The atmosphere was nice and clean. Waitress was helpful. The food was good. LOVED pickled Cabbage. The dessert was ok, but could use less or no reddish liquid. I forget the name of red liquid. My dessert was Malabi. I would like to go back to try some other new food. Since I am not familiar with this type of food, would love a description of each item, instead of looking up on my phone for information.

Prices have gone up and before it def wasn't glatt kosher but it is now. I've gone multiple times after my first time and found out more recently. So when you BYOB make sure it's kosher. Got the wrong wine and went back to the store nearby and they changed it for us :) Anyway the sampler is something I always get. They used to have small and large but they only have one size, which is the small. Fries are good They have a lunch menu which I didn't know about cus I always went after work. Everything always tastes so fresh. Oh also doesn't look like they sell the dips in the containers anymore but not sure. Water tasted a little weird the first time but now the water is better. It def gets packed more now that it's glatt kosher. Idk after the whole change my friend and I noticed how busy it's gotten. It was always busy but seems even busier. Pita was always good but seems better now :)

Stopped in for a quick lunch, and really enjoyed some authentic Israeli food. The food was flavorful and the Pita was the best part of the meals, bravo to the Hummus and Dips which made it all the better. The Israeli salad was fresh, but the service wasn't very personable, very get in, get out, have a good day. If you are in the mood for a good quick lunch spot, this one is a good one.

Came here after one of my other favorite mediterranean restaurants ended up being closed and did not have any expectations. First off, the staff was super friendly and attentive, and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. We started off with hummus and shawarma which came with warm pita (btw BEST pita ive ever had hands down). It was absolutely a choice filled with no regrets. My bf got the grilled chicken breast with rice and carrots while I got the chicken kabob with rice and pickled cabbage. My dish was delicious and my bf's dish was decent but the chicken was definitely dry. The portion size was also not very generous for $18. Compared to other locations, $18 will give you a mound of rice and veggies in addition to the protein of your choice. The sides here were very very small and would not have filled me up if I did not order an appetizer, which was also around $18.

Best freshly baked pita around here! Food & service was impressive and smart. That's what I have to say after a Sunday lunch. We ordered chicken shawarma w/ fries & moroccan carrots ($15+$4 for 2 sides), lamb kebab ($16, no sides), and a babaghanoush ($3.50) The pita came hot off the oven and it was divine - the best we've ever had so far! So much that my wife asked the server and he shared the secret at hi-level. :) But it's super flaky, chewy, and just plain delicious. I love the idea of the $3.50 sides - it is small but just enough to last u for a meal, or in our case, for leftover lunch the next day, at a lower price. In my opinion, so much better than forcing you to pay $$$ for a huge quantity that you always leave behind. It also allows you to mix and match well with entrees. Chicken was well-seasoned and delicious, and that HAND CUT FRIES... it was delicious twigs of potato full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, begging to be dunked into a savory ketchup! My wife went to town with it, reaching across to my plate... that I found myself slowwwwly moving my plate away from her fingers. ;) TIP: Ask for hot sauce and they'll give you this spicy but complex concoction of green peppers & spice... delish w/ lamb especially. I also love the chic interior and our server guy was attentive and answered with a "Sure" for every one of our request. ;) We didn't get the drinks but everyone was ordering their mint lemonades, refreshing themselves w/ that stupid-happy expression! I'll definitely look to be stupid-happy next time I roll in here, too! Zula is a new kid on the block and one in a crowded avenue full of middle eastern fares, but I think they really set themselves in line with some of the greats here w/ attractive indoor dining space, smarter price & qty, and great service. Highly recommended to all visiting Englewood for a good bite! TIP: Ask for second basket of pita to go and give extra tip. It's worth it.

