. They also would clean up each night so the area stayed spotless. The techs also attached the box housing the lines from the generator to the house in a very attractive way that is non-intrusive to the eye. On the day that the cut-over to the new unit was done, everything worked perfectly, and I could not be more pleased. From system design to actually install, the team from Chandler Electric performed very well. The system works so well, we have had some power outages that we did not even know happened. In summary, when considering a generator for your home, you definitely should select Chandler Electric for your project. read more

The guy they sent out to fix the 8 leaks in the propane line they installed LIED to me and said the propane company told him it didn't need venting. The propane company never spoke with him and charged me $100 to vent it. Chandler owes me $100.00. read more

It has been a year since we hired Chandler Electric to install our Generac generator. Dealing with the Chandler office personnel was easy and pleasant. Justin, the owner, inspected our property, and was very professional and knowledgeable. He made suggestions and recommendations, such as where the Generac should be placed and how powerful it should be. We inherited a Generac home generator with the home we purchased two years ago. I used Chandler in 2021 when the oil cap came off and leaked a bunch of oil; they cleaned everything up so it looked like it was brand new, and performed a service on the generator.
