I initially had 1 sweater when the employee told me I could get another sweater and it would be 50% off from the other sweater. We'll come to find out, they charged me the 2 most expensive items at full price because they say it's mixed and match. If I would've done 2 separate transactions, I would've saved about $30. The women that work there today, on April 10th, 2022, at 7:30pm have a horrible attitude as well as no experience on putting grip tape. They told me trucks were $25, but when I went to pay, it said 25 each, which she didn't state. As a female skater myself, I was appalled knowing posers are putting together skateboards. I wanted my 11yr niece to see how to put grip tape on, but I told her to completely disregard what she was doing. The girl in pony tails who thinks she's cute couldn't have rolled her eyes any further to the back of her head, just because I was asking questions. You work at Zumiez, not at Macy's. Like wow ladies, what a way to make us females look dumb, and unprofessional. If your going to work at a skate shop at least know what you're doing. You can really hurt someone if you mishandle skateboard equipment. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I came here on Friday with two of my friends to browse around the store with the intention of making purchases. There was only one lady working there but then some other guy came back from a break or something. Really bad customer service. The workers did not acknowledge me nor my girlfriend when we walked in the store. The only time one worker interacted with us is when i picked up an item from the front counter. After he saw, he said "hey" then stared us down when my girlfriend and i were looking at stickers and wallets. I decided not to purchase one item so i told my girlfriend to return the item where it was placed. When we turned around one worker was sitting on the counter staring at us while one workers was already behind the register. My girlfriend held the item while trying to retrieve her wallet from her bag since we wanted to pay and leave. I felt them staring at us as if we were stealing so i took the item from my girlfriends hand while she was getting her wallet. I felt a bad vibe at this store. This is a great store and I never had a problem until today. As soon as I walk in, this employee with a sparkly mask has directed her attention towards me and my friends. As we are minding our business, we just feel very uncomfortable with having her walk near us as if we would be stealing things. As we are leaving, one of our friends forgets to put back a shirt. Keep in mind, he is still in the store, and he hasn't walked out yet. As he goes on back to put it away, the employee with the sparkly mask asks for the shirt in a rude attitude and then assumes that he was going to steal it. We were so confused to what happened and unlike her, we decided to be mature about it and let her think she was right. We politely walked away instead of causing drama and as we were walking, she gave us a glare as well. I came to Arcadia to shop with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. As we walk in, there was this girls standing there with her arms folded and a deathly stare on her face. I came to the store in jeans that day and my girlfriend ask me to try on one of those tanktops that you would see at an Active store. I then opened the door to show my girlfriend how I looked (she said i looked cool :D) but then out of no where that same girl goes "are you going to wear it in that? that tanktop doesn't go with jeans". Both my girlfriend and I were shocked that she said that, but I laughed it off to prevent an awkward situation. As I continued to browse the store, I decided I wanted to buy a belt. I started to put the belt in my beltloops to see if it fit correctly. She then walked up to me and said "are you going to buy or just try it on?" Then I took it off and she snatched the belt way from me. This lady was seriously whack to have come up to me and input her own opinions and to snap at customers. Customer service is bad most of the time. One time had an employee ask to see my girlfriends purse because he was so sure we stole something. Another trip we returned an online order for an exchange and the first thing the kid asked was if the returns were stolen. Then they followed us around the store while we were shopping. Totally ridiculous. We always spend a good amount of hard earned cash here and for children employees to treat customers like that is very stupid. My son loves shopping here and we always experienced great service. Hence why I recommended my brother to send my son a giftcard specifically from this brand for his birthday. When we go to check out, the giftcard cannot be processed. The cashier showed no empathy and did not offer to call customer service on my behalf to resolve the issue. I had to call myself and giftcard services were absolutely no help. They were not able to determine whether the giftcard was swiped or used electronically. Yet, they stated the giftcard was noted as "lost." What? What kind of notes is that? They offered no solutions nor did anyone at both the corporate and field level seem to care. How was costumer service for you? it was bad for me. there was a guy with long hair and a hat that was opening up the store, when a man came up to him to ask him to shop (the man didn't speak much english). the guy then said we don't open till 11:00 very rudely and the man said we have to go to the airport soon is there anyway we can come in, the guy said that doesn't matter you still can't shop. i found that very disgusting and disrespectful of him, if you want to tell someone that they can't shop yet do it politely especially if they don't speak much english. i hope someone sees this and shows him what to do better next time. also following up on my last review the guy said they opened at 11:00 and he left at about 10:45 to go who knows where and didn't come back till a few minutes after 11:00 read more
