Easy peasy 5 stars…read more Tempe Eats has a cool concept, there are several smaller restaurants that are setup in a food court deal, you use the QR Code to get your food. They have alcohol which seems to be sold by a different company-- Anyways chik pop is just amazing. I got the OG Sando spicy which was a perfectly fried chicken thigh in a sandwich-- they add an extra piece of chicken with it so just on portion size this place is a winner. The heat was solid and the chicken was juicy check my pic. Staff was super friendly and the Tempe Eats has someone checking on you as well. The sandwiches come with a purple Italian style dressing ( not sure what is was) that you may find off-putting so if you are sensitive to that stuff get the sauce on the side. I didn't mind it all. Sandwich comes with fries-- the place has water pitchers with lemons in it, get some water. You need to try this place! Can't wait to go back.

I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and the portion was huge the chicken was spilling out of the bread! I was actually the only one at the table who finished the whole thing (I was hungry!). We came here for my brother's birthday and our server did a great job making him feel special. They offered him a birthday shot, but since he doesn't drink, they brought us churros for the table instead which was sweet of them. One thing to note* I wasn't expecting it to be as spicy as it was. Our server did give me a heads up but I personally loved the heat. If you're not into spicy food though, it might be a bit much.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I'm excited to see the future of this establishment,

The gentleman who helped us was super nice and patient (the tap mechanism on the card reader wouldn't work) and made sure our orders were correct. I went with their Panama Red and my mom got her staple - The Kind. My usual go to is their Bomb, but today I tried something new. Holy Moses. Their Panama Red (think chicken Parmesan adjacent) was SOOOO good. Very flavorful, perfectly cheesy, and on fresh, soft garlic bread. Heaven. We also shared their (giant) chocolate chip cookie. This was pretty much the best store-bought cookie I've ever had. It was soft and moist and had a loooooot of chocolate chips. I really do also love the vibe of this place. It's pretty fun! There's a lot to look at - stickers are *EVERYWHERE* lol I always see new ones every time I come in. The benches are pretty comfortable too, but they do not have padding so I doubt you'd want to sit for too long.

The French Dip had great flavor without being overly salty like some places, and the au jus complemented it well. The Dutch Crunch bread definitely lived up to its name--it had a nice crunch--but it was a little harder than I personally prefer. If you like a really crunchy roll, you'll probably enjoy it. The meal also came with a small chocolate cookie, which was a nice bonus and surprisingly tasty. The employees were very friendly. Even though they have self-checkout kiosks, they offered to check us out themselves instead of making us use them, which I appreciated. The dining area was clean, and there was plenty of seating inside.
