The shrimp itself was cooked to perfection and did not have any mushy texture nor overcooked chew. The noodles were as springy as ever and definitely tasted as much as they were worth. The broth was the clear winner whether or not you're the type to add some red vinegar or not. It is a broth with clear depth and flavor that does not overwhelm the tastebuds, nor send them to monosodium glutamate shock. But, like the mustard greens that came along with this meal, I wish both of these were actually temperature hot when they served it to us. It was so good that I have been there at least 3 times during my 1 month visit! They have set menu as well as you can order individual items. The set menu is slightly cheaper, but the perks is that you can order drinks at discounted price! Their soy milk drink taste really good and it is at only $5 (as compared to $15 regular price) if you have the set menu items. We tried both types of wontons and we prefer the one with wood ear more. We also tried their beef tendon, which is huge portion and taste pretty good. I will definitely return next time when I visit!
