This is a really good Shanghai style restaurant in Hong Kong, it is located in the Elements mall in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Restaurant has a modern look, it was full but fortunately we were quickly sited and we were a party of 7 also, the menu is in English too it should be easy to order for non-chinese speaking people, it is not a cheap restaurant but the quality of ingredients and service is very good.
We ordered:
- Deep Fried Fish in sweet and Sour sacue.- I have tried this dish in China and this one was excellent, the fish comes deboned and perfectly cooked and the flavour is so good.
- Signature Pan-Fried crispy pork soup buns.- very good too, they are much better here than the ones I have tried in USA.
- Braised Angus Beef.- this was the best dish of all, beef was very soft and the taste was incredible.
- Hairy cream crab with silken bean curd.- the dish was good, it was more like a soup but with good flavor.
- Noodles with sesame sauce.- this was also one of the best dishes, the sesame sauce was really really good.
- Sweet and Sour Pork.- perfectly cooked and with the right sweetness.
- Shrimps with Black Truffle.- It looks like truffles are very popular in Hong Kong, most of the restaurants in HK I went had a truffle dish.
- Fried Rice.- It was good.
- Pork Belly Bao.- pork belly was really good and soft.
I was even planning to go back to eat here again but I ran out of vacation time so hopefully next time I'm in HK I'll eat here again. read more
