We picked different lunch set menus which comprised of various dim sum items, as well as a cucumber and wood ear mushroom appetizer, Ibérico char siu, spicy wontons, fried rice and dessert. We shared everything. I thought the dim sum was good -- nice presentation and tasted on point. I especially enjoyed the vegetable dumpling and the mushroom dumpling. The restaurant's interior is decorated in sage, forest green hues. Contemporary and very comfortable. It reminded me of M on the Fringe from back in the day except the colors were different and the dining room was a lot more crowded. The one at Madame Fu is nicely spaced out. Service was hit and miss but mostly good. A nice place to have a meal after touring Tai Kwun.

Some of my family members in HK claimed it to be one of the best restaurants in Hong Kong. Certainly when I walked into the restaurant, I was amazed by their incredible interior and dining space, also had the view of the harbor. They have huge dining hall that easily fits few hundred guests. We ordered pearl shrimp dumplings, crab cake, roasted duck and waygu beef noodles soup for our meal. All the items had amazing flavor. Roasted duck had delicious crispy skin. I had never seen waygu beef in a soup dish before. The soup was mixed with vegetables, little spicy, but full of flavor. The service was top notch at the restaurant. All the staff members were super attentive, making sure water glasses/ tea cups were full all the time, cleaning out empty dishes and helping guests with all other requests. Dishes were served in short time, only the baked crab cake took long. The restaurant also gives 20% discount Marriott Bonvoy members. A few noteworthy dishes include: - Cumin lamb pan-fried buns: Incredibly savory, well-spiced. - Matsutake vegetable dumplings: Flavorful, very fresh Asian veggies and thinly sliced matsutake mushroom. A refreshing, tasty option. - Barbecue Iberico pork rice roll with honey glaze: Perfectly tender, succulent and slightly sweet without being overly fatty. - Almond-studded taro shrimp puff: Taro puff meets shrimp ball, with shrimp perfectly wrapped in a thin layer of taro underneath the almond studded exterior. My previous visits to three-starred Michelin (Hong Kong restaurants) were disappointing -- their…read morefood was bad. Thankfully, this being only two-starred somehow exceeded them. At the very least, it meets expectations of a good restaurant. On the food side, the Blue Lobster dish is top-notch for what it is. On the other hand, the Sweetened Pistachio Cream initially fell flat -- until I discovered that mixing in the accompanying sugar coated pistachios gives the texture and some sweetness necessary to enhance the otherwise flat flavor. Unexpectedly, my favorite thing came from the petit fours. An unassuming almond shortbread cookie that proved the perfect complement to the otherwise lackluster Pistachio Cream. The outstanding thing here is the decor, for those who like luxurious opulence. Settled within the St. Regis Hotel, modern luxurious grandeur exudes throughout. Something that photos can't capture, but can be experienced in person. Service is on par for restaurants of this caliber, with the staff going above and beyond. I was super impressed when a waiter proficiently pulled out a flashlight to spotlight an abalone so I can take a better photo. Kinda funny. And a first for me. With Hong Kong being the paradise for food, amazing restaurants can be found for all price ranges. Why spend on a Michelin Star one when you can find way better food elsewhere? With a restaurant named Run, maybe I should have. But I did enjoy the decor and service. They were impressive.

At first, I thought I was having an allergic reaction... then I realized it was the chicken! I had to order coconut juice ASAP. Overall, the chicken was very delicious - tender and juicy. The congee was thick and creamy, and the pork liver and fish belly were cooked to perfection. The shrimp wontons were also amazing! The service was great, and the space is very clean, well-decorated, and spacious.

It's a well recognized, popular place in central Hong Kong, located by Victoria Harbour. I had heard about this place from before visiting Hong Kong. Tim Ho Wan, which is a one Michelin star rated famous dim sum place, was at the top of my list for Dim sum but we couldn't make time for it based on our sight seeing itinerary. When we got here, there was a wait but the line was moving fast. You have to mention to the front door receptionist about how many people you have in your party and you get a number. Once your number is called, you get seated. Once seated, a server comes and places plates and silverware and offers you water and tea. Tea is complimentary. I have heard that some places in hong kong charge you for tea while you are under the impression that it's complimentary. The way it works for ordering dim sum items here is that servers constantly are around pushing carts full of variety of food items. You with flag them down or when they come by your table area, you tell them what and how much you want of the foods they have on their cart. There's a list of items on the side of the cart to tell you what all they have in that cart. Once you are given what you wanted, the server marks on your bill what you got and how much of it. Later, you take that bill to the cashier and pay. We ate a lot of variety of foods. Dumplings, buns, fried rolls, roasted pork pieces, and mango oriented dessert items. It was all delicious and good. We loved it. It was worth the visit. This place is good for anyone (locals and tourists). It's in a nice setting. The restaurant room looks like a banquet hall room with white cloth tables, chandeliers and servers in uniforms. Go check this place out. I highly recommend it. It's worth eating their dim sum because it's really tasty and good.

We also got the red bean mochi bun and regrettably didn't get to try the green tea bun. All the dimsum was delicious and came out super fast. They also have set lunches for 2 people / 4 people around 40-70 USD. I will say the quality and the atmosphere is worth the money once in a while. You just write down on their list of the menu what you would like pretty simple to follow. Some things we ordered were the cha siew bao, custard bun and shrimp/pork i think bun? Fried squid, spicy noodles, fried rice, spicy dumplings, fried chicken and glutinous rice cake which looked like ddukboki (however you spell it in korean) but it was kinda like rolled up chow fun noodles. Best thing we had imo were the fried chicken, fried squid, custard buns, cha siew buns, spicy dumplings and fried rice. I just didn't like that type of noodle and the shrimp/pork bun was what i can get in NY. The fried rice was nice and crisp, squid was seasoned well and came with a good amount, fried chicken was also fried well not too greasy. The rice cake wasn't bad but wasn't that memorable. Definitely try the custard bun and get your ig/snapchat readyyyyy for it to look like its popping or puking hehe. Service was decent we got tea pretty often :) all our dishes was like close to $90 usd which is expensive
