While we were in Lisbon we wanted to try some authentic things and this was one of the places.
if you go try to call and make a reservation. we went with no reservations thinking it would be like other places in lisbon but this place gets crowded. we got there as a party of two and all the tables were seated or reserved. so we don't speak portuguese and didn't know the "culture" of waiting for a table. we were told to just stand here, mind you there is no waiting area we were in the way of waiters going by. then we were ignored for like 15 minutes. we finally got a table so they weren't ignoring us , it just felt that way. more and more people started coming so we got in just before the "rush"... it was already packed.
they waiter was really cool, he gave us an english menu and explained different items to us.
it is really fairly priced not too expensive.
its located on the river but no real good views of the river, outside seating area by the water was closed off.
the food is delicious, they grill most things right outside on the patio.
don't over order you will be tempted because everything looks so good.
i would absolutely go back, and recommend that you try it if in Lisbon. read more
