This is the first time I have posted a review on any site but was so impressed with this company's service I just had to share my experience. We have an older solar system that suddenly stopped generating. I had no idea who to call for a repair and took a chance with Diamond Solar Solutions after doing a quick online search for recommendations. Brad came out 3 days after my initial call and within a few moments diagnosed my problem. He found that the initial installer had failed to ziptie the connectors and wiring so that they would not sit in a puddle of water after it rained. I was so grateful for Brad's efficient and competent service. He practically ran to get his ladder and get right on the job realizing that time was money. He was thorough, personable, and patient explaining what he had found. Diamond Solar Solutions will be my 1st point of contact for any future solar issues. They were honest and straight forward. We had a great experience with Diamond Solar Solutions. They were highly communicative from start to finish -- I had direct cell numbers for the team and could text questions anytime, and they usually responded very quickly, often immediately. Their pricing was the best of the three contractors we considered, and they were also the only company willing to set up a non-export system so we could preserve our NEM 2.0 status and still get permission to operate from PG&E. That was a huge advantage for us, since other contractors were pushing us toward NEM 3.0. Their sales team was patient, helpful, and not pushy at all. They walked us through our options clearly, were honest about scheduling constraints, and still found a way to get us in on a pretty good timeline. They also came up with creative solutions when other issues popped up, which we really appreciated. We're very happy so far with our 14 additional panels and Tesla Powerwall 3. We were having some issues with our rooftop solar system that caused it to shut down, and recently found out that the original contractor went out of business, leaving us with an orphaned system. Diamond was recommended by an industry contact so I called Barak on Monday and he was able to get his foreman Brad to come out by Wednesday. Over the phone Barak was very professional and able to quote their hourly rate. When Brad arrived he was very professional and went right to work diagnosing the system. He found the culprit, a melted connection and made the necessary repairs and inspected the other wires and connections. Being hung out to dry by the previous solar company is not ideal but the crew at Diamond was very professional and had excellent communication. Thanks for the great service! read more

Diamond solar came out to do an install about 6 months ago. I was impressed with the quality of work, communication, and prices. Rob was really helpful and answered probably over 100 questions that I had. The install crew that came out all seemed like good guys, and all seemed like friends, which to me implies low turnover which is a good thing when people are drilling holes in your roof. Had a small issue the other day, and within a few hours of my call, Brad was out diagnosing and fixing the problem. Really impressed with Diamond Solar Solutions. I noticed this week that 10 of my panels stopped producing on a System they did Not install. I called Diamond and spoke to Josh on a Monday. The next day Brad came out to troubleshoot the problem. Unfortunately the app provided by the manufacturer would not update properly and to make a long story short, he would have to come back on Thursday. On Thursday Brad returned and spent an hour tracking down the problem and then making the repair. Again, Diamond did not install this system, the company that did went out of business which was no surprise to me. When I first spoke with Josh I immediately felt like I was speaking to someone who cared about my problem and getting it fixed. Brad had to search the entire system to find my problem which was on the roof. Turned out it was shoddy wiring from the original installers that caused the failure. It took Brad's professional knowledge and determination track this problem down and get the system back online. The charges for the repair were reasonable and I couldn't be more happy with the entire experience. My only regret is I didn't have them install the system to begin with, Thank you Diamond Solar for running an Honest, Competent enterprise. read more

Diamond Solar is absolutely awesome. Had solar installed about three years ago then did a fantastic job. Today I noticed on my app that something wasn't right, called up Barak the owner and within a couple of hours he had one of his guys here they diagnose the problem and solved it in about an hour. Absolutely the best customer service you can imagine. I waited several months to write this review, allowing me time to fully review my new expanded solar and added battery system. Barak is the owner of Diamond Solar. My history with Barak goes back several years when he was the lead installer (prior to starting his own business) for the company I hired to install my original solar array. My wife and I were immediately impressed with Barak, not just with his advanced knowledge of solar systems, but his character. After meeting him we knew we could trust him, that he was a person of integrity. Barak exceeded our expectations on the first project in every way. He is extremely knowledgable and was able to answer every question we had. He was also very patient with me personally as I asked many questions and called him several times. He always picked up his phone or promptly called me back, never making me feel like a burden. By the end of the first project we told Barak if he ever opened his own company we would follow him. In April 2025 we elected to increase the size of our solar array and add batteries. Without hesitation we called Barak (we knew he had formed his own company - Diamond Solar). As with the original install, Barak's knowledge was impressive, relevant and current. His command of the details far exceeds expectations. His pricing is very competitive and the crew he has assembled share Barak's customer service focus and integrity. Diamond Solar was always on time, professional and polite. They treated my property like they would their own. They cleaned up thoroughly every day and always set clear expectations for the next visit. As with the first project I called Barak several times during the project and he was extremely responsive. I can recommend Barak and Diamond Solar without the slightest reservation. The expansion was delivered on time and within budget. Moreover after fully analyzing the new system's performance (I am a numbers guy) over several month the system is performing exactly as Barak said it would. I wish all contractors were like Batak. This is a 5 Star company. We just had our Tesla Powerwall 3 System installed by Diamond Solar Solutions. I have to say that everyone involved from Barak the Owner, Josh the Operations Manager and the Crew of Brad, Chandler and Logan were extremely professional and geared towards providing great customer service. There were no communication or "surprise" issues, just professional clean work. Everything from County permits, to Install and final inspection was handled quickly and efficiently. When they had finished, nothing was damaged on or around our home which is a welcome change from some other experiences we've had with contractors. I've managed crews in the past and I can tell you from experience that finding a team like this is a rarity today and Barak knows this as well. These guys are the go-to team for solar install in my opinion. So far, we're very happy with our Powerwall 3 and plan to expand the system soon. Of course Diamond Solar will be handling that also. We just moved in to this house and noted during house inspections and visit by us the significant amount of pigeons on the roof with their poops and discharges that made us almost back out of the sale , but THANKS a lot to Diamond Solar Solutions who came to the resccue and did a super tremendous job of cleaning and making the solars look bright and clear!!