Enjoying a day in Englewood, NJ with my client and ended up having bottomless spread for the table, pita's, falafels and other tasty fresh prepared bite size dishes. Every bite was flavorful. The waitresses were awesome. They had good vibes and I love their service. We enjoyed dinning outside where we can take in the vibe of the streets. I believe the manager or owner checked in with us to reassure we were good to enjoy ourselves, very welcoming. I recommend anyone to come here and enjoy a dish here. Live, love & laugh -Sha

First time coming here, good food I took the small salad platter, comes with 2 very good pita bread. My best salads choices were - Babaghanoush, Hummus, Schug and Tahina Amba that were very good. For main I took the Avi's Kabab that was good.

We got a table right away. The menu had a variety of dishes like appetizers, soups, gyro, kebabs, pasta, pizzas, seafood, wraps and sandwiches. In drinks section, they had the Turkish coffee and tea. We started with their complementary bread, so fluffy and light, we pretty ate the whole thing before any of our dishes came. I ordered my favorite fried liver cubes from the hot apps section, and it was fantastic. It was full of flavor, perfectly sized cubes and properly fried. Tasted so good with the complimentary bread (we requested a second one). For entree we ordered the Mix Grill and Karisik Izgara as it was a perfectly sharable dish for two and we got to try 5 of their kebabs that are lamb shish, ground lamb, chicken shish, ground chicken and grilled meat patties. Both ground kebabs were excellent, full of flavors. The shish and patties were also good. We got the margarita pizza too, but that one was disappointed, seemed like some sauce was just thrown on top of the cheese and wasn't baked long enough. Our server was really friendly. She always stayed on top of things. Our dishes came out in quick time, it was impressive. Despite the shortcoming of the pizza, which is not usually a Turkish dish, I was thoroughly impressed by the actually Turkish dishes, like liver cubes and kebabs. I'll for sure visit them again whenever I feel like having kebabs next time

We had to ask twice for our rice we ordered for entrees to be brought out because our server forgot. Fine, that happens. But what really threw me off was when I questioned if the mold in my cheese was normal, the server assured me it was naturally occurring for the flavor. I felt gaslit because I have never had Parmesan with such questionable green growth on it for consumption in any restaurant in my entire life. The server said if it bothered me, he'd bring out fresh shavings with no mold. I have left pictures so you can be the judge of this. Aside from my minor issue with the cheese, the ambiance of the restaurant was nice and there's plenty of choices for meat and non-meat eaters alike

This is a really good Greek restaurant with a fun, lively atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes mix between seafood, chicken and steak, and everything was very good. The portions were decently sized just enough to leave you full, but not quite enough for leftovers. We ordered a bottle and asked the waiter separately if it could come out with sparklers. There was a slight off vibe at first and some slight attitude but as the night went on, the sever became much friendlier and attentive. The music throughout dinner was great, and some Middle Eastern songs came on that were actually really fun to dance to. After we ate, the energy picked up even more and we were able to get up and start dancing. This is definitely a perfect birthday spot if you want a mix of good food and a fun night out. Overall, we had an amazing time, great vibes and great music.

The menu is tantalizing and there's plenty of familiar favorites along with a few new-to-me items that the server readily described when I asked questions. This time, I tried the pargiot sandwich. I had no previous conception of 'pargiot' but another reviewer had sung praises about this wonderfully marinated chicken thigh meat. Having tried it, I'm not convinced it's blow-your-mind good, but it was decently flavorful and tender. You can customize the salad type that goes in your sandwich, and I chose the Israeli salad, a blend of tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. Mine felt a touch overstuffed since it was harder to taste the chicken and made my pita soggy quicker than I would have thought, but it's hard for me to ding points for generous servings. Our server checked in on us regularly and even thought to inquire about any sesame allergies before setting down the tahini dip that comes with the welcome platter of bread. As the restaurant got full and our visit came up against a reservation, I appreciated how respectfully he asked for the table. Speaking of reservations, it might be a good idea to make one for your visit, especially if you're thinking of coming for dinner. My friend and I came on a random Tuesday afternoon and this space completely filled up. There are also some outside tables available for possible spillover seating, but if your heart is set on coming here, call ahead. Parking in Englewood is always tough, especially come mealtimes because there are so many restaurants here. Make sure you come laden with quarters for the older parking meters or have the ParkMobile app ready for the spots that allow mobile payment.
