This was my first time ever hiring a electrician and what a great experience! Brody was clean, professional and such a gentleman. I needed a fan installed in my son's room and he was great interacting with toddler daughter who was very intrigued in what he was doing. He continued to respectfully include her and show her what he was doing. Great guy, keeping the business card for our future electrician needs. Strongly recommend! read more

Able Electric has been around awhile and recently changed hands. The integrity of this business continues to carry on its solid reputation. They explain everything and in a manner that teaches rather than "tells". Glad that the new owner is just as accommodating as the original owner. This work ethic will certainly earn him lots of business in the vicinity. read more

I needed service on a built-in oven/microwave unit. The servicemen were prompt, efficient and very nice! Able Electric has done work for me in the past also and I would highly recommend them for any of your needs that they cover. read more

Above and beyond from Able Electric! I was concerned when my invalid friend was without use of her wheelchair lift due to an electrical problem. She is dependent on the lift for evacuations due to wildfires and for medical transport. So, I suggested she call Able Electric as I have used them for wiring problems and installation of ceiling fans and have been highly satisfied :) Yet, Able Electric surpassed all expectations to help my friend! She called for an appointment and service manager, Andrew, arrived at her home in 15 minutes. The office manager (Zoe) understood the need to prioritize given the at-risk nature of my friends situation. With Andrew's expertise the faulty box was replaced in short order. Plus, he was very thorough in checking out the circuit panel and all connections on the wheelchair lift itself. In addition, the cost was less than expected which adds value to their reputation for service at a fair price! Able Electric showed true compassion for my friend - bringing her peace of mind - and tears of gratitude. read more

Needed a new home electric panel replaced so I called Able to get a quote. Andrew showed up and later that day I received their bid. The bid was similar to the work I had done in the bay area 3 years ago so after checking Abel's license and insurance we decided to go .with Able. It was a great choice Doug showed up and 6 hours later we had a new panel. Doug is a great electrician and a good guy. Very happy with Able electric. I highly recommend them... read more

I'm a realtor who moved here from another area. I have used the same, high-quality workers in my previous home town for years and am very picky. I used Able Electric for the first time here and was really impressed. We had a lot of electrical issues. The tenant had a plug that had gotten so hot it melted his charger. I also had a worker who had driven many nails and one had hit a wire causing a loss of all power in the tenant's garage as a result. The same worker told me he'd been shocked when he plugged the dryer back in. Able was able to come out quickly for us. They sent Doug who calmly assessed and fixed the problems one by one. Within a short amount of time, order was restored. They charged a reasonable price, too. They will be a part of my new team!! read more

I put some bids out for an electric vehicle charging station install that I had purchased on my own and I was a little disappointed with some local electricians' responsiveness, professionalism, and incredibly high bids (especially if not purchasing the charger directly from them). I'm glad I reached out to Able Electric because not only were they incredibly responsive, friendly, and easy to work with, but they also came in with very reasonable pricing. Despite my hectic schedule, they were able to work with me over the phone to get a bid in, had me take some pictures, and had a more than fair estimate over to me that evening and on the schedule for the same week. Doug showed up on time, finished in less time than expected, and was very professional. He offered suggestions that other companies had not considered to install the charger in the perfect location. The end result looked like it was put in when the home was built. A super clean install that works flawlessly. It's very hard to beat this kind of service, expertise, and value in any company, and Able Electric exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I'll be working with them for all my future electrical needs. read more

Kyle was on time and worked to figure out the issue. I know a fair about preforming this type of work and Kyle was very honest and accurate in his evaluation. I would defiantly use Able Electric again. Steve read more

Able Electric has been a "go to" for my family for a long time. The previous owners were top notch. This time around, I worked with Kyle (the new owner) and the top notch service has carried over with the change of ownership. Luckily, Kyle retained the existing employees, so the outstanding workmanship hasn't changed. I can only speak for the employees that worked on our project, but Doug, Daniel and Jeff are making their previous boss (and new) proud with their attention to detail and wealth of knowledge. read more

Great company - They respond quickly and their employees are courteous and professional.

I'm so glad I found Able Electric, they did a great job. My heater wasn't working and my light switches were buzzing and not working. It was an overall repair job that needed to be done and Daniel from Abel electric fixed everything and now I'm so relieved, I finally have heat and I can turn my light switches on again and have them work. Thank you, thank you! I will always call Able if I have electrical problems. read more

I could not be more pleased to brag about Able Electric. From my initial phone call for service to final completion to repair an electrical short at my residence this company is First Class. Pretty good business -- I had an issue with an electrical outlet, and of course found out the reason why it wasn't working right before the electrician got there. My luck! Though, the invoice reads as if they figured out the issue, lol. He was there probably about 5 minutes, and just agreed with what we found out about the outlet before he got there. Overall, I'd recommend them again. This was probably a profitable visit for them, as they still charged the $150 to show up. Oh well. read more

I highly recommend Able Electric. I hired them this summer to install an outlet outside, troubleshoot another outside that stopped working as well as a few things I wanted to take care of inside. I can't recommend them enough. I plan to call them again any time I need anything electrical done or inspected. Well worth the money to hire a professional company that I know now from personal experience does a good job. read more

