Terrible. This overpriced, mediocre hamburger stand is in need of some competition to set the proprietors straight and have them start making better food instead of the incompetent swill they serve in the area since it's devoid of any other greasy spoons. I visited here several times for Tuesday night motorcycle meets in hopes of catching a glimpse of the stunt riders who frequent the place (ironically for all the guys who showboat their newest and most expensive hardware, the best stunter had a beat up old Honda CBR from the 90's). I've stubbornly had the misfortune of trying one new item after another, and just about everything was just eh and overpriced. Even without regarding the price, food here is was just tepid and just a sloppy mess. A place that turns simple fares into complex disasters. That's my thought on the place. read more

Zorbas is one of the better burger places around. The deliciousness compares to In-n-Out, but they have the pastrami burger! And then they also have zucchini fries to go with that. What more? A Coke machine, with every brand of soda made by the coca cola company and all the flavors, including weird ones like peach sprite, which is gross btw. Basically, it's one of those burger joints where you can get more unique items, and they are freaken delicious. read more

When I used to attend UCR, I would drive by this place everyday and I finally got the chance to eat here and boy was I missing out. The food here is tasty and plentiful. My favorite is the Zorba's Burger is HUGE and perfect for when I'm extra hungry. The burger is full of fresh veggies including shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions with a creamy dressing on top. The Zorba's burger is a pastrami cheeseburger which is cooked right in front of you and it's my #1 choice whenever I'm here. As another yelper pointed out, I usually opt for fried zuchinis or fried mushrooms instead of fries (they're all awesome). They definitely have the best fried mushrooms in the IE. The owner is nice and they have great customer service. It's worth mentioning that their coke machine is awesome, you can't go wrong is over 100 combinations. read more

We found Zorba's by accident. After leaving Lake Arrowhead hungry and disappointed that we couldn't find a particular restaurant we wanted to eat in we figured we would eat at the bottom of the hill. This turned out to be more of an adventure that we bargained for. Several places we found on yelp looked just too dirty to eat in and the further we drove the more Hangry (Hungry and Angry) we became. Finally I found a sandwich place and we turned off the freeway. It was closed. But there sat Zorba's a cheeseburger oasis in our time of need. We went in not expecting much - we just wanted calories so we didn't bite each other's heads off. We were pleasantly surprised at what we received. The cheeseburger was quite big (we split one and were satisfied) and it was delicious. The fries were equally good. The real treat was the bin of cucumbers in brine - an uncooked pickle. They were fresh and tasty. If you are in the area and you're hungry, Zorba's is a great choice. Where do I even begin. I went here with my mom and grandma and I guess I'll start with the service. I don't know what happened in this cashier's life that gave her such an attitude, but she really needs to get it checked. Onto the food, I had the California burger, it was cold and the patty was thin and over cooked and all of my avocado was plopped in one spot and I ended up getting it all in one bite. My mom ordered the zorba burger, her's was also cold and the pastrami on her burger was really fatty. My grandma ordered the pastrami sandwich her's was warm at least and her pastrami wasn't as fatty, it completely fell apart though. They also charge for ranch, which is whatever but they could let customers know if they order something that typically comes with ranch, we ordered onion rings to share which were just ok. Anyways $2 per cup is a bit steep for ranch if you ask me. We had to wait in line a second time just to pay for ranch. read more

After living in Riverside for about a year, I had been fulfilling my burger needs sadly by the likes of Carl's Jr, and other chains of the sort. Finding Zorba's was a saving grace for my taste buds! The Zorba burger and zucchini fries are a must-have combo, or substitute the zucchini fries for some onion rings if you'd prefer. Be warned, you'll need to bring a big appetite! -Even saw police officers eating here, so I guess it's pretty good! read more

