I have to say, I am so happy with my decision and my savings even slightly exceeded what my projected savings had. When I began shopping for solar I was pretty new to the concept and really needed to work with a company who was willing to educate me and walk me through the entire process. I contacted three companies and received consults/quotes from each of them. I worked directly with the owner of Sunwave, Jose Alvarez. He was knowledgeable, professional and detail-oriented and he clearly enjoys what he does. That was a huge determining factor for me in making my purchasing decision. I also found his price to be very competitive in comparison to the other estimates I received. I am very happy with my decision to give this locally-owned business my support. I feel like they helped us make the right decisions through the whole process, especially for system size to be able to keep our NEM1 status. The new roof looks great and works really well. I waited almost a year to write this review to make sure there wasn't any water intrusion during the winter storms - not a drop anywhere. They were in the mid-high range in pricing on the bids we got, but I'm happy we spent a little more went with them. Can a roof be sexy? Ours sure is. I've had a 15Kw ground mount system installed in 2016, No issues until last year, when I got an…read more$160 bill. I had to walk to the array and saw one of the inverters with no power output, the other one working fine. I called our solar company and opened a ticket with them. They sent a guy, seemed very knowledgeable and I showed him the inverter panels display. He was on the phone with SMA Support. We'll, they power cycled the Inverter and after 45min, it seemed to start working again. 2 weeks later I sent additional pictures (if you check the background, its sunny all day) of the inverter no power out, each time the display says "Reconnection fault grid". The same guy came out and after another call with SMA support, they supposedly updated the "Firmware". Then it started working again. ok a month later, walking by ...same thing "0" Power output, Again I took pictures and sent to the installer. He came again but this time I kind of demanded to have this thing replace. The installer said SMA wants me to be in front of the unit when it happens. Three times, they didn't fix it. He left and it was working again. We'll needless to say, I took additional pictures of it indicating "Reconnection fault Grid" I sent them to the installer he said he calling SMA again to open another ticket and he'll get back to me. Later on that day, he got back to me, saying SMA Support wont replace the inverter unless he is "On-site" to determine if there is a JCP&L power company issue. I told him, doesn't SMA know I have 2 - SMA 6000 inverters and the other one has never had an issue. No outcome. Today I sent the installer more pictures and the S/N of the bad inverter (again). Nothing happening, except me being charged for Power from JCP&L. DO NOT BUY SMA EQUIPMENT, THEY DO NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY THEY SAY THEY HAVE. BTW I have every TXT I sent to the installer and all pictures of the inverter being bad, are saved. If you check the properties of the pictures, those are the dates its happen.

I waited a month and called Velocity Solar on a Monday. Ron Riisager came out that afternoon, confirmed the need to replace the system and told me what it would cost. His price was less than I had expected and we signed a contract that day. The next day, Tuesday, his crew showed up and removed the old system. On Wednesday another crew showed up in the morning and replaced the roof tiles. On Thursday morning the installers arrived at 7:30, and had the new system producing electricity by 11:00 AM. Before they left, the Velocity Solar crew painted the inside and exterior walls where the work had been done, and cleaned up. The workmanship is excellent. All the workers that came here were efficient, very friendly, and helpful. Any question I asked was clearly answered. This new line was in case we ever wanted to replace the cooktop with an induction cooktop. Most recently he came back to move the junction box, as we had decided to get that induction cooktop after all, and it spec'd a junction box lower down than Mike installed. (Of course, if we'd picked a cooktop ahead of time and had the spec, this extra trip would not have been needed.) Within a day, he provided a formal quote, which was very specific in scope down to grade of wiring, and was able to e-sign and start. Because the contract / scope of work was very clear we were easily able to upgrade to better wiring easily. (Aside: other company provided me a quote, it detailed what work they weren't responsible for, what they were doing in general but no specific materials. When I communicated with them about changing or expanding the scope, it was only with difficulty and no explanation of cost increase. It felt like they didn't really want to do this project.) Regarding the work done -- everyone showed up on time, and each person was pleasant to have in our home. They worked as a team, with good communication. Professional and friendly. In my opinion, this has been one of the most unprofessional electric companies I've ever dealt with. The customer service over the phone was rude and unhelpful, and when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, they couldn't even locate one for me. I felt completely dismissed and ignored. The worst part was my experience on the road. One of their company vans drove aggressively and carelessly, cutting me off on the freeway, flipping me off, and not letting me cross the intersection when it was my turn. It was terrifying, unsafe, and completely avoidable. The behavior of their drivers shows a shocking lack of training and professionalism. Overall, based on my experience, both their phone staff and drivers are extremely unprofessional. I strongly hope the company addresses these serious issues, because no customer--or anyone on the road--should have to endure this kind of behavior.

I removed it from the wall to find that the wires had been cut intentionally. I would street clear of this co.

He has his apprentice with him which is fine but even then he didn't completed the job on time. They were practically at my house from 10 am till 6pm. Also, he was supposed to ask for permit application from city of Roseville and promised to get back with me about it and never did. It has been over month now. The switch for my ventilation in my master bedroom should be automatic turn on/off. It didn't shut off the first time even though I try turning it off manually. I called and he came back I believe the day after or a day later to fixed the issue. He ended up showing up at my house pretty late - close to 9pm. I do remember that he apologize though but my patience was getting thinner at this point. He asked me if we want we reschedule. The fan noise and being on all day and night was quite annoying. Great guy and service but I felt like he over promised and I think that affects his credibility.

He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

From the initial estimate request, I was contacted just a few hours later and Israel was able to come out the next morning for a quote. The price was better than 2 other estimates I received and included all of the permitting/SMUD details that needed to be taken care of. The day of the service, there was great communication and everything with the job went smoothly. Israel and David let me know when addition things were going to be needed and explained the reasons why changes needed to be made. The job site was left extremely clean and the work area looks better than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs. An added bonus is they are a Veteran owned company.

The problem is, come to find out there is a clearly labeled breaker stating "EV Charger." Blake did not ask about this or even mention it. Just wanted to get me to move forward with the $1400 proposal. Insult to injury, he was not friendly in the slightest. Usually scammers try to turn on a bit of charm but he didn't even do that haha.
