This restaurant is housed in a grand dining arena. It is architecturally excellent. There are beautiful lighting fixtures hanging from the ceilings and the walls and the ceiling travel up to the sky. Truly, it is a beautiful environment. But, like the last time I ate here with my wife, I jokingly asked, "Am I going to get a sunburn?" Meaning, the lights are so bright in this restaurant at night, it is almost unbelievable. From the perspective of eating in fine dining establishments across the globe for much of my adult life, I can say with a bit of experience that I am very surprised that they do not dim the lights in this restaurant at least little bit.
In terms of what they serve, it is somewhat Asian Fusion meeting modern Western sensibilities. They, of course, have a great wine list. And, a number of dishes that you may not expect to find in other restaurants of the area. Overall, the staff of Dynasty are very aware of their clientele and they take exceptional care of them. The food is good; not great, but good. Plus, I did discover a great bottle of Italian wine the last time I dined here and I believe that is what you can expect from this restaurant; a unique and enlightening dining experience.
I do have a couple of thoughts about this restaurant, however, that as a potential diner, you may want to take into consideration. As stated, the lighting is very bright. But, that is something you can deal with if you want to. One thing that kind of bothers me about this restaurant is the fact that when I ordered that nice bottle of wine I just discussed, they kept it in a common area, on a table, a few feet away from where we were sitting. Everyone understands that when you order a bottle of wine the staff is expected to keep that bottle of wine on your table. That is simply understood protocol. They should not move it to a common area where it may be exposed to the other food and the handling of the various staff. They did this with the bottle of wine I ordered and also with a soup that we ordered in association with our meal. Once again, the staff was very conscientious, and they did keep our wine glasses filled. But, keeping the wine bottle away from the table is just not what is commonly done. And, I believe, this defines the overall understanding of this restaurant, at least from the perspective of an experienced, discerning diner like myself.
But, again, the staff is very nice and very attentive. The food is pretty good. And, you may discover that great bottle of wine. read more