Excellent service, quality, experience, and very affordable. Jeff, who was the electrician who came out, was professional, courteous, clearly explained what he was going to do and spent time afterwards sharing what he had done. Outstanding workmanship. I was in the construction business for over 14 years and can tell you this company is the best of the best. Kyle and Robin were terrific, as well. read more

AAA+++ service!!!! Able Electric visited my place after I woke up to a scary fishy/ burning smell coming from my breaker box. After speaking with the lovely Kristi, not only was someone at my house within the hour, but I was lucky enough to be serviced by Bill, the owner, as all other technicians were out on service calls. Bill was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, and fixed the issue at almost the same speed at which he had arrived. Also very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend Able Electric to anyone looking for a professional and honest service. read more

A native Cedar Grove resident since 1983, Able Electric is beyond a 5 ***** Rating. They exceeded my expectation. The technician Doug was the most professional Individual I have ever dealt with. Able electric did a fantastic job! They were punctual from scheduling a visit to bid the project to getting me the quote and then getting onsite to perform the work. The project was straight forward and was explained exactly to what was going to take place. Once the job was finished, they informed me and I was invoiced through email. 4 stars is the best I give anyone because there is always room to learn and improve. I don't have any suggestions at this time. Thanks Abel electric. read more

Able Electric is amazing! If I could give them six stars, I would. Kristi and Bill, the main people we worked with, were professional, prompt, honest, thorough and excellent communicators. In the middle of very challenging times they completed a huge rewiring job, got a complete inspection pass and even referred us to a handyman to do the carpentry repairs. Wow!!! And, the job was completed way earlier than was originally estimated and under budget!! How often does that happen? If you are considering electrical work in your area, run--don't walk to Able Electric. A big thanks to Able Electric, to your staff, your electricians and the cooperation of everyone involved. read more

We called to get a quote on installing a bathroom exhaust fan. Kristi in the office is very friendly and got us a quote quickly! It was the best price (and service) that I received so we booked at the same time. Jeff came out to do the work and was very quick which reduced our original estimate even more, yay! Jeff came to us a couple times and asked questions to verify what we wanted and that communication is always appreciated. We went ahead and got a quote for something else on the house and are looking forward to doing business again with them! Highly recommended due to the service, great prices and quality of work :) read more

We love our residential kitchen lights that were installed last week. The two gentlemen that came to our house and put down plastic everywhere they walked, were courteous and professional. Most of all they did a great job taking down our ugly kitchen fluorescent light box and putting up canned lights with a beautiful yellow glow and minimal holes in the ceiling. Our kitchen looks so much better that we wish we would have done it sooner. Reasonable price and scheduled quickly. I highly recommend Able Electric. read more

Thank you Able Electronics for service and patience. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I was requesting their help for replacing an electrical post, first of all it was not easy to find them, PG&E does not recommend anybody. They arrived on time, worked absolutely impeccable, a true ISO9000 quality standard work, everything was done by the book, with County Inspection, and PG&E inspection, all was worked perfectly. I wish to all Electric Companies to have the same high level of quality. Thank you Able Electric again. Iulian (Electrical Engineer) read more

I was tired of the portable generator we were using at home near Pollock Pines and decided it was time to get a whole house generator. I called a couple of electric contractors in the local area including Able Electric. Bill the owner came out and had some very useful suggestions and sent me an estimate a few days later. Their price was much better than the other contractor I received an estimate from using the same generator equipment so I hired them. I like the emails they send about who is coming out to do the work along with their picture. Everything was painless and I'm very happy with their work. read more

We've hired Able Electric three times and been very happy with the outcome. The jobs have gotten progressively more complicated each time and they have done excellent work. We recommend them highly. read more

Able Electric just does it right! I cannot say enough about how much I like this company, which isn't easy because when you need an Electrician it usually means something not good is going on! Jeff showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. Nicole(who is awesome btw) arranged an appointment within my schedule to address the issue. Low and behold, they showed up exactly on time and were done EARLY! What is this craziness? They must be trying to put their competition out of business by exceeding customer expectations. The nerve! Seriously, this is a great, well run company that calls back when they say they will, shows up when they say they will, and gets the job done on time. Cannot recommend Able Electric enough. Oh, and Jeff looks a bit like a young Tim Robbins, not sure he likes it but just for fun be sure to mention it, it does build character! read more

Able Electric installed new panel for our 45 year old home that was in severe need of upgrade. We have heard that our old panel has caused house fires, and are looking to install a 2nd panel (eventually) for the second residence. This was phase one of project. Nicole at the office was always updating us with schedule and timing. She was so gracious, taking a lot of emails/calls during this crazy time. Depsite numerous reschedules and delays due to Covid and PG&E protocol, we finally had Jeff out to due the work. It took almost two days along with a couple other repairs. He was timely, polite, courteous and answered all my husband's many questions. We are impressed with his professionalism and how he even got along with our crazy hyper dog. Bill came out and made sure the upgrade was ready for final inspection; super helpful troubleshooting a panel that was never labeled properly for the house. We look forward to calling Able again when we are ready for the next project. read more