I had a regular burger, fries, and a soda. Everything was fresh, fries were good, and they have that nice soda machine that allows you to choose how you want your soda. It reminds of this little soda shop in Inglewood, Ca called AstroBurger. The place is small and doesn't look like an InNOut but is made with good quality and taste just as good. My god. How have I never reviewed this place? Maybe because every time I eat here I go into instant food coma after or perhaps I secretly don't want people finding out about this somewhat hidden gem in Riverside. Probably the latter. Where to begin, the staff is great, I know most of them from seeing them frequently and they are usually in great spirits most of the time, they have a chili bar where I can stock up on yellow peppers to stack into my burger which is nice while I'm waiting. The burgers themselves are amazing I recommend the bacon avocado burger on toasted buns, it's a terrific burger for a fairly priced visit. I always loved the type of fries that they make it's the thick potato cut kind not small/thin or crinkle style. The theme of the place is kind of all over the place but it's retro style with posters of Brando and James Dean on the wall as well as an old Coca Cola sign, don't be surprised to see bikers hanging around as they frequent the place usually doing meets there from time to time, I don't see why people think it's so "sketchy" in that industrial area, I have yet to see or hear of these weekend warrior type bikers do anything illegal or violent towards patrons or each other ever. The soda machine is great even though I've grown accustom to it now I still sometimes catch myself thinking how awesome it is they have the big fountain machine with dozens of choices including my favorite kind of dr. pepper. For the price you pay you can't hate on the quality of charbroiled burgers they make, so far everybody I've inducted into the taste bud gamut that is Zorba's has yet to disagree with it being one of the best in Riverside. read more

One of my favorite places to go to during college. The zorba burger is the absolute best. Pastrami on a cheeseburger, what's not to like? The fries are great, the fried zucchini and fried mushrooms are also really great. Their ranch id some of the best I've ever had. But the thing that stands out is the drink machine! So many choices! I always come here for the Zorba's special #6! The pastrami burger here has been pretty good each time. The combo costs around $9 and they give a generous amount of fries plus a drink! They have 2 Coca Cola freestyle machines in the store which let's you customize your drink with so many different combinations! Definitely a gem in Riverside for sure! read more

There are many excellent "mom and pops" burger joints in Riverside; however, Zorba's is arguably the best. I would suggest, as many reviewers already have, to get the pastrami burger. I came in one morning, and ordered a breakfast burrito. The bacon inside of the breakfast burrito was raw. I complained, and it took a half hour to get a new one, at least the bacon was cooked. These cooks are in too big a hurry to serve you. You're just a customer, not too important. Hurry up and get going. I'll never go again. read more

Just went for the 1st time during lunch hr and there was a line to the door. It's not a restaurant like I thought, it's more like a fast food place. I had their tuna salad which was really good, but you have to pay extra for tomatoes eggs and avocados. Place is small, and only 1 toilet for each. I won't be going there again. read more

I come here all the time! The employees are very friendly and make the attempt to recognize a familiar face. I usually try to get the Zorba's burger which is a cheese burger with their amazing pastrami in it, or I get the gyro. Ehhh...I'm on the fence about this one. Someone my husband works with recommended we try Zorba's so we went last night. All he had to say was zucchini fries and I was there! My husband got the Zorba burger and loved it but I'm sure he could've ate two of them. I got the veggie burger and it was alright. I think the menu said it was supposed to have thousand island on it but it had mayo. I was mostly annoyed that my burger had only one pickle on it...I'm 5 months pregnant, I NEED my pickles! But whatever, the zucchini fries made up for it. The regular fries are great too. Only thing that really bothered me was that the place seems dirty. Like the kind of dirty that has you checking for roaches and looking for the health inspection sign lol. I was kind of surprised to see it is an "A". My husband used the bathroom before we left and said it needed help. So yeah, on the fence. Maybe if I'm feeling risky with a massive zucchini fries craving and husband wants pastrami, then we might be back. read more

I ordered a Turkey sandwich and opened it up, nothing but Lettuce and 1 slice of Turkey that looked exactly like It was fresh from the Stater Bros deli with mustard splattered on it. I mean.
