Armaan and Kano showed up this morning a few minutes early and immediately congratulated us on our newest arrival. They were respectful of our home and busy schedules and handled the install in a timely manner. They cleaned up their workspaces and were sure to leave our home the way they found it. I am pleased to say our AC is working and house is cool ahead of this heat wave. I can't recommend these guys enough. They did one hell of a job. And shoutout to them for employing a veteran. True to their word they phoned me a week later with the information. I left a voice mail message after hours on a Monday, and I got a return call Wed morning. I was told Mike could come for an estimate either Wed or Thu. A few hours later, another call said he'd be here in 20 minutes (he was, to the minute). My husband and I explained the three jobs to Mike (one big, one smallish, one small). He gave us his thoughts, and said he'd email an estimate that night. He did that, about 5 hours later. The quote seemed reasonable, so we set an appointment a week later, to do one part of the job that we needed done quickly. He came as scheduled, and did a great job changing a duplex receptacle under our sink to a quad. This required cutting the cabinet (and, I assume, the drywall) to fit the larger box & receptacle. But there was no trace of debris at all. I'll update this review once the rest of the work is completed (no rush for these, so it'll be a while). In the meantime, I highly recommend Mike for any electrical work you need done.

They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time!
